Love took her hand. Her mind and heart raged as her ex-husband's extended family sat around her. Love felt cornered, there was no way she could run away or dodge from here while the infusion needle was still embedded in her hand.
"Love, you know what we're all going to talk about, don't you?" The sultan opened his voice.
Arya who usually dominates, is now a loyal listener. Ratih and Hanum sat flanking Cinta, while the Sultan and William sat before him.
"What's Pa doing?" Love ventured to ask, when honestly he already knew about what they were going to talk about right now.
"Related ..."
"Pa. Let me do the talking" said William cutting off his father's speech.
"Yes, now is the time to talk. You've been quiet for too long" replied the Sultan.
Silent moment. Everyone shut up, prepared to listen to what William was going to talk about. The young man took a deep breath before opening his mouth.
"Love, I apologize for everything that has happened to you. Today, with full and unforced awareness from any side, I want you to come back to me. Allow me to fight for you Love, give me a chance to redeem all my deeds for you. I'm saying this isn't just because there's my son in your womb."
William breathed a heavy breath. He paused for a moment his sentence, his eyes busy looking at something that Love hid in the depths of his eyes.
"Since your departure, there's been a lot of things that I've had to go through. At first I didn't really understand it because all I knew in the past was that Raisa was in my heart, but I was wrong. I was lonely and feeling very lost. I tried to get up to defend because I thought everything was going to pass soon and be fine, but again I was wrong. I can't live without you Love, I'm sorry I was late to realize that this love is all yours. You're the one who occupies the space in my heart, now and forever."
The two men looked at each other. William saw a look of hurtful eyes when Love looked at him, but besides, there was an indecipherable look. Those shady eyes were looking at him lovingly, just like when they were married long before the tempest shook their ark.
Even with Love. The woman's lips were tightly clenched. Trying to find the truth in each of William's words, and Love was surprised to find that the man was looking at him full of Love. Sincerity and honesty can Love felt in the dim light of William's eyes.
"Will you come back to me Love?"
Love nodded, but at once the storm hit his chest again to make him feel endless solace again. Silent love. Really, he doesn't know what to do.
Love is in a dilemma. Whether to refuse or accept, both are equally heavy choices. Not to mention that his heart was still heavy to accept that the man he loved so much that caused his mother to die. Disappointment and pain are still embedded in the recesses of Love.
"Love," call Hanum, gently.
"Bec ... Yes Ma," Love stutters.
"Everyone is waiting for your answer."
"Let him rest first. You all better get out, we'll talk about this again later huh," Trainer interjected.
"Yes, we're going out. Papa and this extended family hold great hope in your love. Now you should rest first, while waiting for a decision from the doctor whether you have been allowed to go home or not" said Sultan.
Arya walks after her son, while William looks reluctant to leave the room. William's eyes have always been on love.
After making sure no men were left there, Hanum hurriedly locked the door. The woman sat near Love and her mother-in-law.
"Oma knows what you are feeling right now Dear, therefore Oma has a suggestion," said Ratih.
"Mami mean?" Ask Hanum.
"Mommy has Han's plan" said Ratih. The old woman turned to look at Love. "Listen to Oma well Love. You must avenge William's actions, the man cannot be left alone."
"I mean Oma?" Love does not understand what Ratih says.
"Oma knows you love William so much, don't you? It's just that the pain and disappointment that you feel is so deep and it makes you no longer able to trust William" said Ratih.
Diversity of Love is enough to answer the questions of Ratih.
"Oma has a solution to this problem."
"What is Oma?"
"Will Oma tell me if you believe in Oma."
Hanum silently listened to the conversation of the two women before him.
"Do you believe in Oma?" Ask Ratih.
"Yes Oma, I believe," replied Love, steady.
"Let's run this plan. We make William regret and teach him a lesson" Ratih said. A sly grin formed on his face that began to wrinkle.
