90 Days Pursuing My Husband's Love

90 Days Pursuing My Husband's Love
The Setyawan Family (Chapter 46)

Andreas' car finally stopped in front of the house at exactly seven p.m. I asked Andreas to stop by. At first I thought Andreas refused, it turns out he happily got out of the car and brought all kinds of souvenirs given by his family from the village into the house.

"You take a shower first. I'll cook you dinner." Andreas Said.

"No. no. I should have prepared the food." Refuse me.

"Velicia darling. Soon you will be my wife. So get used to what I'm doing right now." Reply Andreas

I smiled, then walked upstairs to wash away my sticky body from sweat.

1 Hour later, I came out of the room after I finished taking a shower and changed clothes. I'm wearing dark blue sleeping pajamas. For the first time I performed in front of a man without make up. In the past, when I was with Arnold, I never showed my innocent face. My face is always covered in make up. And for some reason in front of Andreas, I felt comfortable being myself.

I walked into the dining room, and found a table that was already full of food.

"Are you cooking all this?" I asked Andreas who was carrying drinking water from the kitchen.

Andreas stood staring, he looked at me without blinking.

"What's wrong?" I asked to be wrong.

"You look beautiful." The reply.

My cheeks are warming. Andreas then walked over to me and let me sit down.

"Sit. I've made you papeda, gohu fish, and colo-colo." Andreas Said.

I looked at the table it turned out that everything Andreas cooked was a typical Ternate food that was my favorite food when I was a child when Mama was still around.

"Try." Andreas Said.

I stared at the food called gohu fish. Gohu fish is sashimi with local wisdom. This culinary is a dish of raw fish meat that is directly eaten. Fish meat used can be from tuna or skipjack.

In the past, Mama used to make it for me. That's why I've loved sushi ever since Mama left. This time, for the first time since Mama's departure I was able to eat gohu and papeda that were so delicious.

I ate it with tears.

"Why crying?" Ask Andreas.

"thank you. This food is so delicious, it really reminds me of Mama." My answer.

Andreas smiled as he rubbed my head gently.

"Can you teach me how to cook gohu?"

"Of course." Reply Andreas. "First, the meat of the fish is diced. Then, given a squeeze of lime, mixed sauteed cayenne pepper and onion and pieces of basil and walnut. For the final touch, a hot oil flush is served." Andreas.

I nodded as I continued to enjoy the papeda and gohu of his handmade fish.

Gohu this fish has a spicy, sweet, savory, and sour taste. I then switched to a food called colo-colo. Colo-colo is a raw sambal which is also often called sambal dabu-dabu.

Andreas says to make colo-colo it is necessary to prepare shallots, limes, salt, cayenne pepper, tomatoes, and sugar.

"Cut the cayenne pepper and the red onion into thin and squeeze the lime. Mix all the ingredients together." Andreas.

Spicy, sweet, and fresh taste I feel in this sambal.

After finishing enjoying the dinner cooked by Andreas, the two of us sat in the living room to chat.

"Can I ask you something?" My toot.

"certain. Just ask. Whatever it is I'll answer it." Answer Andreas.

I wonder what really happened in the Setyawan family. Why does the Great Lord Setyawan live in the city while his wife lives in a village.

Andreas seemed to let out a long sigh and then took a sip of the coffee I made for him he was on the table.

"Mama and Papa have been divorced since I was 11." Andreas said to me which surprised me. "They decided to divorce because Mama could not be happy with her marriage. You must know what Papa's character is. Papa is a hard man, always more concerned with his work than his family. Papa rarely comes home, if you go home will be angry at Mama. I always remember, if Papa was thinking a lot, he would take it out on Mama by doing KDRT on Mama." Andreas's face changed.

"Angelica Jovanka is not the son of Papa. But the son of Mama with her husband who died a few years ago.

"W-what?" I was shocked to hear Andreas' words. "Isn't Angelica the same age as me? If Grand Master Setyawan and Mama divorced when you were 11. Shouldn't Angelica be 2 or 3?" My speech.

I'm actually embarrassed to ask Andreas that. But, I was so curious to know what really happened to their family.

"Mama and Papa were divorced when I was about 6 years old. They have separated the house but Papa still does not want to sign their divorce papers. I don't want my mom to be happy with someone else. Eventually, Mama decided to get married in series. And Angelica was born. For years, Mama raised Angelica with status that is still the wife of Papa legally state, until finally Mama can be free from ties with papa 3 years later.

Arnold and I were taken care of by Papa in town and not allowed to meet Mama. Papa educated us hard. Papa wants us to be like his workaholic self. But I chose another path. As you know I refused to continue his efforts and chose to go abroad to continue my music school. Arnold was entrusted with continuing his business. But Arnold failed and the company almost went bankrupt. Then Papa plans to make you Arnold's wife. Papa knows about our closeness so Papa took advantage of that situation for you to marry Arnold." Andreas.

'Sneaky. Great Lord Andreas is indeed very cunning.'

According to Andreas' story, his mother since the beginning of the marriage always got violence from the Great Lord Setyawan. However, her mother still survives because she remembers Andreas and Arnold who were very small. But in the end Mama Andreas relented, he could no longer face the attitude of the Great Lord Setyawan and chose to divorce.

Grand Master Setyawan agreed to divorce but, with the record of Mama Andreas should not bring his children and also not get a penny of money.

At first I thought, Mama Andreas was selfish for having to leave her children. However, while listening to Andreas' words I came to understand.

"I never blamed Mama for leaving me with Papa. Because I feel sorry for my mom too. How can Mama survive while she cannot be happy. Mama was trying to make me and Arnold happy when she wasn't. And I realized, we would never make our loved ones happy if we were not happy ourselves." Andreas Said.

"Are you happy with me?" My toot.

"I'm very happy. That's why I try to make you happy so that I can be a happier person. Iloveyou..." Andreas Said.

I smiled and hugged him tightly.

For a moment we both fell silent, letting our hearts beat together.

"It's late. I gotta go home. Not good for couples not married together until late at night. Wait a sec. We're going to formalize everything soon and there's not going to be a parting word for either of us." Andreas said as he kissed my forehead.

I smiled with happiness and hugged her again as if I didn't want to let go.

"Be careful." I said as I drove him to the front of the house.

"Come in first, and lock the door tightly. I'll just be calm." Say again.

I was silent, as if reluctant to get out of the place where I was standing. Andrew smiled and walked over to me. Andreas then held both of my cheeks and turned my face towards his face. Noah kissed my lips gently.

"I like to see your face without make up. You're so pretty." He said it again and then kissed me again.

I put my hand on her neck and kissed her back. We kissed for so long that Andreas stopped and lowered his head.

"Come in, or I won't be able to hold myself back. I love you." He said again, holding my hand towards the door.

I went inside the house, but came back out and kissed her cheek and went back in and shut the door and locked it tight.

I opened the window curtain and saw Andreas holding his cheek, then rubbed it gently with the back of his hand. Andreas then kissed the back of his hand.

'Oh my God, don't let this happiness go back.'

Seriate....
