36. New Cosmetics

They finally got off the helicopter and walked towards the parking lot where their car was.

Kim and Dom walk to their car with their respective partners after saying goodbye to Adam, Claudia and Megan.

Adam and the two girls also went to their car. Megan walks first, followed by Claudia and Adam who walk behind her.

Megan opened the door in the driver's side seat and entered it.

"Hurry Aunt Claudia, it's late at night. You're sleepy, aren't you? You can rest in the back seat freely. That's why I'm taking a sitting position in front." Megan.

Claudia looked surprised.

'Of course I know it's late. He thought, what is he doing now. I am Adam's wife. I'm the one who should be sitting in that chair, not him. Aaargghh, this girl is starting to piss me off.' Claudia thought.

Adam hurried to open the back door for his wife, just as he usually did. He reached out his left hand to help Claudia get on top of the car. Claudia looked at Adam angrily.

'Wow, is the girl so important that she can't ask him to sit on the back bench?' claudia thought before ignoring Adam's hand and got into the car.

That's when Adam realized that his wife was upset.

He leaned over, stuffed his head into the car and asked.

"What's the matter, baby?" Ask Adam.

Claudia leaned her head against the car seat and closed her eyes.

"Nothing, just sleepy." Reply without opening your eyes.

But, instead of hearing the sound of the car door closing, Claudia felt Adam's breath blowing around her neck. Claudia opened her eyes and found that Adam was so close to her that he was putting his seatbelt on, finishing the job he used to do. He then raised Claudia's head, then kissed her lips quickly.

"All right, I'm trying to get us home as soon as possible, okay. Just rest here for a while." Adam rubbed Claudia's cheek and closed the car door and hurried to sit in the driver's seat.

The car was speeding away in the darkness. Sitting in the back seat, Claudia looked out the window. There was only darkness, he was still awake. The light of other car lights that occasionally appear to illuminate the streets.

Sitting next to the driver's seat, the young girl had been talking and giggling with Adam about this and that. Adam did not fight him to speak. Only occasionally replied, 'hmmm' and 'yes' only.

What Claudia does not realize is that since then the husband continues to see his condition through the windshield of the car. Check if he is sleeping or not. "Wait a minute, it's very dark outside. Let me walk you to your apartment door." Adam Say.

'Taking you to the apartment door? Huh, you think I'm that stupid? The night watchman must have gone around securing this entire area. What danger is there here? Hah, a good night kiss maybe, yeah right. It must have been.' Claudia thought with an increasingly irritated feeling.

Claudia was completely unaware that Adam after getting out of the car, first looked at her. To ascertain whether Claudia was sleeping soundly or not. He then left slowly and quietly so as not to wake his wife.

It had been twenty minutes, Claudia was still waiting in the car. But there was no sign of Adam. He was very curious, as well as feeling fooled.

'That bastard must be sleeping with that girl. Well, of course. After all since this morning he was so naive. Then what am I supposed to do now? Waiting for him until he finishes making love?'

Claudia was so upset, she got out of the car full of anger. Look around the area once more, then walk out towards the residential gate.

Ten minutes later, his phone rang. A call from Adam. Claudia rolled her eyes lazily then answered the call. But he had not been able to say something, the man across the phone first spoke.

"Love, where are you?" Claudia could feel the panic from Adam's voice.

"I was walking home, of course. Do you think I'll wait for you two to finish making love. Or do you think that I'm going upstairs to watch that adult scene you two did in person?" Claudia Shouts.

For a moment, Adam was silent at the words of his wife.

"Love, I saw two strangers around her apartment. So I just...." Adam couldn't finish his sentence because their phone connection was cut off.

He kept calling a few times after that. But Claudia kept refusing calls from him.

Claudia was trying to book a taxi for herself. But, the online taxi application did not go well because Adam who kept calling made the network bad. Claudia was feeling desperate at this moment.

"Basar Adam Wijaya bastard. What's your problem, huh? I'm here to order a taxi for myself. But you're ruining my cell phone network. Stop calling me." Claudia shouted while answering Adam's call and the phone connection was cut off.

