Return to Arista Company (Chapter 73)

Everything is now more peaceful. No more bad news about the Setyawan family. Although at first, the day Arnold was sentenced to 20 years, the headlines in the city's daily newspaper all told him about it.

I actually feel sorry for the fate of Arnold, especially for Viona who must be pregnant alone. But, as Mama told me. 'What we sow, that's what we'll reap.'

This morning, like a few days before. I decided to go to the playground to check the work of my employees. Because there's no work I can do other than that. My mom won't let me work in the kitchen either. Everything was left to a house assistant. My job is to prepare everything my husband needs.

Very awkward because it does not do anything other than preparing Andreas' office clothes and other small needs. But, there's nothing I can do. Because once you've spoken, there's nothing more to argue about.

This morning, I had prepared a navy shirt and suit for Andreas. He who finished bathing came out and put on his clothes. As usual, he would always ask me to help him put on his tie. Because of my short body, it made Andreas provide a special bench that I could ride on to reach his tie.

"Come on, it's noon. You should go to the office immediately. You'll be late." I said after breaking away from her from her embrace.

"Prepare. You're coming with me today."

"Where?" I'm confused. "To office?"

Andreas nodded then put on his shoes.

"For what?" My toot.

"Now, don't ask too much. Now change your clothes. I'll wait for you downstairs." Reply Arnold and leave me pensive.

'Why should I come to his office?'

Although still in a state of confusion, I still follow Andreas' orders. The dress I was wearing now I'm changing into a formal dress. I haven't worn office clothes like this for a long time. As I recall the last time I wore it was before I gave up all of Arista's company to Arnold.

After changing clothes, I walked downstairs. Andreas was waiting for me in the dining room with Mama. While Angelica has not been home for two days because she is carrying out fieldwork. As he told me, he got a job to do fieldwork outside the city.

"Come fast, finish your breakfast. We have to leave soon." Andreas's Word.

"Velicia where are you going? Does he want to come to the office with you?" Ask Mama.

Andreas just nodded while feeding his food. After finishing breakfast, the two of us rushed to the office. At first I thought Andreas would take me to his office. Turns out he took me to Arista's company. Andreas' car stopped in front of the company entrance.

Andreas opened the door for me and asked me to come down.

"Let's get down, we're there." Andreas Said.

"Why are we here?" I'm confused.

"Come down first, I'll explain everything later." Answer Andreas.

My legs felt trembling as I stepped into this company I hadn't been in for a long time. All the memories of the first time I had to take on the responsibility of being CEO at the age of 15. One year after the departure of Mama and Papa, I can only focus on carrying out the task.

It turned out that all the employees working in this company stood up to welcome me. They smiled and greeted me kindly. The faces were still the same as before I left.

"Welcome back to Velicia...." Greet them.

At the end of the line of employees, stood Dara, my secretary who was also still working here. He hugged me tightly. Dara has always been like a sister to me. I didn't think Arnold was still keeping all the employees I used to hire.

I turned to look at Andreas questioningly. He smiled and took my hand into the elevator. While Dara was heard announcing something to other employees before the elevator door closed. I can't hear anything he's saying.

"What is this really about?" My toot.

"From today, you can work here again to take care of Arista's company." Answer Andreas.

"How can you?"

"I took care of everything a few days ago." Reply Andreas. "I have taken care of all his administration. Regarding Papa's company as well, everything is clear from the will that Papa left. Papa actually gave me 30 percent of Setyawan's shares. The rest you know for yourself, for Papa's favorite son who is now in prison." Andreas smiled a little.

Of course, Great Lord Setyawan must have given Arnold a bigger share. But, the question is how can Andreas take care of Arista's company until it returns to my hands again.

"Regarding this company, I've already met Arnold. He's signed all the company transfer files in your name. As for Setyawan's company he handed over the management to me." Andreas Said.

'Has Arnold changed?' my thinking.

"Why?" Ask Andreas. He seemed to realize that I was daydreaming. "Not think too much. Now focus on continuing this company. I have to go now. There's still work to be done. Oh yes, later I will send you food, do not forget after that take your medicine. I'll come back to pick you up when I get home from work. These are all corporate transfer files in your name. I'm leaving, baby. I love you." Andreas said as he kissed my forehead.

I did not have time to answer, Andreas has come out of the room that is now back into my room.

Shortly after Andreas left, the door came back on tap. Dara walked in.

"What's wrong?" I asked as I opened the document that Andreas had given me earlier.

"There's someone who wants to meet the Boss." Answer Dara.

"Who?" I scrunched my forehead.

"I've never seen him here before. So I asked him to wait outside. If it's not wrong, she said her name was Viona and claimed to be the Boss' friend."

'Viona's? What's he gonna do here?'

"Send him in." My speech.

Dara had not had time to call Viona, in fact she had already entered by breaking the door.

"Bad you're Velicia. After I got me pregnant without Arnold. Now you're taking what's supposed to be mine." Shouted Viona.

"Please keep your talk..." I immediately raised my hand to cut Dara's words standing before Viona.

"What do you mean?" I asked quietly.

"You don't have to pretend to be stupid. This company should be mine. Because this company was previously owned by Arnold. And I'm pregnant with Arnold's child, so I deserve everything." Viona.

I chose silence and listened to Viona's chatter.

"As a fellow woman you should understand my distress. You should at least be kind to me because I've helped you escape Arnold's crib before." Viona said again.

"Before, I thanked you for helping me that day. But none of this has anything to do with me. I just take back what was mine from the beginning. If you want to protest, why don't you ask Arnold. I took back this company, because Arnold himself gave it to me." I explained to Viona.

"I don't believe you. You must be lying. You must've made a sneaky plan to get Arnold to hand over the company to you again." Shouted Viona.

"You can look at this document if you don't believe it. Look, it's Arnold's signature." I said, showing Arnold's signature.

"I don't believe you. You're a sly woman. You're lying, you are....."

"Please keep your talk. Please get out of here, before I call the security guard to expel you." Dara said to Viona while pulling her out.
