41. Fall in Love

The house bell rings....

Claudia slowly let go of her embrace at Adam and rushed towards the door to open it. He knew that there were servants who could open the door, but he did not want the servants to panic at seeing the arrival of the doctor with all their equipment. The doctors must have come with equipment for surgery.

Adam did not say anything until finally then slowly his consciousness disappeared.

A few minutes later Claudia returned to the room with the doctor and the rest of her team and Naomi were also there next to Claudia.

Claudia finds the unconscious Adam with his eyes closed, his body stiff and Claudia begins to feel fear. He rushed to the bed and jumped and rubbed Adam's face with his hands.

"Dear, baby. What the hell's going on? Open your eyes, please." Isaac Claudia.

Naomi then came closer to Claudia and held her shoulder.

"In, relax. He only fainted because of the pain he was experiencing. Don't worry, come with me. We need to get out of this room so the doctors can do their job. Come on." Comeon." Naomi.

But Naomi can't persuade Claudia.

Claudia continued to hold Adam's hand in tears, rubbing Adam's face and occasionally as she pleased. After many attempts, Naomi finally manages to get Claudia out. Somehow, Naomi finally calms Claudia down.

Claudia felt something rustling in her heart and she wanted to reveal it all to her friend. He wanted to talk to get his heart out. He decided to call Endra.

"Hello Di's... I heard everything from Dom. Where is he now? Is she okay?" That was the first thing Endra said while picking up the phone from Claudia.

"Ndra seems like I'm in love..."

For a moment Endra lost his words, "what?"

"I think I'm in love with her." Claudia said before she started crying.

Endra quickly combines the calls with his other friends and tells them about the news he just heard. While Claudia was still busy with her cries.

"She still showed a calm face, even though I always behaved badly to her. He never did anything bad to me. Instead, she was always sweet to me. Make sure I always eat well, study well, sleep well. He even knows what I like and dislike. He always asked the chef to make me my favorite food. He never asked the chef to cook any food for him. Whenever the chef asks about what she wants to eat, she will always answer my favorite foods. He never misses to see my study schedule or my daily schedule. He did whatever it took to make me feel more alive even among the millions of people he would always listen to me. He can always solve my problems. He never failed to make me feel like the most special person. There is not a single day without a kiss from her for me, or saying a word of love to me. No matter how I want to be mad at him or upset at him. He never said anything about divorce. He loved to feed me with his own hands. He was cold and arrogant to the whole world but not to me. He's acting so gentlemanly.

I was so angry when there was another girl sitting in the passenger seat beside her, I was also angry when she was in a room alone with Megan for a long time. I get angry whenever he's nice to Megan. It's not about him or Megan. It's about me. I just don't like him seeing anyone else but me.

I became angry when I found out he was giving Megan an island as his birthday present. Not because gifts are expensive, but because I think that the gifts given to me are the most special. But then Dom told me that Megan herself asked Adam for the gift. So it wasn't Adam who wanted to give it to himself. I'm not a jealous person, so why....

I still don't like the fact that my husband had to get a gunshot wound because of that girl. My husband is hurt because of him. I'm so angry and I want to kill him with my own hands." Claudia finally stopped talking.

Now all his friends are smiling like fools.

Rose, who was on the phone, began to say, "Claudia Wijaya, you should have heard all your own words five minutes ago. You speak like a wife. My God, dear Claudia, our super emotional best friend, our rock-head friend. You're finally in love. Falling in love with your wonderful husband."

"I've stopped him many times when we were going to have that relationship. He can always control himself. I can clearly feel his might and how his face looks desperate. But still, he never wanted to force me. He stopped everything when I asked for it." Said Claudia again.

Making Bam who is beside him giggling.

"Claudia baby, you're in love. Quickly tell him that you love him. Remember that your man is a limited edition man with a high fashion sense, a complete fondness and everything will not be available to other men. So make him yours or someone else will take him away from you." Said Diana who made the other friends laugh including Bam who sounded uproar beside Endra.

Suddenly Claudia saw one of the doctors coming out of the room with the rest of her team with some equipment in their hands. Claudia disconnects the call with her friends and runs impatiently.

"Doctor how is my husband?" Ask Claudia.

"Both bullets were removed. Mr. Adam has passed his critical period. The operation is almost complete, but Doctor Kevin is inside to finish his work so that there is nothing to worry about in the future with Mr. Adam's circumstances."