'Did Adam decide on his call? Damn it.' he swore in the heart.

But after that, a car stopped right in front of him. The lights were so dazzling to Claudia's eyes, making her turn around and close her eyes as she walked away.

Someone gets out of the car, now Claudia realizes that the man is her husband. Adam walked up to Claudia and pulled her arm to go with her into the car.

"Take me off. I don't want to get in your car. I don't want to go back to your house. Let go of me Adam. Aaaargggh...."

But Claudia finally got into the car and Adam had already quickly fitted a seat belt on her. When Claudia managed to reopen it and wanted to get out of the car, Adam had already quickly locked the car door.

Claudia could do nothing, she just looked out the window with an angry expression while Adam put his seatbelt back on.

"Love, she's just a little girl that the four of us raised together. You shouldn't talk like that about the two of us. I am his Om. And I treated him like a nephew. I just checked the security of the area where he lived, and talked to the security of the place. He lives like that, baby. Some of his enemies still threaten him.

Adam still stood in front of the door and kept knocking on it a few times. But Claudia did not open it at all. Adam went back to his room. He could not sleep, then his hands turned to rub the corners of his eyes, he did not realize that the corners of his eyes felt wet. But one thing he realized was, he missed Claudia so much. It had become her habit to sleep with Claudia who was in her arms. He knew he couldn't sleep, but kept trying. He then recalled the curse Claudia had given him then sighed imagining how he planned to spend a romantic evening with Claudia but instead ended up sleeping alone.

Claudia woke up late the next morning. He did it on purpose so that there was no need to meet Adam. He then came down from the room for breakfast. Adam had already left for the office.

Claudia herself seemed to miss the warm embrace and greeting that Adam always did at the dinner table.

Claudia was busy munching on the bread, which was given chocolate jam, when a personal bodyguard of Adam suddenly came to her.

"Good morning Young Miss. It's for you. The boss sent it." He said as he placed a paper bag on the table and bowed in greeting to Claudia.

Claudia looked into the paper bag, there was a set of perfumes. He did not recognize the brand of the perfume at all. But there are four sets of different scents. And the brand of it all is 'D'care'. Claudia had never heard of the brand at all.

"I don't want to accept it. Send it back to your boss." Claudia then went back to eating her bread.

The bodyguard looked nervous, he seemed to gulp before speaking.

"Miss, this is a gift from the Boss, special to you. The boss prepared it himself. The boss never chooses or buys gifts for others personally. The feeling of the middle Boss has not been good since this morning. But after the Boss saw all this, the Boss became excited and looked happy." Said the waiter trying to explain about his boss.

Claudia laughed a little.

"really? Be happy? How the hell did you know? Is he smiling?" Claudia asked to investigate the bodyguard.

"And what about Megan? How did he pick a gift for her?" Ask Claudia.

"The boss also chose him as well. But, Miss, there's something special..." The bodyguard could not explain that the gift was a special one because Claudia had already raised her hand which made the bodyguard stop talking.

Claudia found out about the brand after reading a paper in the paper bag.

D'care is the latest cosmetics brand that has just been introduced by AW group, Adam's company dedicated to the beloved Queen, Claudia Wijaya. Adam himself gave the brand name. Only a few close friends and employees know about it. Where others think that D is for Dam, or stands for the name Adam, which is actually D it for Di or the abbreviation of the name Claudia.

Adam wanted Claudia to have the first sample of the perfume. The four scents of the perfume were dedicated specifically to Claudia.

Not only that, there are several other cosmetic products that are under the new brand.

"But I don't want this. Now tell me, what should I do? I don't like any of this. Do I have to keep it from ignoring my dislike? No don't you? So take all this away." Claudia said with a smile full of falsehood.

"Emmmm Miss, it would be best if you yourself went to the office to return everything to Master. Master will kill me if I return this myself to him."

Claudia rolled her lazy eyes while standing up.

"Well, I'll go alone." Claudia said annoyedly.
