LOVE NARA

LOVE NARA
3,77. I'VE BEEN READY

"Alya, are you okay?"

Ardi knocked on the bathroom door inside their room. His wife had been there for almost thirty minutes and had not come out yet. She worries about Alya, fearing that something bad happened without her knowledge.

Shortly after, the door in front of him opened. Alya came out with a change of clothes that had been brought in, complete with an instant bandage that covered part of his head. There was nothing strange about the woman, but Ardi knew what the wife was thinking.

"Sorry, I'm making you anxious." Without daring to return her husband's gaze, Alya kept her head down and walked over. He evaded Ardi who was still standing in the doorway.

"Alya ...."

The woman's steps came to a halt as Ardi held back one hand. The man who had become her husband followed her steps and stood right in front of Alya.

"I know you're still scared. Please, allow me to dispel that fear so that you can recover soon, Al. You believe me, don't you?"

Now Ardi's two hands have fused in his previous grasp, trying to better convince the wife. He did not want to force, just trying to strengthen Alya to dare to fight against the fears and shadows of the past that still blocked the healing of his inner wounds.

Ardi's soft words made Alya lift her face and lock her gaze towards the husband. He believed in the man in front of him. It's just that, the condition is now not like it used to be when they bonded as lovers.

"I've always trusted you, more than you think. Sorry if I still disappoint you with my attitude. From now on you are the most entitled to me. I will never fight or avoid it. But please, give me time to adjust to this new relationship, so I can give myself up completely to you."

Ardi nodded with certainty. Never the slightest bit crossed his mind, to force the will. He is not a forced man, let alone a lust thinker. He loved Alya as sincerely as he was. For him, Alya's recovery was the most important one right now, not the others.

"I'll be waiting for you, Alya. Until you declare yourself ready and sincere, I will keep my temporary limits. Fight to heal. I'm always with you."

Alya's feelings warmed up instantly. The smooth murmur again felt like it was shrinking the chest cavity and creating strange waves all over its body. His gaze was increasingly soft, staring at Ardi who remained calm in front of him.

"Thank you" he said with a blushing face. He withdrew his hand and left the smiling Ardi with a long sigh.

"I'll be out for a minute. There's something I should call at the clinic" the man said, grabbing the phone on the table.

Alya nodded from the top of the bed. He sat down waiting for Aura who was soundly asleep after taking her medicine.

Staring at the back of the man who had become her husband, the woman silently smiled. Until the figure of Ardi disappeared behind the door that was closed again, Alya still survived with a smile that made her heart feel flowery.

O Allah, give me the courage to begin to serve him. Now she is my husband and I should be able to be the wife of the Sholehah who serves her well.

Alya kissed Aura's forehead, tidied up her blanket then went down and headed for the dressing table. Sitting fixatedly staring at her reflection in the mirror, the woman slowly removed her hijab. She unraveled her slightly curly black hair and began to comb and tidy up, after a long day tied and covered in hijab.

His mind continues to fight in the gamang. It is a clash between fear and courage to open up and fully accept Ardi's presence in his life from this moment on.

He brushed away the shadow of dark events that still plagued his mind. She continued to pray and reassure herself, that what was especially for her now was Ardi the husband and Aura their beloved little princess.

I need to get well soon. They are both the most important to me. I should be able to be a good wife and mother to Ardi and Aura. Don't let me disappoint both of them. The three of us should always be happy, forever.

.Alya tied up her hair again and went back to wearing the same hijab. Without any makeup polish on her face, the woman exited the room after making sure Aura was safe in the middle of the bed.

Intending to make her husband a warm drink, Alya went down the stairs and headed for the kitchen. He saw Ardi sitting alone in the family room while holding a cellphone attached to the ear. The man was still busy with talks around work at the clinic, with one of the doctors there.

Alya's parents were already resting inside the room, while Ardi's extended family chose to stay at one of the nearby hotels. Mia's mother was also in her room after a full day helping the busyness in the house.

Alya immediately made two cups of warm drinks and took them to the room. He did not want to leave Aura for too long alone in a room that was still unfamiliar to him.

Shortly after Alya returned and placed the drink on the table, Ardi followed in and closed the door without locking it. He deliberately did it so that the wife did not feel afraid and think things out.

"I made you a drink, Di. Drink while it's warm." Alya was still standing waiting in front of the table.

The smile that appeared on her lips, made Ardi breathe a sigh of relief and step closer to Alya. The two of them immediately sat together on the sofa and enjoyed the soft woman-made drink.

"We'd better get some rest after this."

Alya nodded and confirmed her husband's words. He placed his cup next to the cup of Ardi that had been empty first.

Ardi got up from his seat and was about to head to the bed, followed by Alya who stood hesitantly beside him.

"Ardi ..," she called out softly which made her husband break his steps, then looked at her warmly.

"What's up, Al? You need anything?" ask Ardi slowly.

Alya fell silent and closed her eyes, gathering all her strength and courage to fight her trauma. After the calmness began to surround his feelings, the woman opened her eyes and looked at Ardi with a sad look.

"I'm ready if you want to open it."

Although hesitant and shrouded in anxiety, Alya tried to dismiss all bad thoughts that continue to disturb him. He will feel more guilty if he continues to ignore Ardi who always relented for his sake.

Ardi gasped at Alya's statement. Not expecting it to be this fast Alya took a stance and opened up to her little by little.

Their positions had been facing and locked into each other's sight. It was clearly seen by Ardi how Alya's tense face and unsettled attitude. But the woman persisted with her decision, in order to make her beloved husband happy.

Ardi advanced his body, getting closer and closer to Alya's body which was increasingly tense. The man was just as nervous as his wife.

It had been a long time since the last time he had seen Alya with his previous appearance. Long ago, when they were still together and tied love. Now, after becoming his wife, the man would look back on everything. What Alya has been guarding and protecting as part of her honor as a woman.

"Bismilahbornrahmanirrahim ...!"