Claudia breathed a sigh of relief.

"Can I come in?" Ask again.

"Wait a few more minutes Miss, then you can come in." Answer one of the doctor's assistants.

"All right then." Reply Claudia.

Fifteen minutes later the doctor came out of the room and told Claudia and Naomi about Adam's condition.

The next morning Adam woke up with the first thing he saw was an adorable little arm holding him. Adam was so happy. Claudia fell asleep next to him and Adam started stroking Claudia's head.

The touch made Claudia wake up. Claudia sat down and looked at Adam. He rubbed his eyes and hoped what he saw was true.

"Good morning, dear. Did you sleep well? Are you hungry?" Ask Adam.

Claudia felt inexhaustible. The man in front of him was shot and last night just finished surgery and now the man in front of him is asking if he is okay or hungry.

"I'm going downstairs to get you some breakfast. After that we have to go to the hospital. Doctor Kevin says that your wound needs treatment for fear of getting an infection if it's not treated properly."

Claudia looked upset and angry.

"All right then. You can ask Megan to come and take care of you because I don't want to take care of a stubborn patient." Claudia said and headed to the bathroom.

Adam could not speak. He sighed and raised his hand in surrender.

Claudia had finished her bath and was getting ready to go to the hospital. He then returned to the room with a tray of food with a face that was not too friendly.

"So, are you ready to go to the hospital or not?" Ask Claudia.

"I'm going to go." Adam replies and is about to get closer to Claudia, but Claudia quickly dodges by displaying her angry face but the reality is not.

"I'll take your clothes."

Claudia came back from her room to Adam's room and chose clothes that were comfortable and could be used easily by Adam later back to her room. Adam has not touched his food at all.

Claudia frowned.

"You haven't eaten yet? My God, the food's getting cold." Claudia said as she sat next to Adam.

"Buap me, please! How can I eat with my left hand." Adam said with a face that looked pained and contrived and looked at Claudia for a moment.

Claudia finally feeds Adam and this is the first time she does it. Claudia was a little nervous, but she did not show it all to Adam and only showed her face that pretended to be angry.

"It's fast, put this on. Then we go." Claudia said while offering clothes to Adam.

Adam looked at Claudia once, then looked at her injured hand and then looked at Claudia again.

"Honey my hand is hurt. You gotta help me get dressed." Adam said with a naughty smile.

Claudia took a deep breath to control her expression. Her perverted husband started teasing her again. Claudia tried her best not to be tempted by the handsome and charming face displayed by her husband. And somehow he managed to do it.

"I'll ask for help." Claudia.

"Do you really want someone else to see your husband's body?"

Claudia gulps.

"All right, I'll help you." Claudia's reply was quick.

It's not an easy job for Claudia because Adam keeps teasing her. But things changed when Claudia was about to change her pants, Adam did not move in the slightest.

When claudia puts a short-sleeved shirt on Adam, Claudia looks at Adam's chest and appears speechless and unknowingly kisses Adam's left chest.

"Claudia Wijaya, you naughty girl. You're trying to tease me." Adam tried to hold back his laughter because he knew what was really going on.

Claudia's face reddened in embarrassment like a burning fire.

"That was unintentional, you know for yourself that I accidentally fell." Claudia tried to deny everything.

"How about we go to the hospital after that...??" Adam whispered in Claudia's ear in a seductive voice.

"Well! After what?" Claudia asked confusedly.

"After dessert. What say?" Adam again whispered in Claudia's ear with a voice that remained tempting to make Claudia understand what Adam wanted to say.

Claudia hit Adam in the chest.

"Stop joking. Let's hurry."

Claudia tried to maintain her angry expression, trying to avoid her husband who was already able to make herself tempted.

"Honey only my arm was hurt. The rest of my body is still as good as new. If you don't believe me. Why don't you look and try it yourself. Come on over here."

Claudia kept trying to look angry.

"In your dreams only. You perverted old man. Let's hurry we gotta go to the hospital now."

But Adam kept trying to tease Claudia.

"Dam, you're actually acting like a very perverted man today. Can you be more mature and gentlemanly. Can you get your hands off me."

"All right, I gave up. But I should have gotten an award for obeying all your orders. I haven't kissed you in four days." Adam said and without warning immediately pulled Claudia closer to him and kissed him.

Adam was so happy. Claudia herself began to feel her life was cheerful again.
