"What's up, Al?"
Without Alya realizing his arrival, Rendy had already walked into his room and handed him a piece of tissue.
Raising her originally bent face and still sobbing softly, Alya's gaze collided with Rendy's worried shady eyes.
"Thank you." Alya received a tissue that was still stretched by her best friend's bone doctor.
Rendy continued to watch Alya who was trying to stop her stuffing while cleaning her face that was still wet by crying.
"May I know what's wrong with you?"
Rendy was still waiting and allowed the woman she loved to calm down in silence and had not answered her question at all.
Rendy looked around the room which usually provided some bottled drinks by the hospital. And he found it at the back table right in the corner of the room.
With swift retrieval of a package of mineral water that was there and immediately gave it to Alya after she unsealed the cover.
"Drink, Al."
Again Alya received the drink of the humble man and sipped it little by little.
"I'm sorry I was late to get out of the room. You must have waited too long for me."
After feeling calm and more relieved, then Alya began to speak and answer Rendy's questions.
"Tomorrow I have to go out of town. There are personal needs that I must fulfill there according to my promise."
"Where are you going?" ask Rendy later.
The man's face looked surprised when Alya mentioned the name of the city where he had finished his studies until he successfully achieved the title of specialist doctor.
"Personal needs?" Rendy felt that something Alya tried to hide from her answer.
Alya refused to tell him. But for some reason, whenever Rendy looked at him softly and long like that, she felt guilty for not telling the truth to the man.
"There's a request from someone I have to fulfill because he's sick."
Alya told the outline of the contents of his conversation with Ardi on the phone, which had made him unable to withstand the sadness until his tears spilled unstoppably again.
Rendy felt a gaping slice of pain in the recesses of her heart, when she heard Alya mention the name of the man who had been deeply imprinted with sincere love in the depths of her heart.
"Is that the bond of feeling between you, until you easily feel the sadness when you know that your loved one is being overwhelmed with deep sadness? You even feel the same way the guy feels."
"When are you going there?" ask Rendy who intends to participate and accompany her beloved woman.
"Tomorrow at noon, after I finish my morning duties here."
Rendy pulled out her phone and opened an online flight booking app. After finding the exact departure time according to Alya's plan, she immediately booked the tickets for two people.
"I've got the ticket, Al. Tomorrow afternoon we leave together from here."
"We? You mean ...?!" Alya subconsciously looked at Rendy for quite a while, making the man satisfy himself to enjoy Alya's beautiful eyes.
Alya who noticed it hurriedly lowered the incursion and avoided Rendy's gaze which was still fixed on him.
"I can't let you go alone, Al. More over there you will face a sad and unpredictable situation."
"But, Ren ...."
"I just want to be with you. I won't do anything that bothers you."
Alya let out a sigh of resignation, not wanting to argue with the man and choosing to immediately prepare to go home.
Rendy smiles at Alya's attitude which finally allows her to accompany her away to a city filled with memories of her most beautiful love.
"We're going home now?"
Alya nodded and stood up. First he cleaned his desk and followed Rendy out of the room.
"More!" call Alya as the man starts to move away first.
"Yes?" As Rendy looked back with her sturdy body, Alya revealed a small smile to her good friend's bone doctor.
"Thank you."
The next day that coincided with his duty holiday on the weekend, Alya and Rendy had already arrived in the hometown of Yoga and Ardi. They went straight to one of the hospitals that Ardi had told them about.
Since the beginning of his departure, Alya had not thought about Ardi at all. Completely he had actually come to fulfill the request of the Flower that he had already considered a younger brother.
"Al, are you sure it's okay?" rendy asked as they walked together down the corridor to head to the Flower treatment room.
Alya nodded without turning her gaze which remained staring straight towards the front.
"I came here specifically for Flowers. Not to think of anything else."
"My love will probably be forever in the heart and there will be no substitute. But the reality remains that I must live according to the provisions that have been outlined for my destiny. God willing I was sincere long ago and will be forever."
Alya felt much calmer after applying that look in her heart. Maybe sometimes the memories come to the surface and make him lulled to recall the beautiful time of their togetherness first.
But even once, it was never in his heart to hope for the same thing as before. Because for him, it is enough that he lives and enjoys his own happiness, without having to hurt or hurt people in his present, even with his past.
As per the instructions from Ardi, they finally arrived in front of the Flower treatment room. Ardi who was waiting outside looked surprised to see the arrival of Alya with Rendy.
In her mind, if Alya came with someone, it would be her husband who would accompany her. But he actually saw the bone doctor who accompanied Alya's arrival to meet the Flower.
Feeling no need to discuss let alone think about it, Ardi immediately welcomed his two guests and greeted Rendy with a warm greeting.
For a moment Alya felt touched by his heart to see the condition of Ardi who was far from the word neat and dignified as usual.
At this time the charismatic doctor appeared tangled and looked unkempt, making Alya feel pity and also feel the sadness experienced by Ardi.
"May the Flower heal soon and everything improve as before, Di. Can't bear to see yourself like this ...."
Along with his predecessor, Ardi invites Alya and Rendy to come in to see his wife. Rendy chaperoned at Alya's side, keeping watch in case the woman felt something affecting her condition.
"Doctor Alya ...."
The smiling flower passively saw Alya's arrival that was soon approaching and gave a warm embrace to her.
"Why haven't you told me before? You're making me so worried."
Trying hard to not cry in front of Bunga, in fact Alya was not able to do it. His cries broke for a moment after he greeted the meek woman.
"I'm fine, Doctor Alya. Really, don't cry like this."
Flowers could feel Alya's sincerity. Through her sorrowful cries, she believes that Alya is a very good woman.
With her weak little hands, the Flower wiped away the tears that soaked Alya's face.
"I'm sorry if I trouble the Doctor with my request."
Alya shook her head and smiled back, after calming down and mastering her state.
"Absolutely not. I'm just glad I came to visit you and see how you're doing."
Bunga turned her gaze towards Rendy who was standing at the end of the bed with her husband. In contrast to Ardi who was surprised when he saw the togetherness of Alya with Rendy, Bunga did not feel shocked and act ordinary.
"Is your relationship more than just a good friend? Why do I feel sad and unwilling if that's the reality ...."
