56. He's Back

Adam couldn't laugh, especially seeing his wife start crying. He tried to hold back his laughter and tried to explain it to his wife.

"I'm sorry. I'm so busy, here let me open your suit and tie first. You must be uncomfortable." Said Claudia taking off Adam's tie and suit.

Adam hugged Claudia back and said,

"You know, baby. When I was young and in an orphanage, making pottery was one of my hobbies. At that time your father was the one who taught me every Saturday. It took me a month and a half to make a perfect pot. You can't learn anything in just one day baby. Don't be impatient okay." Adam said to his wife.

The two of them ate together. Adam brought Claudia to dinner outside.

Adam's phone suddenly rang.

The name on the phone screen makes the smile of both suddenly disappear. It was a call from Megan.

"Hello." Adam Say.

"Hello Om Adam. I removed those earrings." Megan said in a panicked voice and almost cried.

Claudia tried to calm her husband down, but it didn't work. For the first time Claudia failed to calm her husband. Adam looked at Claudia with an unpredictable expression.

Adam was silent for a moment.

"I have to go, baby. Please don't be upset or angry with me. It's very important. I promise, I'll explain it to you later." Adam Say.

Claudia hugged her husband.

"It's okay baby, I'm not gonna be mad at you. You go, I'll wait for you at home." Reply Claudia.

"Thank you for understanding, baby. Don't take a taxi or anything. Just call Erik and wait here safely, until he arrives okay."

Claudia looked at her husband with a confused expression.

"Yes. yeah, baby. I'm not going to take a taxi. I'm gonna call Erik. You don't have to worry. You just go fast and take notes in your mind. I'll wait for you at home. Don't get yourself into trouble that'll put your life at risk, please baby." Claudia said then tightened her embrace on her husband.
