2. Meet Adam

"Endra, take me home." Claudia.

"But, In... It's your birthday party." Reply Endra.

"Would you take me home, or I could go alone." Claudia said in a threatening tone.

Endra moved his head and agreed to drive Claudia home. Both of them walked out of the hotel. Claudia throws her car keys at Endra.

"You drive, I'm so drunk." Her speech.

Claudia's car comes out of the hotel parking lot and soon the two arrive at Claudia's house. Claudia got out of the car.

"Good night." His words passed leaving Endra standing in front of his car.

"Huh, seriously! Good evening! Is that all? Is this how you say goodbye to your boyfriend? You didn't even allow me to kiss you." Endra Protests.

"Just kiss my feet." Claudia replies twisting the eyeballs lazily.

"Oh my God, is this in return for the help I gave you?" Endra said again.

"Yes, I did ask you for help. But your attitude is too exaggerated. I'm sorry I made you my best friend. You forget your limits, you cross the line. Your limits are on my cheeks, not anything else. Don't forget that." Claudia said emotion.

Endra clenched him tightly. He then slipped Claudia's messy-looking hair behind her ear.

"When are you going to accept my proposal Di? I like you a lot." Endra said in a tone that sounded sad.

"Endra, you know for yourself that I don't believe in love and all that stuff about it. I don't believe in a relationship be it a marriage or anything." Reply Claudia fiery.

Endra sounded out sighing in disappointment.

"At least give me the right goodbye." Her speech.

Claudia chuckled and kissed both of Endra's cheeks alternately.

"Good night." Her speech.

Endra kissed her cheek back.

"Good night, and again, happy birthday." He said, and the two separated.

Endra returned to his house.

Claudia walked towards the door. Just as she opened the door, Naomi stood there staring at herself sharply with her arms folded over her chest.

"How many times have I told you not to bring your lover home. You're a married woman, at least appreciate that fact. How can you let her kiss you and you even kiss her back?" Naomi said firmly.

Claudia did not respond.

"Prepare, you'll return to the main house." Say Naomi again.

"Why? Is it because your boss wants to see me?" Ask Claudia.

Naomi looked surprised.

"You know what?"

"Yes, I know. You all have no intention of telling me." Reply Claudia.

"We didn't tell you because we didn't know he was coming either. He came without giving any information, he said he wanted to...."

"I don't want to know what he wants. I don't want to meet him." Claudia interrupted Naomi's words as she walked in.

Naomi followed him from behind.

"What's? What do you mean say that Di? What's?" Shouted Naomi.

"I told you, I don't want to see him, I don't want to know about him. And of course he can't come here. If he comes, I'll make a troublemaker. And you're in charge, it's up to you how you deal with everything." Said Claudia and walked upstairs.

"But Di, he came after two years. Why don't you want to see him. Claudia's.... Claudia...."

Naimi continued to shout, but Claudia completely ignored him and even closed the door to her room.

Adam went into his house with a face of emotion. He threw his suit towards the sofa in the living room and loosened his tie.

"Welcome back Adam, how are you?" Ask Naomi.

Adam did not look at him.

"I'm good." Reply Adam.

"What's wrong? You look so angry?" Ask Naomi.

"Don't ask. I just got here and had to meet some of my business colleagues at a hotel. They were there with me, but then..."

"Then what?" Naomi asked curiously.

"Then a girl. He just got off the corridor and... And kissed me right away. Aaarrggghhh young people today, everything is just a prank for them. They don't even think how someone they're feeling, or how they're in a situation. Aahh I do not like modern-day children like today." Adam said with a disgusted face. "By the way, forget about it. Where's she? Didn't she come here with you?" Ask Adam.

Naomi was silent, she was thinking about what to say to Adam.

"What's up Omi? Is she okay?" Ask Adam again.

"He didn't come Dam. He said he needed time." Naomi finally said.

Both were silent for a moment. The expression on Adam's face is not clear.

"He still needs time. Is 2 years not enough? I came on her birthday to give her a surprise. At least he'd come to see me." Adam said with a disappointed face.

