Arnold's Threat (Chapter 28)

"I can forgive you, just so you can tell me Andreas' address and phone number." I said hoping Arnold could give it to me.

Arnold looked angry and walked out of my house instead. Right at the door of the house, she turned to look at me and said,

"It's better you don't forgive me right now, than I have to tell you where Andreas is."

After saying that, Arnold left my house.

I slept very well last night, very different than usual.

'Is it because I'm satisfied to see Arnold's condition like that. I don't know, obviously, I'm setting my heart to be happy.'

After I finished my morning activities with a shower and changed clothes, I rushed to the kitchen to make breakfast. Ms. Sumi I still hire, just her job is just cleaning the house.

"Oh Jack, tell me everything. Don't be so convoluted. You're just making me more curious."

"Velicia, I don't know who's behind it all. But this is about our family relationship." Reply Jack.

It was clear that Jack was breathing long.

"You're the only Arista family left. However, someone had made use of everything on behalf of the Arista family. I got information from my secretary that the Aristas started attacking the Ardana family." Continue Jack.

"What?" My words don't believe.

"Secretary reported to me that Arista company started doing something that would cause a rift between our families. My family already knew clearly that you couldn't do anything that would cause our family to be at odds. But if this matter were to be known to the media and the outsiders, the situation would be even more chaotic for Velicia. For that I ask you to find a solution. I don't want to see the Arista family and the Ardana family that our parents built for life crumble everything."

After saying that, Jack hung up the phone. I don't know why this is all happening. Arista's family and Ardana's family, Jack's family, have long been in a close relationship. In addition to family relations, we also have good relations in cooperation in the company.

"I'm at Mer's house. What the hell is it? What can I help you with?" My toot.

"I'm at the police station again. I'm...."

"What else are you doing?"

I was so worried that Merry was back to do something that would put him in trouble.

"It's not me, it's my friend Angelica Jovanka." Answer Merry.

"Angelica Jovanka's? I think I've heard that name." Thought words.

"Yes Lord Velicia. Have you forgotten your memories? Angelica is your ex-sister-in-law. She's Arnold's sister Angelica." Shouted Merry.

"God.... Why did I forget him? Alright. Wait for me there." My speech.

Angelica Jovanka is the younger sister of Arnold and Andreas. But, I don't know why he didn't use Setyawan's name behind his name. In fact, what puzzled me was that both of Arnold's parents lived in different places. If Mr. Setyawan lives in the city of Ternate, different from his wife who lives elsewhere.

I drove my car to the police station as soon as possible. Didn't know what was going on until Angelica was arrested. Hopefully not a big deal.

I arrived at the police station and immediately entered the examination room where Merry and Angelica were.

"Sister Veli...." Angelica hugged me

Merry hugged me too.

"How are you?" Ask Merry.

"I'm fine." My reply.

"Angelica is like my own family. So, I have to help her." My reply.

"Thank you, Veli." Angelica.

Actually my age and Angelica are not much different. I was only with him for a few months. However, since I was once married to her Big Brother, so she always called me with the call of Big Brother.

After doing some checks, I guaranteed myself to have Angelica released. It turns out Velicia was involved in a commotion with one of the women in a shopping place because of the fight for limited edition items.

Angelica and Merry laughed. The three of us then walked out of the interrogation room and headed for the parking lot.

"Hey how about we have lunch together. It's lunchtime." Merry.

"Come, I'll buy it." Angelica.

"May be." My reply.

Just as we were about to get in the car. The sound of someone calling Angelica's name made us turn our heads together.

'Arnold?'

No, now I can tell the difference. He must be Andreas. At first glance Andreas is very similar to Arnold. But there is a difference between the two.

Andreas has a higher body than Arnold. His haircut was also different from Arnold's. From the shape of the face, Andreas turned out to have dimples that are not owned by Arnold. His eyebrows were thicker, and the most distinguishing was the look in his eyes. If Arnold looks more naughty, then Andreas has a soothing eye highlight.

'Oh my God, why do I realize all that now.'

"Sister Andreas..." Shouts Angelica. "I've been freed by Brother Velicia. He vouch for me." Angelica.

"You are a bad girl. Have you thanked me?" Ask Andreas.

Andreas' voice sounded so soothing. Just like when I first met him.

"It's dong." Reply Angelica while writhing spoiled in Andreas' arm.

"Good boy." Andreas pinches Angelica's nose, his actions make Angelica complain of pain that even makes me smile to see their behavior.

Andreas walked over towards me. Makes my heart beat faster.

"Velicia, I'm sorry to be there. I'm gonna buy you a drink." Merry said and ran pulling Angelica away leaving me and Andreas alone.

"Hi little girl. Is this really you? Or maybe I'll meet a ghost in broad daylight?" Andreas said to me.

"If it hurts, then I'm not a ghost." My reply.

Andreas smiled, the smile I always dreamed of.

