"So you still don't want to come in?"
The high-pitched voice of a woman still echoed there, the sharp eyes of Ratih like an eagle preparing to pounce on its prey.
"Don't force the Sultan, Mi," whined the Sultan.
"Well, if that's what you want!"
Somehow the Sultan still could not calm down, the words that came out of his mother's mouth was not a sign that the woman had softened. On the contrary, the Sultan had to be more vigilant because it could be that Ratih was preparing something even more frightening to make it inside, he said, to the room where Hanum was feeling tremendous pain for the sake of giving birth to his baby.
"Mommy, will never allow you to see your child and wife once Hanum gives birth later."
Like hearing lightning struck in broad daylight, the Sultan gasped as he listened to his mother again.
Right, just now the man was inward and with a blink of an eye Ratih gave an ultimatum.
Horrified, that was all that was now in the Sultan's mind.
While Ratih was still standing in place, the middle-aged woman who still remained beautiful at her current age, continued to stare at her son's face. A smile was clearly drawn on his face, this time it definitely worked, he thought.
"God, Master. Are you gonna stand there?"
Doctor Sarah showed up.
"You're going to help me with my daughter-in-law's delivery, Doc?" ask Ratih.
"Yes, ma'am" replied Sarah's doctor, looking down. The woman then turned to look at the Sultan. "Your wife is already opening seven, just a few minutes away your baby will be born, Mister. Why are you still here?"
"Mi," whined Sultan while holding his mother's hand, hoping that Ratih would enter to replace him.
"Mami said it from the beginning, this is what will happen if Hanum gives birth in a normal way, Mami knows you are not hearty, but Mami also did not expect your reaction will be excessive like this. His condition was weak, why did he not choose to be caesarean" said Ratih.
"I've explained it to them many times, ma'am. But Miss Hanum insists on giving birth normally."
"Mami heard it for yourself, so don't keep scolding me," whined the Sultan, again.
"Doctor, the patient's already had a nine opening. Come inside!"
A nurse asked Sarah's doctor to immediately enter the delivery room.
The sultan roared, his crying was already unbearable.
"Why are you crying? Your wife is waiting for you inside, come on in, please" Arya said.
This time the man felt the need to speak up, he understood very well what the only boy was feeling.
"Cp ...,"
Like a child who complains to his father, Sultan hugs Arya's body while crying.
"It's natural that you don't feel the heart when you see your wife in pain because that's a sign that you love her so much but as a good husband, shouldn't you always be by her side? As you promised when you married her, you will continue to be together under any circumstances. So fulfill your duty as her husband, accompany Hanum. It feels so happy when we are the first to see the face of our own child. He's your flesh and blood, Papi sure once you've been waiting for his presence for a long time, would you be willing if the first person to see your son's face is Mami?" arya said, trying to continue to persuade the Sultan.
With a heavy heart the Sultan was forced to break away from his father's arms, what the man said touched his heart.
"Will you cry? How much longer are you gonna stay here, waiting for that baby to come out without a father. All right, Mami's gonna come in."
Ratih had just walked two steps until the Sultan blocked the woman's hand.
"I am the most entitled to it" he said, wiping away the remains of tears still soaking his cheeks.
"So, Mami's son," praised Ratih.
The sultan followed Sarah and the nurse into the delivery room.
"Oom Arya is great" praised Adam, giving him two thumbs.
"Know that, since just now Oom persuaded him, Aunt Ratih to sweat so hard to persuade the Sultan," added Raka.
And their laughter broke out, they did not expect to see the Sultan from a different side.
Sultan continued to throw his face to the side, he did not dare to just look at his wife who is currently still groaning in pain. Wiping off Hanum's sweat he did without even looking at it.
The Sultan's body trembled violently while Hanum clutched his arm tightly, his heart seemed to stop beating as Hanum shouted. She could still hear clearly when Sarah's doctor gave her advice on when Hanum should push.
Hanum was still trying to get the baby out in her stomach, the girl kept calling her husband's name while straining. The Sultan resigned only when Hanum made his arm as a handle. Sometimes he closed his eyes followed by falling tears.
Is it like giving birth?
The Sultan's body froze as soon as the man heard the first cry of his newborn baby. He ventured to look down and sure enough, he saw Sarah's doctor give the tiny baby still covered in blood to the nurse to be cleaned immediately. There was a slight sigh of relief but not yet fully anxiety left in her, there was still one more baby that Hanum had to take out.
Truthfully the Sultan had been weak, his strength had been reduced considering not only Hanum alone who struggled, himself as well.
After ten minutes the cry of the second baby was heard, for the first time since he entered the delivery room, the Sultan ventured to look at his wife's face.
The beautiful face that was usually always framed with a charming smile now looks pale with sweat mixed with tears that wet it.
"Thank you" the Sultan whispered, peeping over Hanum's head repeatedly. "You're the amazing woman I've met in this world after Mami" she said, sobbing.
