62. Adam Meet Sean

Adam is working in the office. He had to finish his work faster and go home. He couldn't keep Claudia alone for so long. She met Kim and Dom at lunch.

Suddenly she gets a call from her secretary Nadia.

"Hello Mr." Nadia.

"Yes, Nadia. What's up?" Reply Adam.

"Someone named Mr. Sean wants to meet you, sir. He says he wants to talk to you. But he doesn't have any appointments and you say that you are busy with your work. So I was thinking of calling Mr, do I have to ask him to make a meeting appointment tomorrow?" Ask Nadia.

On the other hand Adam fell silent and tried to calm down. Actually in his instinct, Adam had guessed that something like this would happen. Because just a while ago, a waiter from Claudia's old house called her and informed her about something.

Flashback about what happened a while ago...

"Master, today a man named Sean visited the house this morning. He came along with 4 men who looked like his bodyguards. He came and asked about Young Miss." Said the waiter.

"What did he really say?" Ask Adam. "What did he do after that, and what did you say to him?" Adam asked constantly

"Sir, he came first and went straight into the house without giving me time to react or stop him. Then he asked me to call Miss. But I said that...."

In Claudia's old house just a moment ago....

"Sorry sir, but who are you looking for?" Ask the waiter to a man who walked into Claudia's house and just sat down on the sofa.

The man looked handsome, powerful and cold, but he had no manners.

"I'm looking for Claudia Arista Setyawan. Call him and tell him I'm here. And tell me my name is Mr. Sean."

Sean's words sounded so rude and disrespectful. More like a boss who rules everything, as if the world is within his grasp. He ordered the servant without even considering using a polite word. "Adam Wijaya?" Sean kept saying that name.

'That officer. He wasn't on that team either, the girl's father, what her name was. His father was an officer and was their superior.... The colonel... But the officer named Adam was an orphan, right? He has no family or relationship with his love. Oh no, he's a businessman. Now how can they relate?'

"Why do you call him Sir?" Sean asked after thinking for a while.

The maid knew that Claudia and Adam were still hiding their marital status from a long time ago. The whole country knew that Adam was married. But no one knows Claudia's true identity.

'Is all this related? Is this man protecting Megan or Claudia? Was that man trying to block my way to meet Claudia? If all that's true it means that man is my main enemy.'

Until now Sean thought that Megan was the one whom Adam protected among his friends. They protect Megan because they think Sean might hurt Megan because of some kind of retaliation.

Sean's men then gave information about Adam after a while.

"Sir, here's the information..."

"Read it hard." Tell Sean.

Sean finally finds out that Adam quit the military, after the colonel dies. So did his friends and only will is still a member of the military. Adam became the richest man and the greatest businessman in the country. He is one of the most powerful people in this country. He could be said to be a disciple of papa Claudia. That was the only relationship between Claudia and Adam. The whole country knows that Adam has been married for the past 2 years but he kept it a secret until 1 month ago.

Sean couldn't guess any closer possibilities. He kept thinking what exactly the relationship between Adam and his love was.

"Okay, let him in." Adam told Nadia to let the guest into her room.

The door opened and there was the man Adam hated. The man went inside, walking upright with his hands in his pants pocket. His face that displayed a flat expression of his head that looked up arrogantly with his confidence.

Adam also looks the same, the difference is that he did not leave his sitting position. Adam also fixed the most comfortable position for himself to sit.

"For a long time did not see Mr. Adam." Sean spoke first and sounded so confident and powerful.

"Welcome Mr. Sean. Have seat. I'm still thinking what brought you here?" Adam's words were exactly the same as the high and powerful confidence Sean had shown earlier.

"Stop this shit. What is your relationship with Claudia Arista Setyawan? Who're you?" Said Sean directly without further ado.

Sean shook his head in confusion at first then said,

"Do you think I'm joking with you? Stop all this nonsense and answer the questions I ask." Sean yelled at Adam, but the expression on his face did not change too much.

What I said is all true. There was no one named Claudia Arista Setyawan. I think you've got the wrong information. Because the only Claudia I know is....

Claudia Wijaya, my wife.."

Adam said the name and information proudly as he mentioned the word wife.

It made Sean look surprised, his face was shocked.

"Your wife? You mean she married you? Huh, really?" Sean seemed to disbelieve and ridicule Adam.

