LOVE NARA

LOVE NARA
3.14. GREATEST DREAM

"If he were still as alone as he used to be, would you let him be possessed by another man?" cecar Yoga is intentional.

Ardi was silent for a moment. It was at that moment that Yoga got up from the sofa and walked towards the bed, leaving Ardi with his unfinished lunch.

"Doctor, please have lunch first. Let me accompany Aura. Don't let you be late going to the clinic because of us."

Alya just agreed to Yoga's request because soon she must go to the clinic. Stepping slowly towards the sofa, the woman sat on the same side that Yoga had previously sat on.

Recalling his conversation with Yoga just now, Ardi suddenly misbehaved in front of Alya.

"How could his original speech affect my mind like this?"

Ardi turned his head towards the bed and looked at Yoga guiltlessly continuing to avoid the gaze from him and was busy playing with Aura.

"In, are you okay?" alya asked who caught the agitated attitude of the man who was still continuing his lunch.

Ardi turned his head and looked at Alya with a face that was still tense and misbehaved.

"What's? Oh. yeah, I'm okay. Eat it." Ardi invited Alya to take and enjoy his lunch.

"O Allah, why is it that my heart has become unsettled when it is near her ...??"

Ardi rubbed his face then quickly finished his lunch. After spending one glass of bottled water, Ardi intends to go back to accompany Aura, but did not do it because Alya actually opened a conversation with him.

"So I met with Aura's doctor. He said that Aura could come home this afternoon."

Ardi nodded in agreement. Not daring to look at Alya because his heart was still filled with loud thump that had not subsided.

"Yes. At the examination this morning, the doctor had also delivered it to me. Just waiting for the infusion to run out and be released."

They went back into silence. There was only the sound of Aura occasionally chuckling with Yoga who petted him affectionately.

Secretly Ardi stole a glance towards Alya who was still finishing her lunch while paying attention to Aura who today seemed always cheerful.

A small smile continued to linger on the woman's lips, with a shady and loving look in her eyes while nailing her gaze at her beloved little daughter.

"Now your blood has flowed in my daughter's body. Will you get closer after this because of it, Al?"

"Yes-yes .. ma-bu ...." The sound of Aura calling out to them, made Ardi and Alya smile at the cute baby who was still playing with Yoga.

"Do you mind if Aura calls you that, Al?" Ardi asked her directly to the woman who was always called bubu by her daughter.

"It doesn't matter to me and don't think too much. Maybe he called me that because his vocabulary was still limited."

Alya tries to find another reason for Ardi to no longer discuss Aura's affectionate call to him, although in fact he also knows, only he is called bubu by his beloved baby.

"What time does your practice at the clinic start?" Finally, Ardi looked for other topics of conversation.

"Four noon to four in the afternoon."

Ardi imagined how busy Alya was with her busy work schedule every day. Three practices in two different places, which required him to commute back and forth to fulfill all his obligations.

"Why did you add to your busy life by taking another job at the clinic? Haven't you been working morning and evening at this hospital?" ask again.

"Because by working and carrying out responsibilities in the clinic, I feel that I have been able to realize some of my biggest dreams that have not been achieved, Di."

"May I know, what's your biggest dream?" Ardi began to be interested to find out more about Alya's work during this time.

Alya placed the food box she had just used on the table and neatly stacked it together with other food boxes previously used by Yoga and Ardi.

While cleaning the table and tidying up all the tableware that Nara brought from home, Alya answered Ardi's question.

"My dream is not much different from the dream of all doctors in general. I want to have my own clinic, open and manage it myself, and devote my knowledge and abilities there to serving the surrounding community, especially for the underprivileged."

It felt a subtle sigh that flowed through Ardi's chest cavity, when he heard Alya's reply spoken calmly and full of confident smiles.

As a doctor who already has his own clinic, Ardi was embarrassed and slapped by Alya's speech. During this time he still always prioritizes profit-loss in the management of the clinic and less attention to his surroundings.

"I feel ashamed of myself, Al. As a doctor, it turns out that all this time I was still less grateful for what I had achieved and I had. I'm still less sensitive to my surroundings and haven't done much good in the name of my profession."

Alya widened her smile and glanced at Ardi.

"Everyone has their own priorities. Do not make your work and purpose a burden, but as a blessing. Just do it with good intentions and straight, then the results will always give you happiness and inner satisfaction."

Ardi nodded and understood the meaning of Alya's words. His mind became increasingly open after listening to the woman's explanation, which was conveyed with a soft and meaningful speech.

"Thank you, Al. Your words have made me realize my shortcomings and forgetfulness all along. After this, I'll try to fix it."

Again Alya smiled and looked at her gently, making herself again struck by a vibe that felt beautiful yet stifling.

"Don't get swept away again, Di! He was already happy with the current owner of his heart."

"Do it all by heart, Di. Because everything will be in vain if we have not wholeheartedly done it. I believe you understand what I mean."

Alya finished tidying the table and put the cutlery in a special bag to store everything.

"I have to go now."

The graceful hijab-wearing doctor took her bag and stood up and went back to Aura followed by Ardi behind her.

"Stay healthy always yes, son. Auntie has to go first. We'll see you later at Aunt Nara's house."

Yoga pulled over and made more room when Alya wanted to hug and kiss her petite baby. From beside him, Ardi watched with the same feeling as before. Enchanted and happy with the beautiful vibe in his heart.

"Bu-bu .. bu-bu ...." The aura looks more and more carefree after being embraced and admired by Alya.

Luckily the baby was no longer fussy when Alya was about to depart, so he could leave her with a calm heart.

After Alya's departure, Yoga looked back at Ardi with a sharp look. He wanted to know the reaction of his best friend after what he had said.

"What's wrong?" tanya Ardi pretended not to pay attention to the gaze of Yoga's eyes to him.

"There's nothing. I'm just waiting for your answer to my question."

"It looks like your sanity is starting to erode. How could you ask me to wish that she belonged to another man?"

Ardi shook his head repeatedly, still clueless with the thought path of his little friend.

"All right, I'll change my question." Yoga still continues to attack Ardi on purpose.

"If it turns out that he no longer belongs to anyone, are you ready to face another man who wants to take his heart and have it?"
