43. Challenging Lisa

Three days had passed and Adam's condition had improved so quickly. He has been working at home for three days. And to be honest, Claudia really became a good girl. Adam had been sitting in his room for a few days. Claudia wakes up in the morning in Adam's arms. Although his body is still injured and requires treatment, Adam never woke up late compared to Claudia.

Not wanting to make Adam worry or stress, Claudia always goes to campus every day, and not miss the lesson, eat always on time. He also touched Adam. And only at lunch they did not eat together, because Claudia was on campus. But Claudia never forgets to always send a message to Adam reminding him of all the routines and conditions that must take medicine on time. He also always told Adam what he was doing, except for one thing. Adam never knew where Claudia was going from five in the afternoon to seven in the evening. Claudia just told him that she was going to the college dorm to spend time with her friends.

Fourth day.....

Claudia had just finished her college eyes, when she realized a message was coming into her phone.

'It's a shame I'm on campus now. I have a class teaching at the biology faculty in the second semester. You can meet me later when you're done.'

Claudia smiled reading the message, but she was a little worried about Adam's state. Why did he have to go to college in such a condition. He could get permission and come next week.

Still busy with her thoughts, Claudia chose to walk towards her husband's room. Just halfway through, he stopped because he saw a crowd of several other students who were talking about something. Claudia looked in which direction the girls' eyes were looking, and she finally found out where the girls' excitement was coming from.

Adam was there, standing in front of his room talking to the Dean. Standing straight and her flat face and cold expression with her hands that fit into her pants pocket. Claudia rolled her lazy eyes and also shook her head looking at the hysterical stupidity of the girls looking at Adam.

'He didn't even glance at you the slightest bit of the odd girls. Back away. Her eyes were only on me.' Claudia said inwardly.

Suddenly an evil idea pops into Claudia's mind after seeing the crowd of girls and being fixed on one of the girls there.

"Hey Lisa, stop smiling weirdly, the muscles in your lower jaw can be numb and will stay that way." Claudia Shouts.

Why is Claudia focusing on Lisa? Because all this time the girl had indeed become her sworn enemy and also Claudia heard Lisa's words about her husband. Claudia rarely challenges Lisa first.

Without giving any response, Lisa rolled her eyes lazily and ignored Claudia.

"Hey, you've always challenged me this whole time. What if I challenge you today?" Said Claudia again.

This time Claudia's words attracted Lisa, she turned and looked at Claudia.

"What kind of challenge?" Ask Lisa.

"I will confess my feelings to Mr. Adam again, but this time directly. And if he doesn't reject my love, then you should sing 'bad romance' Lady Gaga all over the campus by singing in the same tree on the basketball court where I once confessed my feelings." Claudia.

Lisa thought about whether she would agree to this challenge. Given that Adam once defended Claudia while in the mall first. And Lisa's convinced that there's something between Claudia and Adam.

'But, even if Mr Adam did have something to do with this delinquent girl, would he let Claudia tell her feelings to the public? Rich people like him usually keep their sugar pigs a secret, don't they? Wouldn't he be angry if he saw Claudia publicizing their secret relationship in front of everyone?' thought Lisa.

"alright. But, if he rejects you. You'll have to be my maid for a week." Reply Lisa.

'Oh my God, this girl. Why can't he think of fun things as stakes. Why always be a maid and the others? But why should I care? My man will also not be able to resist me.' Claudia said in her heart.

"All right, I'm ready." Claudia.

In front of Adam's door, the Dean was talking about various things.

When a soft voice sounded approaching in their ears from behind.

”Halo Sir, Hi Mr. Adam.”.

Adam turned around and found a girl approaching with a big smile on her lips. Adam's heart was racing, but he kept trying to display his cold expression.

“What are you doing here. Aren't you late for your class? Your class will start in ten minutes.” Adam Say.

Inwardly Claudia rolled her lazy eyes, but she kept trying to display her best smile.

