LOVE NARA

LOVE NARA
3.31. FEEL APPRECIATED

"But I don't deserve you, Ardi ...."

Alya ventured to look at her former lover, whom she could never forget all this time. Sendu and pilu are clearly visible in the dim eyes of the graceful woman.

"Why not worth it? To me you are still the old Alya. Alya Annisa whom I've known since we first met on campus that time."

Ardi did not want to bring up Alya's past which would open the wound of a tender woman's heart before him. But Alya still remembers her and feels inferior in front of the man she loves.

"I'm dirty, Di. I'm despicable .., I'm weak and helpless. I don't deserve you anymore."

Alya's tears trickled down again and Ardi immediately wiped them off with a sheet of tissue he had just taken. But this time, Alya directly held him back and wiped himself off after taking the tissue held by the widower's doctor.

"I'm sorry if my attitude crossed the line. I just can't see your tears and sadness, because it makes my heart weaken, Al," honestly Ardi shamelessly admitted it.

"Listen to me. He's not worthy of a woman as good as you. Whatever the reason, he has no right to do all that to you, even if you're still his wife!"

"You're too good to be hurt. You're too special not to be considered like her treatment of you all along. He doesn't know who you are, he can't recognize you, he's blind so he can't see and feel the tenderness and sincerity you have."

Ardi's words are like a shower of cold water that cools Alya's heart which is being held agitated and frightened. She felt flattered and appreciated as a woman, just with a sedative sentence as Ardi had just uttered wholeheartedly.

Thank you, Di. Only you have always understood me and calmed me down when weakness began to strike my heart.

"From now on, make it a habit to convey whatever you feel, whatever you want. Never again do you keep and you are self-serving in your heart." Ardi continued to provide support for the woman who was still down and removed some tears that had wet her face.

"If you need someone as your place to tell stories and complain, I'm ready to listen to him, Al. Whenever you want me to listen to your story, just call me, I will always be there and make time for you."

Unknowingly Alya smiled. This time he felt very appreciated and was considered to exist by others. And what makes him happier is that someone is a very meaningful man in his life. Someone he loved very much as sincerely and all the time.

"Please promise to start appreciating yourself by making your heart happy and securing your own life. Be happy in your own way and with your own expression of happiness. You deserve to be happy, Alya. You should be happy." Ardi convinces Alya and tries to foster confidence and confidence in the already fragile figure before him.

"Thank you, Ardi ...." That was all Alya could say this time. His heart was still filled with an endless sense of haru.

Tonight, everything is no longer the same as the previous nights. Tonight, everything turned warm and loving. Tonight, Alya no longer felt alone. He rediscovered his soul that had long seemed separated from his body. Tonight, the meek woman has found again the happiness she has long lost from her life.

"How are your parents, Al? Are they both healthy?" ask Ardi who already knows if papa and mama Alya live with their proud only daughter.

"Yes, they're healthy. Thank you for asking them. They are now living with me" Alya replied as she continued to give directions to head to her rented house.

Ardi was happy because Alya began to answer his questions calmly and openly, from the previous one still seemed closed and continued to avoid.

"Alya ...." There was something that Ardi wanted to ask again about something that was still disturbing his mind.

Alya turned her head for a moment indicating that she was listening to the man. Ardi let out a long sigh before speaking softly and carefully.

"Do ... the man know where you live now?" Ardi was reluctant to mention Riko's name because it could make his heart heat up instantly and remembered the man's treatment of Alya.

Alya looked outwards, trying to hide her suddenly moody face and worrying about something.

"I'm sorry for talking about him again. But it's necessary for me to ask you to ensure your safety. I don't want him to come near you again even if it's just a step forward."

There was a sense of haru and happiness that quietly re-spawned in and calmed Alya's heart. Ardi's attention made her feel more comfortable despite being talking about Riko.

"I don't know. Maybe already, because before he could always catch up wherever I live."

Alya took a deep breath as possible to endure the tightness that started whack, then exhaled slowly to calm the feeling.

Alya smiled unconsciously. His heart felt calmer after hearing Ardi's words spoken with confidence.

Not long ago, Ardi had stopped the car right in the yard of Alya's house that was not too broad. Papa Alya sat alone on the front porch enjoying a cup of coffee held in his hand.

"Can I come down and say hello to your papa, Al? It would be rude if I delivered her daughter without seeing her first."

Ardi was still waiting for Alya's reply as he also did not want to impose his wish if the woman still did not allow it.

Nod Alya's head afterwards, making Ardi smile and then turn off the car engine.

"Thank you" he said, then as usual, went out first and opened the door for the woman.

Alya held a shy smile mixed with her happiness. From inside the car, he secretly ventured to look at the face of the man who was walking across the front of the car.

Thank you, Di. Thanks for everything.

Ardi opened the door from the outside and let Alya out carefully, not wanting the events of the previous day to happen again.

After closing the door, Ardi followed Alya walking towards the terrace and met her papa. They say a greeting almost simultaneously which Papa then answered kindly while putting his coffee cup on the table.

"Pa, this is Doctor Ardi." Alya introduced Ardi without further explanation. But Papa who had heard the name several times when Alya told his mother, could already find out who the man was.

"Good night, Om. Sorry if I was late to bring Alya home. I took him to dinner first." Ardi extended his hand which was warmly welcomed by Papa. He said honestly before there was a misunderstanding, because in fact he did not immediately deliver Alya home after the hospital.

Papa simply nodded and still threw his friendly smile at Ardi, making the man breathe a sigh of relief from it.

As Papa invites her to sit down, Ardi refuses subtly considering she has left Aura for quite a while. He was worried that the princess would wake up and look for him.

"I'll excuse you, Om. Al, please get my regards to Auntie inside," said Ardi after a little pleasantry with the parents of the woman he loved.

Alya nodded and after Ardi said a farewell to her papa, she drove the man up next to the car.

"Thank you Di, and I'm sorry to bother you. May Aura not wake up when you leave and not fuss all night." Alya glanced at Ardi who turned out that the man had already nailed a glance towards him. Deep and shady, affectionate.

"I'll go home first, Al. Tomorrow morning I'll pick you up and drive you to the hospital. Have a good rest and don't think about anything that's not good."

Just think about me and dream about me, Alya ....

Alya nodded without replying to Ardi's words. His heart still trembled after their gaze met and locked onto each other a moment ago.

Ardi got into the car and prepared himself. Before rewinding the car because the yard is not enough to turn the car, Ardi looked back at Alya closely.

This is all I can do for now, Al. Keep convincing you and making you comfortable first while with me.