"I'm glad you're okay. And thank you for helping my naughty sister."

Somehow every word that was spoken from Andreas' mouth sounded so melodious in my ears.

"Angelica is like my own family. So I'm definitely gonna help her." My reply.

There are so many questions I want to ask him. However, it seems that the current situation is very imprecise. I need to talk somewhere else.

"Mmmm Andreas,...."

"Little girl...."

We called almost simultaneously. Our eyes clashed and immediately laughed awkwardly.

"You go first..." Andreas Said.

"You'll..." My speech.

Suddenly....

"Gee.... Whoa... Whoa.... What are you doing here with my ex-wife Andreas?"

'Arnold?'

"Arnold. We just talked. I thank him for releasing our sister." Andreas Said.

I saw Andreas' face change when Arnold arrived. Arnold looked at me with a threatening look.

'What? Wh why? Is he jealous?' my thinking.

"I hope you're not interested in the woman who was once my wife." Arnold said again.

Andreas just smiled, he patted Arnold on the shoulder.

"Little girl, excuse me. It's nice to meet you." Andreas said and left me and Arnold.

I was about to get in the car, but Arnold got in my way.

"I see you're so happy to meet your little love car." Arnold.

Honestly speaking. I'm lazy to respond to Arnold. I want to leave immediately and not deal with him anymore.

"It's none of your business. I have a right to determine my own happiness. You're not my husband anymore. We don't have any relationship anymore." My speech.

"Hahaha do you think Andreas would accept you? Don't dream too much of Velicia. Andreas will not be able to accept and love a woman who has been repeatedly slept with by his sister. You better come back to me. I'll give you a love you'll never imagine." Arnold.

It hurts, my heart hurts so much to hear what Arnold said. He was right, Andreas probably wouldn't have loved a woman who had slept with his sister. But I can still try. I just want her to know how I feel about her, whether she accepts it or not.

"No, thank you. I've had enough of the pain of being the wife of an Arnold Setyawan. I don't want to." My reply.

"Velicia, I promise I'll change. I will no longer be in contact with other women. I will only love you one. Please Velicia, accept me again. Let's go get it."

This time Arnold's face turned clear. He clasped my hand very tightly, as if he did not want to let go of me. But I won't be consumed by her sweet seduction anymore. I've decided to forget Arnold. I don't want any more.

"Arnold, sorry. Again I say, I will not come back with you." My speech.

As Arnold's face turned angry again, he pushed me closer to the car.

"I'll never let go of you Velicia. Until whenever." Arnold said while holding my chin.

Arnold tried to kiss me. I painstakingly pushed him.

"Are you crazy, this is the police station. I could've screamed for help." Threaten me.

"Please. But listen to me, if you don't want to come back to me. I'm going to destroy the Ardana family." Arnold turned around to threaten me.

So it is true, that it was he who had caused a rift in the relationship of the Arista family and the Ardana family.

"Arnold please, don't do that. Let the Ardana family calm down. Don't bother them. I gave it all to you. Please don't damage Arista's family and Ardana's family." I was trying to plead with Arnold.

"Then you should come back to me. Refer to me, and be Lady Setyawan again."

"Superficial. I can't. Please Arnold, let me go." I went back to begging Arnold.

"Cannot be. Until then, I will never let go of you. Especially until you let go with Andreas." Arnold.

I shed tears. Can't believe Arnold could do this to me.

"Aren't you the one who wanted to part with me? You want to be happy with Viona. Why are you doing all this to me now. Arnold, please let me go." My sobs.

Seeing me cry, Arnold put me in his arms.

"I'm sorry, please don't cry. I just want to be your husband again. Love yourself and never hurt you again. Please Velicia come back to me." Arnold said the more his embrace tightened up on me.

I struggled, struggling to get away from him.

"I have to beg you. Let go of me." My sobs again.

"Never will." Shouted Arnold, increasingly tightening his embrace again.

I was crying so much. It made Arnold panic, maybe he was afraid that we would get people's attention. We were in the parking lot of the police station.

'Merry, Angelica. Where're you?' my thinking.

Arnold let go of her hug because I was crying harder and harder.

"Already, already. Don't cry anymore. People will think that I hurt you." Arnold tried to wipe my tears.

"You have hurt me. You're hurting my heart." My yelling.

Just as Arnold was about to touch my face, Merry and Angelica came over. Merry hits Arnold's hand.

"Never bother Velicia again. You're no longer her husband, so you have no right to touch her." Merry said then embracing me who was still sobbing.

"Sir Arnold why else? You two are divorced. Why is Arnold bothering Velicia again." Angelica.

"Because I want her to come back to me." Reply Arnold.

"Don't dream." Merry. "Angelica please take Arnold away from here. Otherwise I'll scream."

Angelica then pulls Arnold away from me and Merry.

"Let's go." Take Merry.

We both left the parking lot of the police station in my car. While Merry's car has been brought back by one of his employees to his tea shop.
