90 Days Pursuing My Husband's Love

90 Days Pursuing My Husband's Love
Persuading Hansen (Chapter 24)

Here I am now. In a small village I had visited with Merry some time ago. I'm going to visit Hansen.

The car my driver was driving stopped right in front of the hut Hansen and his grandmother lived in. Not getting out of the car, I saw Hansen sitting on the porch with his grandmother. The two of them seemed to be chatting lightly. Seen very clearly, there was laughter adorning Hansen's lips.

Ah, Hansen's. If you could laugh and smile like that in front of Merry. I'm sure that girl will be very happy.

I took my foot to walk into the yard of the house Hansen lived in. I could see the look on his face that was surprised to see me coming.

"Good afternoon, Hansen." Greet me kindly.

"Eeh, Miss Velicia right?" Ask Grandma Hansen whom I only answered with a nod and a smile.

I did not think he still remembered me with his age which is said to be old. We only met once.

"Well, do you remember me?"

"Of course Grandma remembered. You are a very beautiful and kind girl. So, where's your old friend Hansen's girlfriend?"

Suddenly I glanced at the cold-looking Hansen sitting beside the grandmother.

"That's why I came here, Grandma. I want to talk to Hansen about his girlfriend." My speech.

"Surely sa...."

"He's not my girlfriend." Hansen's face was very angry.

The Grandmother tried to calm herself by rubbing the man's back repeatedly.

"Then Grandma went inside first. Make you drink."

"No need Grandma. Don't bother."

"You're a guest at Grandma's. So naturally, Grandma as a homeowner must provide drinks for guests. All right, you two can chat when Grandma's gone."

Hansen's grandmother, whose hair was white, walked into the house. While Hansen, still revealed his cold expression.

"Hansen me...."

"If your purpose came here to ask me to go back to Merry. You better forget it. Because I'll never come back to her." Hansen interrupted my words.

"So right my guess and Merry's. All this time you've been deliberately forgetting memories to forget about Merry."

I'm so upset, why would Hansen pretend to be amnesiac.

"It's none of your business." Hansen's reply was cynical.

"Of course it's my business, because Merry's my best friend." My voice raised a little because I was annoyed by Hansen's attitude.

"Hansen listen to me. I didn't come here because of Merry's request. But this is my own initiative. I just can't bear to see my best friend suffer for the rest of his life just thinking about you. Merry that...."

"That's not my problem. You better just go home." Hansen won't listen to me.

This guy really makes me lose my temper.

"I'm sorry for my current talk Hansen. But if I may say, you really are b*doh. With your condition like this you should be grateful that Merry still loves and even wants to accept your shortcomings. Try to think for yourself, is there still another woman who wants to spend the rest of her life with a man with special needs like yourself. Once again sorry for my stupidity Hansen. But, it looks like there won't be a woman who will want to live with you other than Merry." I said at length.

"You don't understand. Precisely because this is what makes me not want to go back to Merry. Because I'm just gonna trouble him. I will only make it bother if I have to take care of me like this. I really love Merry. But I don't want him to spend the rest of his life just taking care of myself who can't do anything. Merry deserves a much better man than me." Hansen said with his tears flowing.

From the beginning I understood very well why Hansen was deliberately amnesiac. Yeah, because this is why. Hansen didn't want to put a burden on Merry. But, what can I do. While Merry himself has been willing since the first to accept whatever the circumstances of Hansen.

"Honestly, as a friend of Merry at first I also have advised him to think more maturely to accept you. Because, if he lives with you, he will take care of you. But do you know, Merry doesn't care at all. You know for yourself how Merry is. Once he is determined, he will defend it."

Hansen was silent, he lowered his head and covered his face.

"I'm ashamed of my condition...." Isaac Hansen.

"Hansen, Merry loves you so much. In the years since you disappeared, Merry has never again opened her heart to another man. He loves only you, and only you. And ironically, now he's in prison, and again, it's all because of you." My speech.

"In jail! Because me! How....."

I cut off Hansen's remark, glancing at his worried-turned-face.

"What?" Hansen's face became more and more unkempt.

"Yes. Merry was upset and immediately hit the woman with his car." My speech.

"How is he doing now?" Hansen asked again.

"As I said before. He is now in prison and will soon be free. And I hope when he's free he'll see you. And you're willing to accompany her days."

"But...."

"I don't want to hear the word but. The point is you have to." My speech.

After a long conversation. I finally managed to persuade Hansen to go back to Merry.

"I'll go home first. Later on the day of Merry's freedom, I'll ask my chauffeur to come and get you"

After a long and exhausting journey home, I finally arrived at Villa. My body is so weak, I want to rest for a while by closing my eyes.

When I woke up from sleep, I realized that I was in a hospital room.

Since when have I been here?

For a moment I realized a burly hand was holding tightly to my hand with the position of his head tilted and sleeping.

"Jack!" Excruciate.

Jack woke up and smiled.

"You're finally conscious too." Jack.

"Where are you actually? Why am I suddenly here?"

"I'll take you to go for treatment. Last night Ms. Sumi reported to me about your increasingly apprehensive condition. So I'll take you today when the sun comes up.

"Slow Jack, aren't I going to die in 7 days? What else can we do."

"I've found a doctor who will operate on you. Although the probability of recovery is only 0.01 percent. But what's wrong with trying than not." Said Jack.

'Operation? All right, I'll try. But if there's a bad chance, then I'm the most important thing is that my lawyer will leave everything to Arnold. The man I love so much.'

"I agree. But I have one condition." I said to Jack.

"You're this. Tell me quickly." Reply Jack.

"I want you to go to jail. Merry will be free in a few days. Tell him to announce my death the day I'm going to carry out the operation." My speech.

"Are you crazy." Jack yelled at me.

"No Jack. This time please stop me. I'm just pessimistic that the operation will go smoothly. So whatever happens, I want Merry to announce my death. If I can live, I can come back later to start."

Jack seemed to think and finally agreed to my request..

Seriate....
