Falsehood (Chapter 15)

I didn't answer Arnold's question, I chose silence. I don't want to talk about my feelings for her.

However, Arnold even more showering me with his sweet attitude. He didn't stop caressing me and kissing me gently. Although at first I did not return the kiss, but over time I began to enjoy it back to Arnold's kiss.

To be honest I feel very strange about the current situation. My heart wants to turn it all down, because it doesn't want to be pitied by Arnold. But his sweet attitude even melted me.

Now he asks me if I like it or not. But, I don't have to answer Arnold's question and I don't want to waste this opportunity either. 2 months later Arnold is getting married and it doesn't matter if I love Arnold or not. Most importantly, my dream came true, before being invited by God at least I had felt love from my husband.

Arnold was showering me with his kiss. My blood rippled so fast. My heart is beating ungodly. Arnold hasn't treated me this sweet since the beginning of the marriage. Although we were in physical contact, but there was really no proper treatment from him for me who was his wife.

And what's happening right now is that I'm getting attached to her. I love her more and more.

"I love you so much Arnold. Even though I had many other options at the time to marry me, I still chose you out of love." My words just came out of my lips.

Arnold looks happy to hear that.

"I love you too, Velicia Arista." Arnold's unexpected reply ended with my own two ears.

'Is it true that he loves me too? But since when?' my thinking.

Somehow it's the expression my face shows. Hearing the word love from Arnold made my feelings so chaotic.

Arnold seemed to notice the change in my face. He was even more addicted to defending me, he then hugged me tightly. Kissed me a few times.

Arnold asked me again, "When did you start falling for me?" Arnold asked as he continued to caress my body.

I who was already helpless innocently replied,

"Then I like you a long time ago."

Arnold seems to be getting more and more anxious with me. He continued to carry on his trunk until he began to carry my body to the room. He put my body slowly on the bed.

Again, this was the first time he had done it to me. He even pulled out a blanket and covered my body with a blanket. It was truly the most beautiful night for me in my entire life.

"Allow me to stay the night." Arnold said and I quickly nodded.

We both just slept hugging and not having sex.

When I woke up in the morning, I found Arnold looking at me lying down.

"Good morning beautiful." Say hello to Arnold to me.

"Good morning too." I reply awkwardly.

"Prepare, I'll take you on a date somewhere." Arnold said again as he rolled his eyes at me.

"Dating?" I don't believe what I hear.

"Yes dating. Hurry up, I'm sure you'll be happy." Arnold tried to persuade me.

After finishing the morning routine, we finally left. Arnold didn't say where we were headed. However, it looks like he will take me out of town. Because the car Arnold was driving started to enter the motorway and get out of our city gate.

Arnold said he was gonna take me on a date. Why go to this small town. Until our car stopped at a house that turned out to be where his parents lived.

Arnold's mother was a kind, gentle woman, she seemed very happy to see me and Arnold come to visit her.

"Arnold 2 days ago Andreas, also just visited Mother" said the woman who still looks youthful.

I just found out that Arnold still has an older brother named Andreas Setyawan. I've never heard of him before, let alone met him.

Arnold asked me to stay at his mother's house, I agreed because the trip to this small town was exhausting enough to make me need more rest. It would be exhausting to go back to our city.

That night Arnold and I accompanied her mother to a meal. This house is very comfortable, but it seems lonely because Arnold's mother lives alone and there is a cat of considerable size that accompanies her daily life. The cat, named Molly, looks very close to Arnold's mother.

At the dinner table, everything feels very pleasant because of the presence of a mother. I looked at Arnold's mother inside and remembered my own parents, I was envious because Arnold's parents were still alive. Even Arnold looks very spoiled by his mother. As for me, I already have no one else in this world.

After eating, Arnold and I went into a room that Arnold's mother had provided. We both watched a movie in the room, hugged each other and chatted.

I went into the bathroom intending to clean myself up. However, when I saw my face in the mirror, I stopped washing my face. I don't want to remove my make-up.

Arnold who went into the bathroom saw that I was hesitating about removing my make-up.

"Veli, you don't have to delete it if you don't want to." Arnold told me.

I nodded and then came out of the bathroom followed by Arnold.

I never thought after a while out of the room, Arnold returned with a basin of warm water and began washing my feet with the warm water he brought earlier.

I felt hesitant to stop him, but he continued his activities without caring about me.

"Arnold, please stop. You don't have to be like this." I tried to pull my leg.

However, Arnold quickly held my foot back to stay in the basin. Until he finally cleaned my feet. Then I sleep with a hug.

In the morning we say goodbye to Arnold's mother to return to the city of Ternate. From the look on his face, I could feel that it was very hard for him to part with Arnold.

"Come here often, son. I'll make you toast like you liked." He said to me with water in his eyes.

We also arrived in the city of Ternate. Our lives are getting better. We passed through these few days quietly and happily.

Tonight as usual, Arnold and I sat on the bed. Sometimes Arnold teases me, by kissing me, until finally the sound of Arnold's cell phone stops us kissing.

Viona's name is listed on Arnold's phone screen complete with love emoticons beside her name. Arnold picked up Viona's call quickly, and it sounded very clear in my ear, even though Arnold didn't speak to her. Viona was crying desperately, she said, “Arnold, I miss you so much.”

Without a second thought Arnold came out of the room. Leaving me without a word. I gave up, I was too stupid. Apparently this is all just a fake.
