47. About the Party

It's been almost a week running....

Claudia worked hard to face her test. Adam was so happy. He never missed a single moment to support Claudia and encourage her. He just listened to every utterance of Claudia calmly smiling with the joy that Claudia showed from her eyes.

Adam still plays Claudia's hair.

"Darling what has been your dream all along?" Ask Adam.

Claudia looked at Adam.

"I didn't have any dreams before, but it's different now. One day I saw someone in my life who inspired me to be successful. I want to be a successful person just like him. He's my idol and I want to be like him"

Claudia's words made the expression on Adam's face become wondering.

"Who is that, baby? Do I know him too? Is he your teacher or your lecturer?" Ask Adam.

"Yes, he's my lecturer."

But Claudia did not sit down immediately, she went towards Adam and hugged him. Adam returned Claudia's embrace and stroked her head then continued the chat on the phone. After she finished chatting on the phone, she took claudia towards the table and made Claudia sit on her lap.

"Sleep after you finish drinking it." Adam's Word.

This one week went well with the couple getting more friendly with each other. They are so happy and comfortable.

Tonight this week, Adam asked Claudia.

"Darling, I have to attend a party on Tuesday. The day your exam is over. Actually Megan has been asking me to be her partner at the party since 1 year ago, when I was in Canada. Adam laughed out loud. Even the employees in the meeting room looked surprised to hear their cold boss laughing like any normal person.

"Don't insult the food. That's my favorite menu." Adam's words were teasing Claudia.

Claudia turned back her lazy eye.

"By the way, you're not gonna get your food today. Today the ingredients are running out." Reply Claudia.

"Why baby? Please, you can't do this to me. Stop all these games. Please, your exam is over too. Then what else?" This time Adam pleaded.

"Adam... Adam... Adam... I don't play any games with you, trust me. I'm so tired and Naomi also told me that you have an important job today. You're going home late, tonight. So don't try to throw his mistake at me." Reply Claudia.

Adam disconnects the phone call and when he returns to continue the meeting all the people in the room stare at him like they see a ghost.

Second, Adam laughed on the phone.

Third, Adam spoke in a very different tone, mentioned many affectionate nicknames and sweet words.
