90 Days Pursuing My Husband's Love

90 Days Pursuing My Husband's Love
Difference between Arnold (Chapter 10)

I really did not expect that the person I had always loved and was always in my memory, suddenly appeared before my eyes.

My breath felt choked, so I had to breathe carefully.

With trembling hands I again tried to adjust my breath to stabilize again.

"Where do you live, little girl?"

Again, his baritone voice made me feel even more that what was happening before me right now was just a dream.

I stood there, and made myself look at my bead more deeply.

"Villa family Arista”. Answer me while looking away.

"Let's take me home." His words again made me not believe what was happening to me right now.

He pulled my hand and slowly led me to his car.

I didn't refuse at all, I let it all go.

Until we were both in one car, I realized that I had left Merry at a music concert without saying goodbye to her first.

'Ah Merry, you will definitely understand what I am doing right now.' I said in my heart.

All the way to our house, we were silent. There's no sayings. It seems like we both have no idea what to say to open our conversation.

After thirty minutes, we finally arrived at my house.

She politely and romantically opened her car door for me.

I want to spend more time with him. Until I ventured to offer him to stop by.

"Did you stop by first? Can we have coffee or tea together?" I said without thinking about my veins anymore.

However, from the look in his eyes I could already read that he rejected my invitation.

"Sorry little girl, I can't. Next time, yes. It's late, I don't want people to misunderstand me. I'm saying yes. I'll see you again." He smiled and got into his car.

He waved his hand and drove his car away from my yard.

I feel happy and sad at the same time. To be honest, I was surprised, why was Arnold different from Arnold now? I don't know why the man in my heart is any different than the man who married me.

Their faces are the same, but they have different traits. The first Arnold I ever met was a gentle man and was always nice to me. But why did he turn so cold?

Is there something wrong with him? Or am I the one who misrecognizes people?

But, I always loved my old Arnold and have remained that way until now, even though he has changed.

I knew Arnold might have the same feelings as me, so he wanted to take me home. But since she was about to get married now, it was only natural that she refused to stop by my house.

Never mind, my head is getting dizzy thinking about everything. I'd rather just sleep, and hope tomorrow will be better.

*******

Morning came...

The chirping of birds perched on an evergreen tree in front of the house further brightened the atmosphere this morning.

I woke up feeling happy. Is it because Arnold just turned into the Arnold I knew?

I saw my reflection in the big mirror in the room. Smiling because she has a beautiful face. I can even say that I am more beautiful than Viona, my husband's woman.

The voice of the phone call came in on my phone and displayed Merry's name on her screen. I immediately swiped the green button to receive the call.

'What is it that made my best friend call me this early?' my thinking.

"Hello Velicia, there's one important thing I want to tell you." Merry was excited.

"Say. It seems like good news, because from your voice, you sound so excited." My timpal.

"Do you know, I've finally found Hansen Wijaya." Shouted Merry across the phone.

'Hansen Wijaya! Isn't he dead?' my thinking.

Hansen Wijaya was the man Merry had liked for a long time, Merry always felt that this man had not died. I remember, when the accident happened, Merry who I could not calm down at that time, went to the accident that hit Hansen.

Merry was already like a madman searching in the rubble of a destroyed vehicle looking for and shouting calling Hansen's name. However, Merry could not find Hansen's body anywhere, so he always felt that Hansen had not died.

Merry's been looking for Hansen for almost 8 years. And now he's telling me he found Hansen! Really, some unexpected news.

"Are you sure it's the same Hansen?" I tried asking him. Who knows, Merry is just a guy.

"I would never go wrong in recognizing Hansen. And finally after a long time of searching for it. I can find it now." Merry's voice sounded very excited. "Hansen was at his grandmother's house in the village, but....." Merry paused the conversation. Then in a trembling tone he said, "Hansen is now a disabled person due to Veli's accident."

I could feel Merry being shaken. And, I tried to calm her down.

"Mer, it would be best if you could calm yourself down first before going to see him." My speech.

Now that Hansen is a cripple, I'm just afraid that Merry will find it hard to get past his psychological problems.

After hanging up the phone, I thought back to Arnold being too gentle with me last night.

I was hungry, I had to cook food for myself.

I wasn't done cooking, my phone rang again and I received the phone call because it came from the Great Lord Setyawan who asked me to meet.

After saying 'yes', I returned to finishing my cooking slowly, and after finishing breakfast then went to Setyawan's residence.

Arriving at the Setyawan residence, my eyes immediately fell on Arnold who was completely different from the one I met last night, still looking very cold. Huh basic!

Great Lord Setyawan asked us to sit side by side.

"Listen Papa. Papa wants you two to make up. Papa won't let Viona step inside this house for whatever reason." Grand Lord Setyawan said with great emphasis.

"It's up to Papa to agree or not with my decision. Velicia and I have agreed to divorce. And, soon I'll marry Viona with or without Papa's blessing." Arnold said so firmly.

Never mind, it's okay. I've resigned and will not prevent Arnold from doing anything that will make him happy.

"Pa, if Papa just invited me here to discuss this matter. My answer remains the same, I don't care anymore. I've given Arnold away for a woman who can really make him happy."

After saying that, I immediately walked out of the Setyawan residence. My car slowly left the parking lot, and I was suddenly intercepted by Arnold. He was smoking casually, and said he wanted to talk to me.

I think back to what happened last night in the car with him. I asked him what he wanted to talk to me about.

But Arnold just asked, “You really want to date?”

Seriate....
