LOVE NARA

LOVE NARA
66 MEET IN PILU

"There's something you should know about Yoga, Ra."

After a week passed without the expected good news, tonight Ardi decided to tell Nara about her husband's condition.

Not everything she would explain, but at least Nara should still know about Yoga's current unconsciousness.

"Yoga? What exactly happened to her?"

This week his heart longed, continuing to search for news of the man. Her heart could not calm down, because even though their baby was in her arms but the husband was not with her.

Ardi asked permission from Father and Mother who were waiting for Nara, to take the woman to go to see Yoga.

After getting permission, Ardi helped by Mr. Bapak helped Nara get out of bed and sit on a wheelchair that had been prepared.

Pushing the wheelchair slowly out, Ardi directed his way towards a special room that was still one floor with Nara's treatment room.

They arrived in front of a special treatment room occupied only by a patient in it.

A nurse opened the door from the inside, then let Ardi bring Nara in and approached the bed where Yoga was weakly unconscious.

Nara's tears were unstoppable again to see the condition of the husband who so many days he was waiting for news of his condition. Now he has met Yoga and can see it, but in a state of Yoga that makes him more and more bitter.

A variety of medical devices are attached throughout Yoga's body, especially in its chest, which is filled with aids to survive for a while.

The entire device is connected to two monitor screens on the side and on top of the Yoga bed, as well as a larger machine placed next to the table.

Ardi signaled the nurse to leave them. The nurse stepped back and closed the door from the outside.

"Yoga ...."

Nara called out to her husband with bated breath and a broken heart. He had not expected to meet the man in such a bad state.

Ardi helps Nara move into a chair that is more comfortable and closer to Yoga. Then he stood beside her.

Once again Nara stared at the whole body of Yoga. The amount of equipment attached to his chest covered the scars of the surgery that he had always hidden.

"You want to know the condition of Yoga, don't you? And this is how it is now, Ra."

Yoga can see the sadness that is so deep felt by Nara who increasingly shed tears.

Nara's hand continued to tightly grasp Yoga's cold hand. Through his touch he tried to tell the husband that he had come, was beside him and saw his condition.

"How long has he been unconscious like this?" nara asked as she cleaned her tear-filled face. Even after that, the face was wet again with a new cry.

"Since the first time he was brought here and dealt with, his condition has been critical" replied Yoga.

Nara's getting sobbing. His cries now echoed across the room, which had previously only heard the regular sound of medical indicators from the monitor screen.

The accident that befell the two of them that morning, returned to the real picture in Nara's mind at this time, making her more filled with guilt for her husband.

Still he clearly remembered, when Yoga ran quickly to help and replace the position of danger. The man saved himself by pushing his body away, until Yoga himself, who eventually became a victim, was hit by a car right in front of his eyes.

Nara dropped her head on the edge of the bed, hiding her increasingly scarlet face and wet with tears. She was blasting her crying that was becoming more and more. So much regret and guilt towards her husband.

"Why did you do it, Ga? Why should you?" Nara's voice faltered in between her increasingly loud cries.

"Because he loves you. She loves you so much, and the baby that was still in your womb. He doesn't want to do anything bad to you and your baby."

"Anything he would do for his wife and child. He loves you both so much. He will never let anything bad happen to you. Even if and no matter how small it is!"

"Anyone would do the same, sacrifice himself to save the one he loved so much."

Sentence after sentence Ardi delivered increasingly made Nara overwhelmed with immense guilt.

How much Yoga loved her to the point of willingly sacrificing her life for her sake. While he was, even he himself was not sure of his feelings for the man.

"Although hopeful, but he wants to force your feelings on her. He's self-conscious, your love is not for himself, and probably never will be for him."

Ardi's words were so sharp that they pierced his heart. He had never felt anything this painful. The doctor's words were like subtle innuendos directed at him, and really hurt his heart.

Not hurt by anger or hatred. But the pain of not being able to repay the sacrificial love that Yoga had for her.

(Can't I really repay her feelings for me? Or am I just not able to interpret my feelings for her all this time?)

"Can the doctor leave us? I want to be alone with her ...."

Nara raised her head and straightened her face again, then looked at Ardi with a pleading gaze. She wanted to accompany her husband.

Ardi nodded and granted Nara's request. This is what he also wants, so that Nara can be close to Yoga and give strength to his little friend who is already at the end of his life.

"I'll wait outside with the nurse. If you need something, just press the green button next to the top monitor."

Ardi shows an emergency call button on top of the Yoga bed. Nara immediately nodded in understanding.

For a moment Ardi stared at Yoga, with a line of prayers he said in his heart.

"I believe that Nara's presence next to you is an incredible force that will give you a new spirit. Stay put until I can get what we need for your recovery!"

Then the doctor stepped slowly away from the bed and out of the room.

Nara tried to stand up carefully and shifted to get closer to the handsome face of the man.

He grabbed the weak hand again, grasped it tightly and held it over his chest. With a trembling heart he tried to flow the warmth through his gentle touch.

Nara brought her face closer to Yoga's face and whispered softly in her ear.

"I'm here, Ga. Get up and look at me."