"Eemmm don't think anything strange about him. Your arrival was so sudden and made him shocked, he needed preparation I think. Give him time and you'll meet later." Naomi tried to melt the atmosphere.

"Naomi..... I was always waiting for him, giving him time to clear his mind for two years. I'm a man too. I want to live my life in a household and take care of everything here. I don't know what my fault is in all this. Why she....." Adam stopped talking, he looked sad, and so did Naomi.

"But, Dam. That's the biggest mistake you've made. You shouldn't have left him. Living abroad for two years is not the best way to give him time to think. I know you want to give him time but you can do everything here too. Your departure actually makes things worse, but don't worry about giving him two more weeks. I'm sure you can meet him." Naomi lied again.

Silence enveloped the two for two minutes.

"I'll be here for three months. Until the last semester, until he graduated college." Adam Say.

"Then after that? Are you going back away again? Come on Adam, you...." Naomi was about to say something.

"No, no, it's not like that. I want to stay here too and that's my goal. But my hope of staying here depends on him as well. If he wants to give us a chance on our marriage relationship, I'll stay here and arrange for everything to be moved here forever. But, if he doesn't make a decision, then I'll come back. You asked me to give him two more weeks, then fine. He should see me after two weeks. There's a lot I want to tell him. After that I won't bother him for three months, he'll have to make up his mind." Adam Say.

Naomi is silent, she also looks sad to see Adam still hoping for her marriage to Claudia. He came to surprise Claudia on her birthday. But the bad girl came home with her boyfriend drunk. Naomi shook her head quickly.

"I forgot one thing. I bought this flower for her, I thought I'd meet her today. Naomi, can you give her this flower." Adam Say.

Naomi nodded her head.

"Oh yeah, how did he celebrate his birthday? Did he go meet his friends?" Ask Adam.

In Naomi's heart, she was so angry. The man in front of him asked if his wife was having fun on her birthday. He bought his wife flowers to give when he met her. He was upset by a stranger who suddenly kissed him.

"Yes, he went to celebrate his birthday with his friends. But he came home quickly. He actually doesn't really like parties and all that stuff...." Naomi tries to cover up Claudia's behavior by lying more and more.

Adam smiled after hearing Naomi's words.

"I wish I could meet him once. I've never seen him. I'll ask Erik to bring his picture tomorrow." Adam said as he walked upstairs.

Naomi stood silently staring at the passing Adam, she cursed Claudia inwardly.

The next day....

"I don't know what I'm here for. I hate all this." Claudia said annoyedly.

Rose and Diana chose their bracelets. They are currently at Starlight Mall. Rose and Diana are buying a gift for their new lover. And Claudia was dragged along with the two.

After she finished choosing a bracelet, Claudia first went out of the accessories store and walked down the mall and stopped in front of a luxury perfume shop and branded. He then went inside followed by his two friends.

"Hey Di, why did you come in here? You know we can't buy anything here?" Shouted Rose. "Ah, I forgot that our bad girl has a sugar daddy that's her ATM machine." Rose nudged Diana, but she immediately stopped talking as Claudia looked at her sharply.

"Excuse me. I can see the black one." Claudia pointed a bottle of limited edition perfume at the waiter.

The waiter gave the bottle of luxury perfume to Claudia.

"Please be careful." The waiter said to Claudia, considering that perfume was very expensive.

"Yes Tuhaaan, I've been looking for this perfume for a very long time. It's been a year. This is my favorite perfume. I finally found it." Claudia was so happy.

"Based on the rich." Rose and Diana said at the same time.

Claudia looked at the two with a threatening look.

"One more time you guys talk no-no, I'm gonna throw you two out of here."

Claudia was about to turn around and look towards the servant. But he found a pair of men and women entering the store followed by a man walking behind them. Claudia looked at the man walking behind the couple, she looked so familiar.

And sure enough, it was Erik. And finally Claudia realized that the man and woman in front of Erik was Adam Wijaya, her husband. Claudia quickly turned around and hoped Erik would not recognize her.

Claudia wants to pay the perfume to the waiter so she can get out of the store without having to meet with Erik and her husband.

"Bak please bill her, I'll buy it." Claudia.