“I'll let you two talk. I gotta go. See you soon, honey. Take care. You've done your best in your learning.” Adam was about to leave by displaying his still flat expression.

Claudia looked at Adam with a smile full of love and also looked a little embarrassed. Adam was confused.

‘Why does my delinquent wife look embarrassed? What is he planning now?’ adam took a deep breath.

“Twenty seconds passed, you're late for your class.” Adam Say.

But instead of running to her class or being afraid of Adam's tone of voice, Claudia walked closer to Adam. And then he put his hand around Adam's neck and rested his head on Adam's chest.

“I like you Mr. Adam, I like you very much.” Said Claudia who sounded like she was almost screaming.

Adam became surprised, his heart seemed to stop for a moment. He was silent for a moment before realizing that there were some students who were also surprised to look at them. They are at a pretty close distance. This made Adam realize that his wife was playing a game and was using herself as a pawn.

But Adam didn't dispute that. The words that Claudia said earlier, had made her feel happy and forget about other things.

Adam pulled Claudia's hand closer to his chest and whispered in his ear.

“I heard what you said. Now think, what are you gonna do so I can forgive you for being late for your class?”

Claudia looked frightened now. He gulped and wanted to immediately release himself from Adam's grip, but could not.

“And well, I love you too, more than you can imagine.” Adam then let Claudia go.

Adam then left Claudia with a chest that was still pounding and a red face. He did not understand whether he should be afraid of what Adam would do to him or ashamed of the confession he made in front of many others. Claudia almost ran to her class and forgot everything, but of course she was immediately mobbed by many people. Especially the girls asking him.

‘How did everything happen?’

‘Why can Adam pull you?’

‘When did you guys start so close?’

‘Why did anyone turn around to hug you?’

‘Are you guys dating?’

‘Is Adam your lover or just your sugar baby?’

And there are many other questions.

Claudia looked desperate to get out of the crowd of them all.

A girl seemed to want to run from there, but Endra quickly confronted her.

“Hei... heii.. hey... beautiful, where are you going? I really want to hear you sing. Come on pretty girl, start singing.” Endra said to Lisa.

‘Mr Adam, I'm already in class now. Don't worry.’ Claudia sent a message to Adam.

Claudia then ran towards Lisa.

“Yes Miss Lisa. Now let's start the show. Do you want to fix the makeup on your face or something else first?” Claudia said heats up Lisa.

The other girls went back into hysterics after listening to Lisa.

“Yes God, Claudia. Is that true?”

“Can you give us Mr Adam's number?”

“Wow Claudia, you are great.”

The girls start asking about Adam's number and other things to Claudia, which frustrates Claudia again.

“Oh come. You must not think of escaping after saying all these strange things. Hurry up and do your punishment as soon as possible.” Said Claudia again.

After finishing enjoying Lisa's live performance and having fun with Endra, Claudia finally decided to return to her class. Lisa is surrounded by many people. She is currently the topic of conversation across campus after her poor singing ability was displayed in front of everyone.

Claudia and Endra were walking through the corridor laughing while sending a message. Claudia received another message from Adam.

‘Do you enjoy everything? Your class lesson is over. Now prepare for your punishment dear.’

Claudia's eyes widened, ‘ya Lord, does this man have six eyes? How did he know everything?’

‘What do you mean Dam, I'm still in the classroom until now.’ Reply Claudia.

‘Really? Do you want me to show you the CCTV that's on your campus?’

Claudia wanted to scream loudly.

‘Ah dear, how about we go to dinner later?’ Reply Claudia.

‘I don't accept bribes.’ Reply Adam.

‘Yeah, Mr. Adam Wijaya. I actually wanted to go to class, okay. But all the girls who idolized you got in my way. They were the reason why I was late. They ask me a lot about you. God, if they find out that I'm your wife, they'll definitely kill me. I'll never admit to our marriage in public. Never will be.’ Reply Claudia.

While reading Claudia's reply, adam felt a little hurt, but he could only sigh.

