90 Days Pursuing My Husband's Love

90 Days Pursuing My Husband's Love
Meeting the Great Family of Andreas (Chapter 45)

Here I am today....

Being in a car together with Andreas, about to visit Mama Andreas. At first I refused out of fear that Mama Andreas would not accept our relationship. But Andreas believed me, that his mother would be happy if she was happy.

I went to her Mama's house once with Arnold. But, it felt different when going with Andreas. If I used to be with Arnold, I wouldn't pay much attention to the streets we walked. With Andreas, the atmosphere was so different. His attitude so sweet makes me very happy, until I was so detailed to pay attention to the villages we passed.

The village that we passed was certainly the architecture of the houses of the population is not the same as the city. There are still simple houses on the stage. Although there are already stone houses and luxurious wooden houses. The average home stage is simple walled boards.

"My little girl, close your nose." Said Andreas while covering my nose with his left palm.

"Hey, you need to focus on driving." My words took off Andreas' hand that covered my nose.

"If not, just close the window." Declared again.

"What the hell is that? Let it open, I like fresh air." My reply.

"All right, but don't regret it." Her speech.

And begin the smell. From the smell of cattle dung scattered in the street to the smell of food.

"What's this?" I close my nose.

"I warned you. Around the village, there are many people who raise cows. They let their cows roam the streets. And as you breathed earlier, the smell of cow dung everywhere." Andreas explained with lips that held back laughter.

Maybe because I saw the expression on my face that looked weird when I smelled cow dung.

We passed through several villages, and each village presented different smells. From the first village, the smell of cow dung and food. Then the second, the smell of dried fish that is burned feels appetizing. I imagined the dried fish being burned on fire from firewood instead of on the stove.

The smell was peculiarly piercing the nose, provoking hunger. If I wasn't ashamed to visit their house, maybe I could sit down to eat.

"Why?" Ask Andreas. "Laper because it smells like fish?"

'Ah, this guy always knows what I think.'

"Do you have the science of mind reading?" My toot.

"It is not necessary to have such knowledge. Everyone who sees you now, will know that you want to eat grilled fish because of the smell of it earlier. That's proof, your saliva is dripping." Andreas laughed.

I hit him on the shoulder and made him grimace as if in pain. Though my blow will not be able to kill mosquitoes.

Entering the second village, which is smelled is the smell of fried cakes. Like the smell of fried bananas. The smell also rippled into the street. Understand their village near the streets. They adhere to a pattern of elongated settlements, following the course of a road or river.

"It looks good to have a house on the side of the road like in this village. Sitting around eating fried bananas in the afternoon befriends hot tea while on foot. Watching vehicles passing by." Andreas Said.

I laughed, meaning his nose was as sensitive as mine. We can guess that the smells were from fried bananas.

"Do you want to live in a village like this?" My toot.

"As long as it's with you, under the bridge I want to." Andrew answered, which made me laugh.

"Crocodile." My reply made Andreas laugh.

As soon as we arrived, there were already many people waiting in front of Mama Andreas' house. I was very well received by the Andreas family. Food from the area is available at the table. Andreas introduced me to his family members, his aunts and even his neighbor Mama. I was a bit clumsy too, because actually I just wanted to visit Mama Andreas and then take a walk to enjoy the natural beauty of her village. But apparently, other members of his family came to greet me.

'Ah how is this. I'm so nervous.'

Andreas held my trembling hand under the table. He looked me in the eye, as if to be calm and relaxed.

"Khem.... Khemw...." Andreas cleared his throat and made all those who were enjoying the snacks look at him.

"All thanks for being here. To my mom, thank you for inviting other families. I know, you must be wondering why I brought Velicia here. Because I haven't told Mama before that the girl I'm going to bring here is Velicia, my ex-sister-in-law." Andreas Said.

Honestly, I've been so worried. Although all his family welcomed me well, it could have been because they did not want to upset Andreas. But, actually in the depths of their hearts, must be very upset to see my arrival.

Everyone looked at each other, then laughed at the same time.

'Eh, why are they laughing?' my thinking.