Suddenly the woman who came with Adam snatched the perfume bottle from Claudia's hand.

"Ah, this is the one I've been looking for all this time." Say a sexy-dressed woman with that shoulder-length hair.

"Mmmm excuse me, sorry. But I bought it first. So please step aside." Claudia.

"You asked me to step aside, you little prick. You step aside, I'll buy it." Said the woman.

Claudia looks upset.

"Once again sorry Auntie." Her speech. "I saw it first, so I'll buy it. So Aunt please step aside."

Claudia then asked the waiter to wrap the perfume. But the waiter seemed not to pierce his words until it made Claudia even more upset.

"Hey you want to die. Hurry up and wrap it up." Claudia Shouts.

The female servant ignored Claudia's words, until Claudia almost punched her in the face....

"Hey, what kind of attitude are you showing. Quit..." Said a man whose voice sounded so firm, that it made everyone speechless.

Everyone turned around and looked towards the man including Claudia. The woman who was fighting over perfume with Claudia ran towards the man and held his hand.

"Darling, look at that leak. I wanted to buy the perfume, but the boy said he had bought it first. Until he got angry and started making a fuss. His attitude was so bad and arrogant." Said the woman in a spoiled tone.

Claudia felt like vomiting, especially the man called dear by the woman turned out to be Adam, her husband.

'Naomi said she came home to see me. You liar, in fact he's here with his girlfriend. So that's the reason why he was at the hotel yesterday.'

"Of course, you can have it." Adam said to the woman.

"Sorry sir, you can ask the waiter. I was the one who saw this perfume first and wanted to buy it." Claudia.

"What if I don't let you buy it because I'm going to buy it?" Adam's words further enraged Claudia.

But, instead of getting angry, Claudia chose to take a deep breath....

"Sir, please wrap it up, and give a greeting to your dear one from Adam Wijaya." Adam said that made the woman beside him smile triumphantly.

That made Claudia lose her patience. Claudia turned to look at Adam.

"Hey, who do you think you are?" Claudia Shouts. "You think you can buy everything because you have everything. Never will, Mr. Adam Wijaya. Can't do. I saw it first, so I'll buy it. No matter who you are, all the fools here can be afraid of you. But not with me. Me, Claudia will never be afraid of you." Claudia Shouts.

Rose and Diana rushed over to Claudia and tried to calm her down.

"Calm down, let it go. Let's get out of here." Take Diana and Rose to try to pull Claudia out of the store but can't.

"Take me off." Claudia Shouts. "If I say I want it, it will be mine." Claudia was full of anger. "Listen to me Mr. Adam, I don't care what you want to prove in front of your lover, but I'm not your doll, I saw it first, then I'll buy it. That's all." Said Claudia again.

"really? Do you think your sugar daddy has the guts to deal with me? She must have no guts, so don't you dare fight me." Adam Say.

Claudia's blood was boiling, she couldn't stand it.

"How dare you?" His shouting.

The people who saw them fighting looked shocked because of Claudia's unwillingness to fight Adam.

"Hey bocil, take care of your friend. Stop him, do you know who he's fighting. He is the owner of this place. Quickly bring him in prgi or he'll be in big trouble." The words of those people made Rose and Diana even more surprised.

Rose and Diana try to pull Claudia out of the store but can't. Claudia and Adam stared at each other, especially Claudia whose eyes were full of hatred. Adam himself felt his jaw harden with annoyance, he then shouted.

"Erics.... Erik...." His shouting.

Erik, who was receiving a call, rushed towards Adam.

"What's up, sir?" Ask Erik.

Erik's gaze turned to Claudia who was held by Rose and Diana with a look of emotion.

'What really happened?' thought Erik.

"Miss Claudia, what are you doing here? What's the matter exactly?" Said Erik in a polite and gentle tone.

Everyone looked astonished, and so did Adam. Claudia squinted at Erik, Erik seemed to understand. He looked at Adam.

"Young Master, why did you call me?" Ask Erik.

"Take this kid out of here." Adam cried out even though he was actually curious about the interaction between Erik and the girl in front of him.
