13: Like Papa

Claudia came out of the house with her luggage containing clothes and other items. The driver quickly approached her.

"Young Miss let me take her. Thank God, because finally Young Miss wants to go back home. We always knew that." The driver said as he picked up Claudia's luggage and put her in the car.

After a 1-hour drive, the car finally entered Adam's yard. A security guard lowered his head when he saw the car Claudia was riding in through the gate. Claudia rolled her lazy eyes, she did not like being treated as the wife of the man.

The car stopped right in front of the house. Claudia looked around the house from inside the car then sighed. He closed his eyes for a moment then took a deep breath.

Claudia got out of the car, she bit her lips to hold back her anger. He doesn't want any of this. He never wanted to stay in this house, but today here he is.

"Young Miss, you finally came here. Comein. Let's go in through here." Said a servant who opened the door with a happy face.

Claudia walked into the house and the first thing she saw was the man wearing a black t-shirt and shorts with both his hands in his pants pocket. Claudia was trying to hold back the emotion that wanted to explode from her head. But he chose to remain silent. All the servants who were in the house came out from every corner to meet Claudia and bowed politely before her.

Everyone seemed to be fascinated by the presence of Claudia who had turned into more mature after 2 years. They were very happy because the two couples were finally able to live together again.

"Come, she must be exhausted. Quickly take her to her room." Tell Adam to walk closer to Claudia.

Claudia kept silent. Today he felt so tired and did not want more trouble. Today he was too tired, both physically and mentally.

Adam walked over to Claudia and hugged her. Claudia did not move in the slightest she chose to be quiet. Adam whispered in his ear.

"Welcome to Miss Claudia Wijaya's house. This house has been waiting for you for so long, so welcome back." Adam Say.

Claudia did not feel the slightest bit of warmth from the welcome Adam said. For him, living in this house is only limited to launching his desire to divorce. So it only took 3 months and after that he was able to leave this house immediately and live freely.

Adam went back to his room and smiled looking at his wallpaper.

"You're so fragrant. My God, how can I control myself for these 3 months. I don't think I'll hold it." Adam smiled and closed his eyes trying to sleep.

Adam came out of the room wearing his casual clothes. All the servants who were preparing breakfast looked surprised because for the first time they saw the way their Young Master dressed like that, because usually Adam always used formal clothes in the form of suits.

Adam came to the dining table.

"Wait for Nila, I'll be right back." Adam forbade his servant to prepare breakfast on a plate.

Adam rushed back upstairs to Claudia's room.

Claudia fell asleep like a dead person in her room. As Adam walked into his room, his lips carved a smile. Adam touched Claudia's cheek with the back of his hand. He then kissed Claudia's cheek gently.

"Good morning dear." Adam said in a quiet voice.

Adam then walked towards the window and opened the curtain that made sunlight enter Claudia's room and shone on her face, then make the girl rotate her body because of the glare by the sunlight that feels piercing eyes.

Adam shook his head at seeing Claudia who never woke up. He then played the music aloud from his phone, and put it next to Claudia's ear.

"Damn it! Who would dare to play music this loud?" Shouted Claudia who jumped from the top of her bed.

Claudia lalu melihat ke arah seorang pria yang berdiri dengan melipat tangan di dada melihat ke arahnya. Claudia awalnya bingung dengan apa yang terjadi dan akhirnya ia menyadari bahwa dirinya tidak lagi berada di dalam kamarnya yang sebenarnya melainkan berada di rumah Adam. Seluruh tubuh Claudia menjadi lemas.

"What's this?" Ask Claudia.

"Now it's 8am and as a student who wants to improve his grades, you shouldn't wake up late. And as you've already agreed, that from tomorrow you'll wake up at 6am then jog with me then at 8am you'll have to sit at the dinner table to have breakfast with me." Adam said trying to explain to Claudia who looked still sleepy and yawned.

Adam tried to hold back the laughter of seeing Claudia's behavior that he thought was funny.

But, even Claudia herself was laughing hysterically. He even held his stomach while rolling on the bed.

Adam himself, did not react in the slightest. He even stood still with his hands folded in his chest and looked at Claudia, waiting for her to stop laughing.

"Well 6 in the morning? Hahaha is that right? I never knew how it looked and what the morning atmosphere was like at 6. And that jog problem, heh did you forget, that I am a good runner." Claudia said arrogantly.

Adam raised his eyebrows to look at Claudia who still looked arrogant.