‘Alright, I'll pick you up later in the afternoon. We'll go to dinner.’ Reply Adam.

Claudia was unaware of how Adam was feeling right now. He was so happy to read Adam's reply.

After the school hours ended, Claudia was indeed picked up by her husband and taken to a restaurant. They were in a privacy room in a fancy restaurant. Claudia is massaging Adam's shoulders.

“Darling, you must be so tired right. Let me help you by massaging you until our food comes.” Claudia said in a sweet voice.

“Darling, I told you, no need. I don't accept bribes.” Adam shook Claudia's hand.

Claudia chipped in annoyance and then sat back down to her chair.

The food came too. Adam stops the actions of the waiter who wants to serve the meal to Claudia because he himself wants to serve it. Then the waiter turned to serve food in Adam's ring and left.

Claudia was still irritated, but she kept eating. In my heart, Adam wanted to laugh. Claudia continued to eat but with her face that looked so cocky. He then called adam.

“Sayanggggg...”.

“Hmmmm...” Reply to Adam with a voice made as calm as possible.

“The punishment is not by watching a horror movie or going to the grave huh?” Claudia asked expectantly.

“No, not at all. Only a king cobra will kiss you this time. That's it.”

(Claudia's biggest fear. Snakes and ghosts. Do you guys remember?)

Claudia jumped up from her seat and stood up with her trembling lips. His eyes were now perfectly rounded. Claudia quickly ran towards Adam and sat on his lap, hugging him very tightly, wrapping her hands around Adam's neck.

“Don't love, please. I won't repeat it again. Please dear. I am your wife, yours alone. Who else do I have but you. Just like me, who else do you have but me. Aye right? Please, honey, don't. I'll never be late for class again. I beg.” Claudia continued to talk while crying with her face facing Adam's chest.

What Claudia did, somehow got Adam hooked. How his moving lips touched the skin of Adam's neck while speaking. How does Claudia's warm breath feel blowing on her skin. Claudia, who was sitting right on her lap, made the sensitive part of Adam react. Claudia was still crying.

Adam never thought that he could also be tempted by the face of his crying wife. Claudia's lips hung from crying. His entire face was also flushed looking like a tomato. Adam really wanted to bite his wife's face.

Claudia was initially surprised and so nervous. But, making love to her husband in bed is much better compared to dealing with a snake. He nodded his head, rubbing the tip of his nose.

"Good." Reply Claudia.

Adam smiled triumphantly. He took his wife like a koala and took her out to the car. She begins to kiss Claudia's lips, unable to control herself and increasingly embraces her very tightly.

Adam started his car and rushed home.

They were on their way home when Adam got a call from Megan. Claudia's face looked irritated.

"Darling, I was driving. Can you pick up Megan's phone and press the speakers?" Ask Adam.

Claudia nodded.

"Hello, Om Adam, the men are back. They were in front of my house going around and talking about something. They're... They're looking for a girl in my house. I'm scared of Om." Megan.

Adam was surprised, he looked towards Claudia who was also looking at him in surprise. Claudia had never seen Adam so nervous or frightened as he was now.

"Megan, go to the security room now. Don't forget to bring your earrings. Please don't forget to bring it. Go fast." Adam's Word.

"Earrings? Oh yeah, all right. But come quickly." Megan panicked and decided to call.

Adam pulls the car over and takes the phone out of Claudia's hand and starts calling Will.

"Yes Will, get Megan and those earrings out of there right now. Those guys are back. Please Will, do something." Adam Say.

Claudia was really surprised. This was the first time he had seen Adam so frightened. He doesn't know what Will said across the phone. He could only listen to what Adam said.

"No, I can't go there. My wife is with me. I couldn't help her by showing her with me to them. I'll wait on the jasmine road. Take him out of his house and take him to me. I'll take care of everything after that. You can distract them after escorting Megan to me." Say Acid then disconnects the phone call.

Claudia seemed so confused and surprised by what was going on that she did not understand what Adam was talking about.