But Adam did not lose his patience. He remained relaxed and sat down with a smile until he got a phone call. The two men looked at the screen of Adam's phone, which showed his nickname on the screen..

Adam smiled and pressed the speaker button on purpose.

"Hello dear." An adorable voice rang out from Adam's phone, making Adam look at Sean first before replying.

" Yes, baby, what's wrong? Are you bored at home? Do I have to send you some snacks or whatever?" Adam said to his wife in a normal tone, just as he did every time and seemed unconcerned with the man in front of him.

"No dear, I'm fine. Brother Jolie and sister Nina came here. They're visiting me, so they're here with me now, don't worry. But baby, I want to tell you something." Claudia.

"What is that, baby?" Ask Adam.

"Honey, he came this morning to see me at home. The guard came and informed me, he wants to talk to me. But I refused, I didn't even let him into the house. He looks so haughty. How could he come to someone's house and order to meet with the owner of the house. He couldn't even be polite to the guards. He was also being disrespectful to the waiter in my old house. Adam could not help but laugh too loudly. Adam doesn't plan this, he keeps the speaker on his phone to let Sean listen to their loving conversation. But not with this. How could Claudia think of shaving Sean bald.

'I think it's a very good idea' Adam thought as Claudia spoke again.

"I'm aaaaang are you listening to me?" Claudia shouted impatiently.

"Dear, I'm listening to you. I was just imagining how he was with his bald head." Adam said while looking at Sean with mocking eyes and trying to think about how Sean would look if he looked bald seriously.

Sean was speechless, his face showing no expression. But from his eyes it was clear that he was so angry.

"Dam stop, do it next time. Now listen to me." Claudia's Word.

"Okay, baby, say it." Reply Adam.

"When are you going home? I miss you, you know." Claudia said in an adorable voice.

Adam really wanted to eat his sweet wife. He's too adorable to hear talk like that.

"I'm almost done, baby. Don't worry, I'll be back home after lunch and well, one more thing. I'll send someone to bring you some of your favorite snacks and ice cream okay. Have fun with them there, I love you baby, bye." Adam Say.

"Okay baby, I love you too bye, hurry home." Reply Claudia.

After the phone connection was cut off, Adam finally looked at Sean.

Sean was still sitting there, silent for a while without saying or doing anything and then he stood firmly staring at Adam full of anger.

"Mister Adam's wrong action, you've made a terrible mistake. She is mine.

He was the guilty first. I asked him to wait for me, but he didn't. He can't move on from me. He cannot marry anyone else. He can't do all this. He is mine, and only mine. I'm not going to give myself up for something that's pointless.

I'll make him mine, he'll have to come back to me. I did everything for him, he couldn't leave me like this.

And you, you're gonna die any minute. Just wait. First I'll get him back to me and then I'll kill you with my own hands.

I'll tell you, start counting the days of your death from today. If he's dead and only a few days left." Sean said, looking at Adam with anger.

But Adam was not hooked at all. There was no fear in his eyes or expression. He never feared death. How could the man think that someone who was in the military a few years, someone who had survived the battlefield, someone who had just been shot a few months ago this would be afraid of death.

Sean could have threatened her. But Adam would never let him hurt his wife. Even if he had to die, Adam promised to secure his wife's life. And Adam was fighting for it and he almost managed to do it, just a few weeks away.

Adam shook his head and smiled as he was not provoked at all.

Sean left the room at a quick pace and as he walked out, he damaged a vase located near the door.

When Adam returns home after meeting with Dom and Kim, they prepare all their relationships and contacts quickly. Adam is preparing something before the worst happens to protect Claudia. So Sean won't be able to touch him, but even if Sean can get Claudia, Adam has already prepared a way to fight him. At least that's what Adam tried.

Adam and Claudia have a romantic time both of them when Claudia gets a message from an unknown number.

But one interesting thing, Sean's weakness this time was the adorable voice of Claudia. The first time he met Claudia back then, Claudia was still a girl who was thin on speaking. But now Sean will listen to Claudia's very adorable and friendly voice.

Adam was thinking about how Sean would react if he met Claudia in person.

Sean still had no idea how tall and big Claudia was at the moment, or whether Sean had ever thought about it. Adam never thought that Claudia would turn out like this. Adam laughs to imagine Claudia shaving Sean bald as he continues to curse Sean who has disturbed his life and then Claudia who will apply the art she has in Sean's head.
