After getting the required cover letter for tomorrow, Ardi first completed payment administration in the main lobby area. Meanwhile, Alya came out with Aura who was already asleep in her arms.
"Al, is everything okay?" asked Rendy who was standing beside Yoga who also saw the presence of the graceful hijab doctor who had arrived before them.
Rendy felt something different when she saw Alya holding Aura affectionately, just as she had seen while in Ardi's funeral home four months ago. There was something piercing in his heart even though he did not want to think about it anywhere.
"Tomorrow morning will be examined by the pediatrician and laboratory tests to make sure everything," Alya replied with a soft soft soft voice that he held so as not to disturb the recovery of Aura's sleep.
He stared at the plain and adorable face of the baby in the deck of his hands, which still left a pale romance that gradually reddened and returned to its normal body temperature.
Ardi came and watched in full force, as Alya lowered her head and continued to look at the face of her little daughter, stroking gently with the tip of her fingers, and looking down at her, then give a sincere kiss on the forehead and the two cheeks of the beautiful baby.
Not wanting to dissolve in his feelings anymore, Ardi turned his attention in the other direction. Yoga who had seen him approached and took him home immediately considering the night began late.
"We're going home now, Di? Love Aura if it's too long outside these nights, let alone she's still sick."
Ardi nodded and immediately approached Alya who was still clutching and kissing her little daughter.
"Al, we go home first" said Ardi slowly after arriving in front of him.
Alya who was being swept away in affection for the tiny baby in her arms, raised her face and glimpsed at Ardi who was also looking at her.
"Al's? You crying?" How surprised Ardi when he found the face of the hijab was wet by tears that also still seemed to bathe the two fertilizers.
There was a sigh that was so smooth that it flowed with the succum when he saw the clear grains dripping slowly on the cheeks of the graceful woman.
"Ah, sorry. I'm fine."
Hurriedly Alya lowered her head again and wiped it with the back of her hand, then after that once again kissed softly Aura's forehead.
Handed over the tiny baby who was still asleep to the lap of Ardi's two hands that were ready to hold his favorite little daughter.
"Thank you for making it easy for us to get a check-up schedule for tomorrow morning." Ardi recalled Alya's help inside the room earlier.
"Tomorrow morning I will accompany you to see the pediatrician. Don't worry, Aura is a strong child, she must be recovering and healthy again."
Ardi nodded and smiled at a glance which Alya unconsciously replied. Once Ardi was washed away by the old gentle smile he never saw again, but soon he returned his mind to the princess only in his arms.
The car driven by Mr. Budi has come and stopped right in front of them all. Yoga opens the back door and asks Ardi to enter with the princess who continues to sleep, then closes it again.
After saying goodbye to Alya and Rendy, Yoga walked in and sat down at the wheel. Slowly the car left the hospital yard.
"Come, Al. We're home too." Rendy who still felt a little uncomfortable chose to immediately deliver Alya to her house.
Both in silence, they were speechless along the way. Alya seemed to still dissolve in his mind about Aura's health, in contrast to Rendy who actually thought of Ardi's existence in this city.
"I shouldn't have to feel this hurt, because from the beginning I knew that his heart never turned away from him."
Rendy began to regulate her breathing which felt tight because the thought of Alya and Ardi who continued to master her shadow.
"Are you okay, Ren?" alya asked who heard the sound of a pull and a breath that was quite rough from the man to disperse his daydream.
"Eitherway. I just felt uncomfortable when I saw Doctor Ardi's sudden presence in this city," Rendy replied to her about the discomfort she felt.
Alya lowered her head again and felt guilty for what the man was feeling right now.
Something disturbed Rendy's mind and became her question since then.
"Do you know if he's here?"
Alya nodded honestly and looked out the window. The woman recalled her encounter with Ardi who was beyond expectations at all.
"We met at Pak Yoga's house yesterday afternoon."
Rendy felt increasingly excluded from Alya, when in reality there was nothing special in their meeting yesterday.
"Are you two talking too?" investigate the man without wanting to hide any more disturbing flavors in the sanitary recesses.
"No. We only met briefly when he came and when I was about to go home."
Rendy was silent and was getting more and more dissolved in the uncomfortable feeling in her heart. He felt neglected when he was nothing to Alya. He felt that he was not considered even though there was no connection between them.
"Am I wrong if I'm jealous and now think of him as my rival, Al?" ask Rendy again.
Alya did not reply and chose to remain silent listening to whatever the man beside her would say.
"I know I'm overreacting with this feeling. But that's how I feel now, Al. Ever since Doctor Ardi changed status after losing his wife, I've felt increasingly afraid of losing you."
Alya blamed herself again. Why he had to accept Rendy's request to live a closer and open togetherness, even though he was still a good friend.
"I should have kept limiting our togetherness, Ren. I shouldn't miss out on your request that we want to spend more time together, even without any status other than we're still good friends."
Rendy glanced at Alya who was still staring out the window. There was guilt that finally came to his heart.
"Why should I say everything? Why should I admit everything? I should have been able to hold back and keep everything in my heart. Not even venting everything that now must make him feel uncomfortable again with me."
"I'm sorry, Al. I didn't mean to corner you. I didn't mean to make you feel guilty." Rendy tried to be more restrained from getting carried away.
"I was wrong, I was outrageous in addressing our ordinary relationship and considered it extraordinary. Again forgive me, Al."
Rendy still continues to blame herself and condemn her actions that cross the line, and must have offended and hurt Alya's feelings at this time.
"It turns out I'm still selfless, but I'm still selfish. It turns out I can't be as sincere in loving her. There's still hope that I force so often, even if I knew it wouldn't come true."