"Stop being a child. You must forget everything that happened in your past and here, for the next three months you must obey everything I say from today on. If you haven't had time to read all the documents you signed, then read them later so you can understand them." Adam said firmly.

Adam looked at Claudia sharply.

"Now, be prepared for breakfast within 10 minutes." Adam's orders before he exits Claudia's room.

Claudia was getting angry at this moment.

"The bastard dared to rule me. I'lli'll.... Aarrggh.... Relax Claudia, don't forget you need a divorce signature from her. Stay calm." Claudia said as she took a deep breath.

Claudia came out of the bathroom, and came closer to the closet to change her clothes. However, he was confused because there was none of his clothes. As he remembered, he had already brought his clothes from home last night.

Claudia wanted to ask the waiter, but she was running out of time. He should be at the dinner table within two minutes. So Claudia took careless clothes for her to wear.

Claudia came down from the top floor, and found Adam looking busy with his tablet. While at his side stood a servant who was ready to follow his orders. Claudia just realized that the man who was her husband status today appeared casual. Wearing a black shirt that makes the sleeves up to his elbows clearly visible, combined with shorts that are also black.

For the first time Claudia saw the man not in a formal suit.

Adam stopped looking at his tablet when he noticed the presence of Claudia standing in front of him. Claudia looks so adorable, because she wears a shirt that is twice the size of her body size and red. Claudia never wore brightly colored clothes, so Adam threw all the clothes Claudia had brought from home into the trash can. Where all the clothes were predominantly black, dark ash, and other dark colors.

Adam changes all of Claudia's clothes with clothes that look colored and fit better with her young age. Some clothes look adorable, some look elegant and some look sexy. And by looking at Claudia who stood before him with an adorable look, made Adam feel proud of himself, but Adam still tried to resist the smile of pride to come out.

Adam looked at Claudia who was standing awkwardly and some distance away from the dining table. He then gestured with his eyes for Claudia to sit down.

Claudia sat down, but...

"Listen sir, I'm not used to breakfast in the morning. My stomach is full, hmmm it seems. I'll have breakfast at the campus cafeteria later. I'm late for college." Claudia said calmly without the slightest anger and then was about to stand up from her seat, then....

"Sit down." Tell Adam."Eat what is served. I hate people who waste and disrespect food. And you can't eat just any unhealthy food other than those made directly by the chef in this house, starting today. Because it will all be good for health and also your learning. So, sit down and enjoy your breakfast. Jono's a good cook, you won't regret tasting the food he made." Adam said.

Claudia rolled her eyes lazily.

'Why is he acting like a father and treating me like a child? Should I call him Om?' claudia thought to herself.

Claudia then bit the pancake presented in front of her into her mouth. He couldn't lie that the pancakes were delicious. Then he realized that the waiter was pouring chocolate milk for him which made his eyes sparkle.

Claudia really likes it. She became very happy after getting that chocolate milk. And without realizing that someone had been looking at him with the corner of his lips that held a smile.

After breakfast, Claudia got up and passed to put on shoes rushing off to go to college. He was about to get out when Adam stopped him.

"Wait first. Where are you going? Going to the park?" Adam asked that made Claudia wonder.

Claudia stood in front of Adam.

"Pilaa...." Adam Shouted.

And shortly after, the woman named Nila came with a backpack and gave it to Claudia who immediately opened the bag.

There's a tablet, a notebook, some notebooks, a small bag of stationery, a lunch box and a small wallet contained cash and some large fractional pieces and the last two boxes of chocolate milk.

Claudia looked at Adam with an open mouth and furrowed brows.

"This is how a student should fill a bag. Your credit card has been blocked, as has your late Papa. You'll get pocket money every day, you'll bring lunch every day, and I'll check your notebook every day as long as you're diligent in writing. Oh yeah, I'll take you to college every day and David's gonna pick you up when you get home from college." Adam said at length.

Claudia stood straight before Adam and looked at him sharply.

"Do I look like a child to you? I'm not going to college like this. I'm not a freshman in elementary school. And how dare you block my card. I didn't use the card you gave me." Claudia said with an angry face then dropped herself on the sofa violently, sitting with folded arms looking at Adam sharply.

Adam asks Nila to leave them alone. He then sat on the sofa opposite Claudia and only blocked the table.

"I'm not going to college like this. Wearing strange clothes, carrying a bag containing many books and carrying lunch. I have to go to college with you. I won't go with you." Claudia pointed to Adam.