Sultan was stunned, his eyes could not be separated from the face of his wife who was currently looking at him gently. His lips that were slightly blue shook to say something then the Sultan whispered again.
"Don't say anything because this is my time to tell you something. I'm thankful that God punishes me, He binds my heart only to you. And I always ask, suffice my provision with only one wife. Thank you for all your sacrifices during your life with me, thank you for your struggle to bring my heart into the world. Thank you for everything" racau Sultan. Tears continued to flow as if they were reluctant to stop.
The sultan smiled in his tears, faintly the man looked at Hanum's lips curving upwards.
"Don't cry" said Hanum.
"No, it's the cry of happiness and you're the one who made me cry like this."
The Sultan kissed his wife again.
After a heartwarming moment that was so draining of emotions and tears, Sarah's doctor asked the Sultan to come out of the room. She needs to give Hanum follow-up action after which she will move Hanum as well as her two babies in the recovery room.
With gontai steps the Sultan walked towards the crowd of people who were currently waiting for his arrival.
"That's Sultan, Auntie!" adam shouted as soon as he saw the Sultan coming out of the maternity room.
Suddenly all the people who were there immediately stared at the Sultan who was walking closer.
Burhan got up from his seat, impatiently waiting for news of Hanum and his babies from his grandson's mouth.
"Mommy," the Sultan hugged the body of the woman who had given birth to him.
"Why are you crying? Did something happen?" cecar Ratih's.
Sultan shakes.
"What's wrong? Did something happen?" ask me again.
And instead of answering the Sultan even more crying.
"Basin' bad boy! Tell me what's up?" exclaim Burhan.
Ratih felt he was getting heavier to support the Sultan's body and just as he touched the Sultan's shoulder, his son immediately fell drooping.
"Did he faint?" ask Burhan.
"Yes, Dad. Papi hurry please help the Sultan," said Ratih, panicking.
.
Inside the recovery room, Hanum continued to develop a smile on her lips. The girl was moved to see her baby who was currently in her grandfather's arms while the other baby was being carried by Arya, the baby's grandfather.
The sultan who had come to his senses just sat quietly beside his wife's bed.
"Ah, why is your baby so handsome," continued Adam who was in the midst of a different generation of men who were holding the little angel.
"Of course, his father was handsome like this when my son was ugly" said the Sultan.
"His father is handsome, as well as timid," seloroh Raka.
"Yes, just wait for the wife to give birth until she faints" Adam sneered.
"You're talking about my son's good looks, right? Why even widen everywhere," Sultan murmured.
"Everything your friend says is true, so why are you angry!" burhan Sentak.
The sultan laughed when he saw his two friends laughing because they got a justification from his grandfather.
"Oh yeah, have you prepared names for these two little babies?" arya asked without taking her eyes off her grandson's face.
The man was truly happy for having become a grandfather.
"I have already prepared the name and Hanum has agreed to the name" the Sultan replied.
"So what's my great-grandson's name? Just be careful if you dare to give just any name to these two little angels" said Burhan.
"Grandpa, take it easy, the name I've prepared is definitely a beautiful name."
"So what's his name? Say it!" burhan was impatient.
"The first born baby I named William Raka Chandra Pradipta, William means a strong leader, Raka means brother in Javanese, Chandra Pradipta her following the family name. I'm afraid grandfather will kill me if I don't put our surname on the line" Sultan's claw was accompanied by a crisp smile.
"Good name" praised Ratih.
"Who was the second baby named?" Arya asked.
"The second baby I named Willmar Rayi Chandra Pradipta." The sultan smiled.
"What means?" asked Raka curiously.
"Willmar means firm and famous, Rayi means sister, still in Javanese language as well."
"Unbelievably, great-grandfather will be very happy to see you guys grow up" Burhan said, looking at the still-asleep baby's face in his arms.
They also talked to each other until it did not feel the night was getting late.
Adam and Raka and their partners decided to go home.
"Once again survived, finally we all officially bear the title of father," said Adam while embracing the Sultan.
"I will learn a lot from you, I will continue to learn how to be a good father like you" the Sultan replied.
"Congratulations, my Tom Jerry, between the three of us you're the only one who has a baby boy. Oh yeah, give me royalties too because you pinned my name on your first child's name" Raka said.
"It can be arranged" replied the Sultan.
Adam and Ajeng also Raka and Disha also took turns to greet a large family that was being overwhelmed with happiness due to the arrival of new family members.
Shortly before leaving, Adam again approached his friend and whispered something that made the Sultan's face red.
"Remember, after this you must fast for six months" Adam said.
"What's? Does it have to be that long?" pekik Sultan's.
Instead of answering, Adam and Raka just left him with a sly smile. Even before closing the door, Adam had blinked one eye while opening his mouth as if saying, 'remember, fasting six months' and it successfully made the Sultan inflamed.
