LOVE NARA

LOVE NARA
3.45. DOCTOR DANU

The night after closing the file of the report to be signed, Yoga received an important phone call from one of the sons of Doctor Danu, the doctor who was very meritorious to Mahendra's extended family.

"Who's phone, Mas?" ask Nara from the bed. The woman had been lying down long enough after putting her tiny baby to sleep, but still could not close her two clear eyes that still survive to accompany the husband to finish the job.

"From Doctor Dani, the eldest son of Doctor Danu. He told me that Doctor Danu is sick and that she is quite worried right now."

Yoga looked gloomy after hearing the bad news. Nara asked him to sit down first to calm down. She immediately got out of bed and approached her husband with a glass of water that was always available in the room.

"This, Mas. Drink first and don't panic. Keep calm and we pray for him together." Nara clasped Yoga's left arm while the man's right hand held the glass she was finishing.

"Yes, Honey. I was just surprised because I had never heard of him being sick or having a disease. But it's possible the family hid it too, I don't know ...."

Putting an empty glass on the table, Yoga then grabbed Nara's body with both hands and carried her into his tight arms. His eyes closed, imagining the amount of good that Doctor Danu had done for his family, from he was a baby to the current household.

"He was treated at home for insisting he didn't want to be taken to the hospital" continued Yoga as he continued to hug his wife.

Not much different from her husband, Nara also felt a deep sadness. After all, Doctor Danu is one of the most instrumental people in helping Yoga to cure the disease first.

Thanks to the cold hands of senior doctors who are very trusted by the patients, Yoga can face the disease and willing to undergo various kinds of treatment done by Doctor Danu.

"I will accompany you to visit him, Mas." Nara stretched out her embrace and looked at her husband softly.

"What about Gana?" The man returned his wife's gaze no less dear.

"There's a lovely Mama and Aunty Asih at home, isn't there? Mr. Budi can also help accompany Raga."

Doctor Danu lived in the same city as them, but his house was on the edge of the city far from the frenzy of worldly activities.

Since decided to stop working and not open the practice again, exactly one year ago, the noble and very humble doctor settled in his old house and enjoyed his old age happily with his eldest son's family.

"alright. Tomorrow morning we go to visit him. Thank you, dear. You can always calm me down and make me not worry. I love you so much." Yoga kissed Nata on the forehead with all the feelings in her heart and soul. His embrace grew tighter as if asking to continue to be accompanied and soothed.

"I love you too, Mom. We'd better get some rest to prepare for tomorrow morning's departure."

Nara invites her husband to lie on the bed and close his eyes together. Yoga hugged her even tighter until the two of them fell asleep.

The love story of Nara and Yoga is inseparable from the important role of Doctor Danu. He is always ready to provide the best service and care for Yoga during the man's illness. Severe pain that almost took his life and separated himself from loved ones, namely Nara and Raga at that time.

In the middle of the night Nara wakes up alone to breastfeed Gana. Yoga fell asleep so soundly that it did not hear the hungry whimper of their tiny baby.

While breastfeeding on the sofa, Nara looked at her sleeping husband without the slightest change in position. There was a sense of pity when he saw his sadness earlier. Saddened to hear the news of Doctor Danu's illness.

We both prayed for him, Mom. Ask the best for Doctor Danu. I hope we get a chance to see him tomorrow.

Despite not knowing Doctor Danu and having only met a few times when she was handling her husband, just like Yoga, Nara still considers him the most important person in their lives.

Remembering Doctor Danu also means remembering the pain of Yoga. The complicated story of their love first, starting from the disease suffered by the man.

Yoga Mahendra, a man who, fearing the verdict of the disease, chose a shortcut to immediately have Nara and get the offspring of the good woman he loved so much.

Your actions are wrong, and cannot be justified for any reason. But the genuine love and real care you always show me and give me somehow makes my feelings for you reverse.

Instead of hating, I love you. You managed to melt my heart with the honesty of the feelings you showed me. You have only ripped me apart once, but you have repeatedly rattled my heart by giving me unrelenting attention and love.

Nara wiped away the tears that had soaked her cheeks. Whether it was happy tears or vice versa. But surely he felt moved to remember his love story with Yoga.

Love is complicated from the beginning and not based on love. A love that begins one-sided but ends in love with each other.

Their love is amazing. Bad in the beginning, wrong in the beginning and not welcome because there is still another love.

But the sincerity and patience of Yoga is able to melt his heart and make him start to pull over the first love that he had hoped to be the last love.

And as his heart begins to realize the love that has grown and blossomed in it, at the same time he must accept the fact that the age of Yoga only lasts soon.

Yoga which from the beginning deliberately hid the history of his illness, made Nara shocked when she found out that she had been living with a man who was waiting for his death, without knowing anything at all before.

The woman never realized that the multiple times of pain that Yoga experienced, was actually a chronic illness that was already at the end of time, just waiting for the moment where her heart was beating for the last time.

Gana went back to sleep without fidgeting. Nara immediately tidied up her clothes and stood up and walked towards the crib to put her sister Raga to sleep. After covering the tiny body with a blanket and stripping a mosquito net on it.

He filled his stomach with a glass of water to restore his energy after giving breast MILK to the one-month-old baby.

After washing her hands and also refreshing her face with running water in the sink, Nara first dried it before returning to smaping her husband.

The gentle and loving woman kissed Yoga on the forehead and whispered the word love in the ears of her lover.

I love you, Mas. Thank you for fighting and persevering to stay with me and our children. Thank you for your unyielding patience to melt my heart in your silence, which never asks much less force my will on me.

You are an extraordinary man who was destined by God to be my life companion and complement my life forever. Thank you, my Imam!
