27. Durians

On the way back home, in the back seat of Adam's car....

Adam had just finished smoking and Claudia was sitting next to him.

"Dam, please stop Erik right now. You don't have to buy that place. All this is overkill. It's not fair, I'm too young, I'm a student, it's not suitable for me to have such a place." Whining Claudia.

"I don't buy it as a gift, I know you don't like expensive gifts. I bought it as a future investment." Adam's reply was calm.

"But Dam, I don't understand anything about business. The place will go bankrupt in less than a month. Please stop all procedures."

Adam rubbed the girl's cheek with his right right, the girl sat on his left.

"You don't have to do anything. There are already the best people who will handle everything. You don't have to do anything. But just counting the profits you get at the end of the month."

Claudia was about to say something, but Adam quickly put his index finger on Claudia's lips.

"Have you eaten anything? It's already night."

Claudia was not happy with the topic of conversation that was suddenly replaced. But he still answered Adam's question.

"We had lunch and danced on the dance floor. And by nightfall we had already ordered dinner but...." Claudia's words stopped. "Are you mad at me? Did I embarrass you in front of your friends?" Claudia asked feeling guilty.

Adam pulled Claudia in his arms.

"Not at all. You didn't do anything wrong. The truth is everything you've done is right. They should all be shot. They're all the ones who've done you wrong." Adam Say.

"Then why are you saying that Endra has a bad influence on me?" Claudia asked curiously.

Adam took a breath before speaking.

"Because you're acting according to what's inside you. But he didn't. He chose not to stop you, but instead to ignite the flames of anger within you."

Claudia laughed a little.

"So, let's have dinner. What do you want to eat?"

"Ummm... I want to eat.... Aaah, I know... I want to eat durian pizza."

Adam's face suddenly lethargic.

He did not like the taste of durian pizza. But he didn't show it in front of Claudia. He took a deep breath in nervousness.

"Okay, baby, show him where the road is to where you want to go. He'll take us there." Adam pointed to the driver sitting in the steering wheel.

Shortly after, they arrived at the location. Adam got out of the car and followed his wife from behind. And when he first saw the place, he looked shocked and speechless.

It was a small cafe, located in the corner of the city.

"Waaahh I'm so happy. You know, I can finally come back here after such a long time. This place is one of my favorite places."

They went into the cafe. Adam could clearly see the happiness on his wife's face. Claudia looked smiling and skipping around a little. He invited Adam to sit at a small table by the window.

"This is my favorite table."

For Adam, he did not see anything interesting from this cafe. But the happiness and joy of his wife's face that made him amazed.

This simple he answered Adam's offer for dinner. She could have chosen to go to a fancy, high-class restaurant for their first date. But he instead chose a small cafe that is nothing.

Adam finally knew now, that this wife was indeed a little grumpy, impatient, and immature girl, but the content girl had a clean heart and a pure soul. Adam never saw Claudia fighting for any inappropriate reason. And Naomi is right, that Claudia is a very beautiful and rare gem.

Adam pulled out a chair for Claudia to sit on, then sat down in front of him. After sitting face to face, Claudia looks busy taking selfies and posting them on her social media account.

"So, this is your favorite place?" Adam asked with a nod of his head and the word 'hmmmm' coming out of Claudia's lips which were still busy on a selfie.

Then suddenly something dawned on Claudia, and she placed her phone on the table.

"No Dam, absolutely not. You can't do such a stupid thing. Please." Claudia panicked.

Adam just laughed a little at the adorable behavior of his wife.

"Well, but a minor renovation and repair won't matter, will it?" Ask Adam.

"Tidaaak up. Hmm okay good. But, you can't do anything. You can only give them the cost. Let them decide for themselves how to repair and renovate everything. If you do, you'll ruin the taste of this place. You're gonna turn this place into a classy dinner. Please, the interior of this place is my favorite, there is a sense of warmth and comfort of a place to live here." Whining Claudia.

A servant came.

"Large size durian pizza." Claudia said order.

"And you?" The waiter asked the man sitting in front of Claudia.

Adam did not want to eat anything. He had eaten at the restaurant with his friends.

"I'm full, baby." Reply Adam while holding Claudia's hand.

The waiter went to prepare Claudia's order.

"If you've had dinner, then why did you bring me here?" Ask Claudia.

"Because my wife is hungry." Adam replied relaxed.

"But I can have dinner at home too." Claudia looked surprised as well as embarrassed.

Meanwhile, Claudia looked timid. He recalled all the situations that had happened in the past month. It was now a month and a half after the two of them were together. Adam has been very considerate of Claudia all this time.

Claudia thought inwardly that she would give a chance at their marriage. Divorce was gone in his mind. One thing he knew very well was, Adam never wanted a divorce. It was Claudia's own wish all along.

But, because there is a sense of mistrust in him that blocks everything. To the point of making Claudia still feel confused in her heart.

Before long, the pizza came along with Adam's return after receiving a call.

Claudia was about to pick up the pizza cutter knife, but Adam stopped her. He quickly took the knife from Claudia's hand. Then in a subtle and elegant way. Adam cut the pizza, then put a piece on Claudia's plate. She smiled, gesturing for Claudia to start eating.