Adam just shut up and let Claudia talk.

"What my friends will say later. They'll think you're my sugar daddy. Even in a dream they would never be able to imagine if you were...." Claudia stopped her words. "I'm not going with you." Further again.

"Oh, so you know what a sugar daddy is? Hmmmm your brain is watered down too. I-i understand. Hmmm, we should do something about it." Adam said the last thing to himself. "By the way, if you don't want any of this, you can end this contract." Adam Say.

Claudia's jaw hardened, she knew canceling the contract meant no divorce. So he stood up and picked up the backpack he had prepared for him and walked out.

Adam followed him from behind with a triumphant smile.

The sound of the car sounded so slow. But when the car stops right in front of the campus, it makes everyone look in their direction. The window of the car was black, making everyone unable to see who was driving Claudia. But all the sights and whispers that were heard made Claudia realize that she will be the subject of conversation for a long time, at least in the next three months, because Adam will continue to take her to campus.

Claudia looked at Adam with eyes full of anger, she then got out of the car and threw the door hard.

Adam could also hear clearly from inside the car that people were out there gossiping about Claudia. They also continued to look at Claudia while getting out of the car. Some of them gossiped badly about Claudia, some sneered at her, and some even censured her.

Claudia herself did not care about the strange views of others who saw her wearing everything she was wearing. He arrived at the place where his friends were. They all also looked surprised at Claudia's appearance.

"Di, are you possessed? What's wrong with you?" Ask Rose.

"You look adorable in red." Diana.

"Bag and all.... Hmmm I understand." Say the other.

But, Endra immediately pulled Claudia away from the others.

"Di, what's with all this? Where have you been? Last night I went to your house to see you but you weren't there. And the maid in your house said that you moved into the Young Master's house. Who is the Young Master? And that car? There are only three people in this country who have cars like that. The first is a rich actor, the second is a car collector who is indeed a very rich man and the last is Adam Wijaya. The actor is now overseas, the car collector is also hunting cars in Italy. And the last person who makes a lot of sense is Adam Wijaya. Is he yours?" Ask Endra at length.

"Sugar daddy huh? Is that what you want to hear from me?" Ask Claudia.

Claudia then placed her hand on Endra's neck, gently embracing him. Endra looked at Claudia with a guilty feeling.

"Trust me, I didn't do anything wrong, or immoral. I can't say anything more now. But I want you to be able to trust me." Claudia.

Endra hugged Claudia tightly.

"I'm sorry. I'm just worried about you. To your safety, and that night..."

"Nothing happened last night I was just frustrated because the man was always having issues about the kiss I had on him in the hotel lobby that night. So I returned it because of heartache. But everything went too far and became more and more runny to bring us into that room, but in that room also nothing happened. You believe me, don't you? I can't do such a lowly thing." Claudia hugged Endra.

Claudia also eventually explains to Ros and Diana and her other friends that she switched faculties this year. His friends did not ask why, what, why and how. That's how they have been all along. They never judge each other. And never asked for any explanation. Because that is what makes Claudia feel happy and at home friends with them.

A little while later lunch time came, if he rushed to the cafeteria with his lunch box because the money given by Adam was not enough to buy food. Claudia was so upset but seeing the food inside the lunch box made her happy. There is white rice, kimchi, fried chicken, and a few pieces of fresh vegetables.

The lunch Claudia brought looked like food from a restaurant. Even his friends loved the taste of the food. Endra became happy because wherever he was at the moment he was convinced that if he could live well because that person could make him change for the better like wearing colored clothes, prepared his lunch and even drove him to campus.

They were enjoying the meal when Claudia suddenly got a phone call.

Claudia rolled her lazy eye as she saw who called her.

Claudia: "What else now?" Claudia asked annoyed.

Adam: "Are you enjoying your lunch?"

It would be a lie if Claudia didn't feel anything when Adam asked her. That feeling Claudia herself was unable to explain what it meant.

Claudia: "I gave it to my friends."

Adam: "Good, at least you didn't waste the food. By the way I've called the campus and asked about you they said that you don't have class after this, then I'll pick you up within 1 hour."

Claudia: "What? Wh why? I already have plans with my friends. I'll be back by the time I get home from college as usual. You can ask David to pick me up later."

Adam: "Yes I know but my job is done in the office. And I have one important thing I want to do. I need you to come with me. So finish your lunch. Have fun with your friends I'll be there to pick you up, 2pm."
