LOVE NARA

LOVE NARA
3.29. CAN'T BE CALM

The next night after putting Aura to sleep and laying her on the bed, Ardi came out of the room and met Yoga in the living room as usual.

At first glance, when the two of them had a conversation in the afternoon on the front porch, Ardi had told about his meeting with Riko and Cindy who had not been known. The meeting he felt held many curious secrets.

Yoga opened his phone and searched for an important piece of data he had stored in a file with some of the photos.

"Who was the person you saw this morning?" Yoga shows a photo that has been plastered on the screen of his phone.

Ardi moved his face to pay attention and confirm the figure in the photo. His face turned enthusiastic when he recognized that person.

"Yes! That's it, Ga. He's the one I saw this morning" replied Ardi with confidence.

"Who is he? You knew her?" ask Ardi to his friend.

Yoga pulled back the phone, closed it and put it on the table. He stared intently at Ardi who was waiting for him with a face full of curiosity.

"She is Riko, Alya's ex-husband."

Instantly Ardi's countenance turned cloudy and gloomy. The look in his eyes turned full of anger and a very clear sense of disbelief seemed to dominate his attitude.

"I had expected that he was part of Alya's past, but I didn't think that he was that crazy and uncivilized man at all!"

Yoga also felt that it was too late to get information about Riko's freedom. This morning at the office, Pram had just submitted the search results from his decree the previous day.

It turns out that right on the day that he obtained information about Riko's possible freedom, that's when the man also got out of prison and went home.

"What about Alya? Was he okay after that?" tanya Yoga makes sure again.

Ardi shook his head uncertainly. Not sure what she saw because Alya is very good at hiding her feelings.

"No. If that man was her ex-husband, I'm sure Alya couldn't possibly calm down after this. But every time I asked her how she was, she just shook her head and didn't say a word. It was obvious that he was hiding something from me."

Ardi started to worry about Alya. He was very sure that the current Alya must be filled with extreme anxiety and fear. Suddenly he wanted to see the woman immediately and make sure she was again.

Viewed time instructions are visible on the screen of the phone in his grasp. It seemed like he could still do it if he could arrive on time.

"I can't wait anymore, Al. Although I had thought of letting everything flow, but after he returned, I really can't let you face him alone!"

Yoga who saw the unsettled gestures of his little friend, immediately went inside and came back again with a car key which he then put on the table.

"I have to go now. I can't calm down before I see him."

Without changing his clothes, Ardi stood up quickly while grabbing the car keys that Yoga had just placed.

"May I'm not too late!"

Walking quickly towards Alya's examination room, Ardi continued to pray inwardly that he could still meet the graceful woman and reveal everything tonight as well.

The man was able to breathe a sigh of relief when he saw that there was still one patient waiting in front of the examination room of the graceful hijab doctor who wanted to see him immediately.

Sitting while adjusting the breath that was still hunting because of walking hastily through the stairs, Ardi also began to organize the feelings in his heart so that he could be as calm as possible when dealing with Alya after this.

The last patient had been called inside, leaving the widower doctor sitting alone on the waiting bench.

As he glanced around, his gaze suddenly came to a halt when he saw a familiar man coming out of another room at the end.

"It seems I should start getting used to letting go of this feeling, for the sake of her happiness."

Showing the best smile on his face, the man walked over with a raging heart and approached Ardi and greeted him.

"Good night, Doctor Ardi." His hands stretched out to greet him, who was immediately greeted by Ardi who stood up and replied with an equally friendly smile.

"Good night, Doctor Rendy. Just finished the practice?"

"Yes. Just finished," replied Rendy with a smile that she still kept showing.

After both releasing their hands, Ardi put both hands into his pants pocket and tried to act as calm as possible even though his mind was still completely fixed on Alya.

"May your heart still be fully awake to me, Al. Can I hope so now?"

Not knowing what to start a conversation, Ardi chose to stare at the door of Alya's room that was still closed. Rendy who saw it could only sigh patiently and help calm her own equally restless heart.

Soon the door opened and Alya's last patient came out with the nurse who was in charge of her. Seeing Rendy and Ardi standing in front of the room, the nurse came back in and told Alya.

From where he stood, Arencui could look inside and accidentally his gaze was flirting with Alya who was also staring outwards, after listening to what was conveyed by his nurse.

Ardi threw a smile to the woman of his past, whom he had begun to hope to return to be his.

Alya misbehaved and hurriedly shifted her gaze, before the bang on her chest hit even harder and stifling.

After finishing all his duties, the graceful hijab doctor came out with the nurse who immediately preceded him back to the guard room.

"It's over, Al?" Ardi first greeted the graceful woman, before Rendy had a voice.

Alya just nodded and briefly stared at Rendy who continued to be silent because her chance was first taken by the man beside her.

"I'm taking you home now?" invite Ardi with the confidence he tried to show in front of the bone doctor who both have more feelings for Alya.

Alya was still worried because there was Rendy who usually drove him home. But when he saw his best friend smiling and nodding his head, he finally agreed to Ardi's invitation.

With an ever-expanding smile adorning her bright face, Ardi invites Alya to walk first, while she keeps her steps up and accompanies her behind the woman they both love.

"I'm fine, for your sake who must regain the happiness long lost from your life, Al. I can definitely get through it all. And I'll still be fine after this."

The three of them split up in the hospital courtyard. Rendy let go of Alya who started walking in tandem with Ardi towards the Yoga car brought by her little friend.

"Open your heart to his presence again, Al. Be happy with her, she loves you just as much as you feel for her. I believe he will always look after and protect you with all his heart."