Claudia felt something tickle in her heart. Because all this time he was always independent and had a bad aura that made no one ever treat him with such attention. Calvin always criticized him for his poor way of eating. He also never pulled a chair for Claudia, never provided food first for her, never treated her well. At that time, Claudia was indeed very young, and at that time she was very kind and gentle.

And Endra, who said that he liked himself. But he had never treated Claudia like this either. Not Erik or anything. Everyone knows that she is a very independent, rude and angry woman. So they never showed any attention to him.

Adam always treated her well. Talk to him in a soft voice. Always deal with it patiently, do small actions that touch it very much such as pulling a chair, opening the car door for him, and always prepare food for him first every time they eat together. Always tidying her hair, always checking if she is injured or not every time she fights. He is the one who always hits others. That's why other people never think they can get hurt. Adam always treated her like that. Same with today. He just kept asking if Claudia was injured or not.

Claudia started eating, and after a while she had already finished half of the pizza.

"Hey Dam, aren't you going to try this pizza for one bite?" Ask Claudia.

Claudia had no idea that her husband did not like durian at all. So, she felt bad for eating alone while Adam did not.

Adam starts to get nervous, but tries not to show it to Claudia. He smiled at Claudia and looked at the plate in front of Claudia. Instead of taking a new piece of pizza, he chose to take the pizza in Claudia's hand by grabbing it. Claudia had bitten him twice. Claudia tried to stop him, but Adam, had already bitten the pizza.

"No, no, no. Not that one. I've..."

Adam had already chewed that pizza.

"Have eaten that pizza." Claudia finished her sentence.

Adam nodded after finishing swallowing his pizza.

"I already know that you've eaten it. That's why I ate it."

Claudia was unable to hide the embarrassed hue on her face. He then continued eating and finished the rest of the pizza.

Adam took a tissue and wiped his mouth.

"Oh my God, I'm so ashamed. I spent all that big pizza alone. You must think that I'm a very greedy buffalo." Claudia.

"Not at all. You are really hungry. I'd be very angry, if you didn't eat well and purposely restrained yourself like the other girls. After all, eating well is so full of blessings." Adam Say.

Calvin always asks Claudia not to eat much, so that he can keep the body from getting fat. But Adam does not, he will be angry if Claudia passes her meal time on purpose. But not with fast food, Adam always asks Claudia to eat home food made by a reliable and healthy chef. There are so many differences between the two men.

They finally got out of the cafe. Adam quickly ran to the car and brought bottled water from the car and started rinsing. Claudia looks confused.

"What's up, Dam?" Ask Claudia.

"I don't like the taste of durian pizza. You should also gargle." He threw the water from his mouth into the trash.

Claudia looks worried.

'He doesn't like the taste but still eats it. It's all because I asked for it. Why is he acting like this. Why is it that His Majesty Adam Wijaya whom everyone fears is acting this way towards me instead? Does he love me that much?'

But, a mischievous idea came to his mind. She smiled mischievously and ran to her husband. He then stood before Adam, who was still standing in front of the trash.

Adam just finished gargling. He looked confused, but he had not yet reacted and thought about what Claudia was doing by standing smiling in front of him. The girl grabbed her husband by the neck and began to kiss him.

Claudia kissed Adam very deeply. Adam was very surprised at first, but he finally understood, what prank Claudia was doing to him. He tried to push Claudia away from him. But it could not be because Claudia had tightened her embrace on Adam's neck. Because Adam was taller than her, Claudia even to tiptoes.

Adam could only sigh inwardly. What this bad girl did was indeed successful, and it was impossible to stop her. So Adam decided to take the only way, which was to give up.

Claudia finally stopped her kiss. After completing his mission, leave the durian taste back in Adam's mouth. He smiled triumphantly looking at Adam. Adam could only shake his head and was about to go back inside the cafe, intending to buy some more water. But....

"I'm going home, NOW." Shouted Claudia while stomping her feet into the streets like a five-year-old boy crying for candy.

Claudia ran up to Adam then grabbed him by the arm and pulled him to get into the car.

"Hurry up, I'm sleepy."

Adam could have let go of himself easily, but he didn't.

Adam then decides to pull Claudia into his arms. This time he did not allow Claudia to escape. The two faced off, with Adam tightly hugging Claudia. Adam began to kiss Adam lustfully. This time he was in control.

Claudia was surprised, she could not dominate their kiss. Adam is in control. He held onto Claudia's butt as if asking her to jump in order to carry it. As if understanding Claudia jumped up and wrapped her legs around Adam's waist. Adam hugged Claudia's waist very tightly, then walked towards the car without taking off their kisses in the slightest.

The couple kissed as if the world belonged to both. Adam laid their bodies in the back seat of the car with Claudia under it. He then pressed a button and suddenly a curtain immediately closed the driver until invisible. The driver immediately started the car engine and moved towards the house.

In the closed back seat...

The kiss deepened and deeper. Adam's hand was already busy touching Claudia's chest. The buttons on Claudia's shirt were already open. From inside his mouth he started to let out a voice that enjoyed everything that was happening. And Adam couldn't stop him.

Claudia stopped her kiss.

"Dam, what are we doing? We should stop..." Claudia.

His voice sounded weak and slightly injured.
