LOVE NARA

LOVE NARA
2.14. THE SAME SADNESS

"Don't .... Don't touch me ...."

Yoga looked sadly at his wife who was still unconscious. Occasionally he heard his moans, as if carried away by the situation when he was still held captive by Marcell.

"I ... belong ... my husband ...."

Yoga was moved to listen to Nara's words outside of her consciousness. How much he was loved by his wife so sincerely, that Nara kept trying to maintain her honor even though she had to fight and fight alone.

According to the obstetrician, the influence of the anesthetic drug should have disappeared from earlier. But because of the shock, Nara's condition still remains weak as before.

"You're just mine, honey. And I'll just be yours." Yoga answered Nara's words even though she knew, Nara could not hear them yet.

Kissing the wife's forehead gently, rubbed his head while tidying the strands of hair that cover the beautiful face of his favorite angel.

Time shows at nine o'clock. Yoga has asked Mr. Budi to come home and advised that tomorrow morning bring Raga to meet Nara.

Yoga is getting sad considering the baby who tonight has to sleep alone without his parents.

"Wake up, honey. Get well soon so the three of us can sleep together again in our room."

Just as Yoga was about to lay his head on the edge of the bed, he was suddenly startled by the slow movement of Nara's hand which he was still holding.

His drowsiness disappeared instantly as soon as he saw his wife begin to open her eyes and stare at him. Yoga lips show a wide smile as thanksgiving is pronounced with a happy face.

"Alhamdulillah, you've come to your senses, dear."

Yoga stood up and approached Nara with his head lowered to kiss his wife's forehead once again.

"Mas ..., where am I? I ... fear ...."

Nara's face still looks pale, coupled with a clear-cut look of fear accompanied by the blank look of her eyes that began to look at her, remembering the events that she could still remember.

Yoga quickly lowered his body, hugging Nara who still looked frightened.

"Don't be afraid anymore. I'm here with you, baby." Yoga whispers gently in the ear of the wife, trying to calm her by continuing to embrace the body that is still lying weak.

The feeling of Nara's heart that was originally pounding fast, now began to subside with a slower and regular beat.

Not long after, the man also felt Nara's hands begin to touch his back, hugging him slowly, until the embrace was tighter accompanied by a sobbing that began to be heard by Yoga.

He tucked one hand back to support and rubbed the wife's head, then let her let go of the cry behind her shoulder.

"Given the events of his captivity alone, he was already this sad. How am I supposed to tell you about her pregnancy that's over?"

Yoga gamang, do not know what kind of attitude should be taken again to tell Nara about the miscarriage she experienced.

"You're a strong woman, honey. Thank you for fighting for your honor and your pride. Thank you for your sacrifice to preserve the sanctity of our love. You're amazing, you're the best, baby!"

Yoga smiled in the midst of the ache felt in his heart. He decided to let this night pass first, until the next day when Nara's condition was better, then he would tell the wife about her miscarriage.

"Mas, please take me to the bathroom."

Nara woke up first. She woke her husband up because he wanted to go to the bathroom.

One soft call from his wife immediately woke Yoga from his sleep on a chair beside the bed.

"In a moment, Honey. I'll get the infusion bag first."

"Mas, how does my stomach feel a little weird? I also feel like I'm wearing a bandage. Did I have my period yesterday afternoon, huh?"

The rush of questions Nara made Yoga silent without daring to explain it directly to his wife. She chose to remain silent until Nara finished her bathroom business.

Nara was again sitting on the bed with the upper mattress slightly enforced by Yoga to make her lean back.

"Mas, just shut up? You know that I'm menstruating?" nara asked still in her soft voice.

Yoga looked at Nara's face which looked fresher after washing her face. There was a sense of unwillingness to tell the truth to the woman, but still had to do so that Nara more quickly accepted the reality and did not drag on lamenting her loss later.

Yoga shook his head slowly and closed his eyes for a moment to strengthen himself before telling a story.

"You're not menstruating, honey. It's not menstrual blood, but .. but it's puerperal blood."

Yoga stared at Nara who looked still confused by her answer. He hesitated where to start to explain everything.

"When was the last time you got your period?"

Nara tried to remember it and surprised herself after realizing that she had missed her period which should have come two weeks ago.

"So .. So I'm pregnant, Mas? But, this blood ...." His face was downcast staring at the lower part of his body with a feeling that was starting to get uncomfortable.

"Yes, you're pregnant, honey. But you had a miscarriage so the doctor had to do a curettage to clean your uterus."

Yoga grasped Nara's hand tightly and gently rubbed the back of her hand.

While Nara who was beginning to understand everything, turned moody with tears that had just flowed soaked her face that had originally looked fresh, becoming gloomy again.

He pulled his hand held by Yoga and then with the other hand placed on the stomach which is the center of his attention. Yoga let Nara cry sobbing while stroking her stomach.

Unable to see the sadness that was beating his wife's mind, Yoga grabbed Nara's body and held her in love.

Nara immediately wrapped her hands around the body of the husband standing next to her and shed all the cries she was still holding.

Eventually, the two of them fused together in the same grief, the same sense of loss that had never been thought of at all before.

"I'm sorry, honey. Because I can't take good care of you, all this has to happen and make us lose our second child."

Yoga kissed the top of Nara's head with a feeling of guilt that enveloped her heart, even though it wasn't her who was the cause of all this.

"Don't blame yourself, Mum. All of this is God's will and has become our destiny."

It is unexpected that Nara actually calms Yoga with the speech she conveyed from the arms of her husband.

"We have to accept all of this. We must also believe that God must have prepared something much more beautiful later and certainly the best for us, for our little family."