Suddenly Mama Andreas held my head. I was indeed sitting flanked by him and Andreas.

"Andreas. Mama will be happy if you're happy, son. Mama and the others are just a little surprised because it turns out that the woman that you have always ignored and told lately to Mama is your own sister's ex-wife. But, Mama certainly won't stand in the way of you two. Moreover, Mama already knew that Velicia was a very good girl. So, Mama agreed to the relationship between the two of you." Said Mama Andreas who made my eyes glaze over.

"We agree too." Say to other family members at the same time.

"Thank you everyone. Since all of you have agreed, then I will say it directly. I'll marry Velicia soon." Said Andreas who made my heart beat faster.

"Waaah congratulations. Then let's celebrate with a meal at Aunt's house. Later Aunt can ask the neighbors to help cook for our big meal later." Said Aunty Andreas named Aunt Sarah.

Everyone cheered in agreement.

Even though Andreas and I don't want to trouble everyone. But, of course, we can't refuse that request. However, we asked for permission to take a walk for a while before visiting Aunt Sarah's house.

"Ma, I'm going straight to Aunt Sarah's. For a while I'd like to take Velicia around. What can?" Andreas asked his mother.

"Good, but remember. Lunch should be at Aunt Sarah's house. And don't forget to be careful. Take good care of your future mother's ghost." Mama Andreas's Message.

"Ready Ma." Said Andreas with respect.

Andreas and I walked around looking around. We also took a walk in the rice fields. The view is so beautiful. The green rice field spread wide and the atmosphere was also very calm. Some farmers seem to be cultivating their fields.

We both took the time to sit in a saung, while enjoying the beauty of the rice field. On the edge of the rice field there is a river. It was seen that some children were playing around and bathing in the river. They looked very happy, not looking the slightest bit hard on their faces. I also took Andreas down to the river and down the river bank. We, as well as the little children who were playing in the river did not care about the drizzle that came down at that time.

By noon, Andreas reminded me to stop by his aunt's house. We then went back down the rice field to go home. It turns out that Aunt Sarah's house is located right on the riverbank.

After arriving at Aunt Sarah's house, we saw the busy work done by some of her neighbors who were preparing lunch for us. Some are busy burning fish, some are frying fish, some are preparing vegetables, and more.

While they were still busy preparing for lunch, Andreas picked up a coconut from a tree growing in front of his tant house. I also enjoy coconut water with thirst. After thirst was satisfied, Andreas and I asked permission to go down to the river and play around for a while in the river. While of course documenting the beauty of the river that I could not find in the city.

I played around in the river long enough, until Andreas finally held my hand and took me because lunch was ready. We both went inside Aunt Sarah's house.

The food available is very appetizing. At the dinner table, grilled and fried fish are taken directly from the river. There is also lalap and of course sambal.

'Such wisdom.'

Moreover, the food is served sincerely by the owner of the house.

Pretty much the time we spent at Aunt Sarah's house. The day started late in the afternoon, and we said goodbye. I was given some hands by Aunt Sarah.

Andreas and I had to go back to his Mama's house, because our car was parked there. Arriving at Mama Andreas' house, it turns out there are still many packages containing some kinds of food, young coconut and also other fruits that I have to take home. I had already refused because the souvenirs from her aunt were enough, but Mama Andreas forced me to take her home.

"Ma, this is too much." My speech.

"Velicia darling. You will forever be your daughter-in-law. You were with Arnold, and now you're with Andreas. Mama from the beginning did wish you were the same Andreas, because Mama knows very well that Andreas loves you very much and you are the same. It's just that God intended something to happen to make you love the wrong person. Never mind, now there is no need to talk about the past. It's all over. Now you two get ready to shape your future. I will always wish you both the best. And one more thing, after this you have to tell Papa Setyawan to let him know about your serious relationship. So that Arnold will also be able to accept your relationship." Said the woman I always called Mama.

I hugged her tightly, Mama returned my arms and kissed me on my forehead.

Andreas and I said goodbye and left the village full of love.

"I love you..." Andreas said, kissing the back of my hand while holding the steering wheel.

"I love you too...." My reply.

Seriate.....
