The truth (Chapter 25)

This is where I am today, in a room that all looks green, the room is also the clothes worn by the Doctor and his team. In fact, I was wearing similar clothes.

I was given a thick blanket and a catheter. After being asked to tilt to the right, my legs were bent and slightly bent.

I was alone, there was no one I knew accompanying me in this very creepy room.

But the next minute, I felt more dizzy and suddenly lost my consciousness.

I woke up and realized that I was in the treatment room with an oxygen hose attached to my nose. And the first person I saw was Jack, my brother.

"Thank God, you're finally conscious." Jack rubbed my head gently. "Wait a minute, I'll call the doctor." Continue while leaving the room.

I remember, during my unconsciousness, I felt like I was meeting Mama and Papa. I even felt like I was going back in time where I first met Arnold. I was so happy that I didn't want to wake up from that dream.

Shortly the doctor came, and explained my condition. And, what struck me was that I had been unconscious for three days, because of the bleeding that occurred during the big operation.

I remember vividly, the very emotional times on the eve of the big surgery in the morning. The doctor tells you the worst possible outcome of the surgery later.

"If the cancer that is attached to the uterus is large and sticks too deep, it may not be removed so it cannot be dissected. Because cervical cancer is attached once in the uterus and bladder, so must be carefully dissected. If something goes wrong, it will cause the sewer to be disrupted." Said the Doctor at the time.

Not to mention after the surgery, I had to do chemotherapy and radiation again. All this made me feel worse and blame God. But, slowly I began to accept and reap the wisdom of what God has outlined for me.

After undergoing surgical removal of the uterus, I underwent a series of outpatients. I had to adjust some of the changes that happened to my body, I also needed time to return to normal walking exercises, doing certain sports to relax the muscles, and adjust to the new cycle of excretion.

Today I was surprised by Merry coming to the hospital that was overseas where I had surgery.

"I miss you." Merry said as he hugged me who was sitting leaning on the hospital bed.

I'm just smiling. I can see from the look in Merry's eyes, he looks different and he seems happy. It's certain that her relationship and Hansen's improved.

"How are you feeling?" Ask Merry.

"I'm good." Short reply.

My curiosity about what happened in Ternate made me ask Merry.

"What's the situation in Ternate?" My toot.

"Everything changed." Merry's reply made me curious. "As Jack told me. The day after I was released, I called Arnold and told him that you were dead in your house alone." Merry continues.

"Do you know Velicia, I called Arnold right on her wedding day. And Arnold eventually annulled his marriage to Viona. Your lawyer came by when everyone gathered at your house. The lawyer read out your will and told Arnold that all the PINs you're wearing are 1122." Merry.

I remember Arnold was always confused by my PIN number. He once asked me if there was any special meaning. I said just wear it.

Merry continued her story.

"Arnold seemed to feel a deep sadness in his heart, he blamed himself for everything he did to you. Then I whispered a sentence in Arnold's ear. I told you you weren't dead, but only coca after the surgery. I clearly saw Arnold's eyes immediately look colored, but the sentence I said next hit him falling into the abyss. Honestly, I was surprised at Arnold's attitude.

Why should he be sad about my departure? Doesn't he love me? He even cancelled his wedding. Wh-wh-what for?

Merry broke my daydream by continuing her story.

"I want to go back to Ternate." I said to Jack who had also listened to Merry's story.

"Why are you back for? You better stay with me." Jack.

"No Jack. I have to straighten things out." My reply.

"You have nothing left. It's not like you've given up all yours to Arnold. Who are you going back there for? Do you want to see Arnold or Andreas?"

Jack's question made me realize. That I gave it all up to Arnold. But, it's not that I'm not dead. After all, my main purpose is not for the treasure anymore. I just want to see Andreas.

"I'm going to see Andreas." I answered Jack.

Jack and Merry who heard my answer just fell silent.
