The Andreas Fetch (Chapter 38)

I've never heard Jack's voice so high before.

"Who did you dare forbid me to meet him? You're just Arista's family's pick-up boy. And keep one thing in mind, I can get you out of business right now. Did you forget now I'm the one in control of Arista's group. So I can do anything to you that only works with Arista's group." Arnold.

My blood was boiling hearing Arnold's words. He could have threatened Jack like that.

"Go now. Oh yeah, one thing you need to know. No matter how you try to ruin my family and company relationship with Arista group, I don't care. Do everything you want to do. But, I guarantee Velicia will never come back to you. Now go before I run out of patience. Because I don't care if I have to go to jail just for beating your stupid face." Jack said as he pushed Arnold's body violently.

Arnold fell down, he became emotional. I saw him from the bed immediately screamed as Arnold tried to throw his punch at Jack.

"Stop...." My yelling.

Arnold stopped the action just as his fist was right in front of Jack's face.

"I beg you to get out of here Arnold." My speech. "Or I'll never see your face again." Continue me.

"Because you're asking, I'm leaving. But, I'll come back to see you." Arnold replies and leaves.

Jack looks to fix his collar. Merry was silent beside me. Jack walked towards me.

"Don't think about anything he says. I don't care anymore if my company goes bankrupt, as long as you don't get in touch with that guy." Jack.

"But Jack...."

"Don't talk anymore." Jack interrupted me. "I told you already. I don't care anymore, as long as my brother is happy." Jack continued, rubbing my head gently.

Jack easily said that. But I wouldn't be able to take it, if the company Jack had built was going to be destroyed just because of me.

Today, I finally got out of the hospital. After the previous Jack insisted on asking me to stay for 2 days for treatment. And last night Jack flew back to his town.

Accompanied by Merry, I walked out of the hospital. Right at the hospital exit, Andreas stood up with a smile. He was wearing a grey shirt and black trousers. He also holds a white rose.

Slowly Andreas walked up to me and thrust the white rose.

"Forku?" My speech.

Andreas nodded with a smile. His smile that always made my heart beat so fast.

"Come with me." Andreas said as he extended his hand towards me.

I looked back where Merry was standing with me.

"Go away..." Merry smiled.

I turned around and grabbed Andreas' hand, then walked into his car. The car left the parking lot at the hospital.

We both fell silent, not a word coming out of our mouths after the car came out of the hospital. I don't know where he's taking me. I was embarrassed to ask him too. All I can do now is to endure the turmoil in the chest.

My heart beat tightened, as Andreas glanced at me. He wanted to say something, but he probably felt the same way as me. Shame to start the conversation.

"Where are you taking me?" I finally opened the conversation.

After 30 minutes, we finally arrived at a playground that as I remembered it had long been abandoned. Andreas got out of the car and ran around to the door beside me and opened it.

"Let's get the little girl out." He said as he spread his hand.

I greet Andreas' hands with great joy. We then walked through the playground gates with our hands hooked together. The flowers Andreas gave me, I left them in the car.

"Little girl, do you remember this place?" Ask Andreas.

My memories go back to the past. Where this playground is a place that I often visit with Andreas. In addition to our old school, this playground is the second place for us to spend time together.

"I remember. But, why are we here? Isn't this place closed?" My toot.

"Who said it was closed? Just look at." Said Andreas while pointing towards the signboard of the playground.

I was so surprised to see the sign that it said, 'Velicia in the Wonderland.'

"What's this?" I said with stammering.

"Let's come with me." Andreas instead of answering my question, pulled me deeper into the playground.

We walked through various food and beverage stands and other snacks. What made me even more astonished was that there were no other visitors besides the two of us in this place. Except, the stand guards and game operators.

Andreas gave me a pink teddy bear-shaped cotton candy, exactly like it used to be.

After walking a few meters, we finally arrived right in front of the ring. A man came with a map and gave it to Andreas.

"Let's go up." Take Andreas without waiting for my approval to pull my hand up to the ring.

The bianglala began to spin slowly. I sat facing Andreas in silence. The look in our eyes clashed, he then gave the map that a man had given me.

"What's this?" My toot.

"Read it." Answer's short.

I opened the blue map and started reading it. After reading it for a while, I stare at Andreas.

"What does all this mean?" I asked again to hold back the tears that were about to shed.

"Did you remember? We used to sit in exactly the same place we are today." Answer Andreas.

I just nodded.

"Did you also remember what you said? You told me you wanted to have your own playground so you could play." Andreas Said. "And right on your 20th birthday, I bought this special playground for you as a gift from me." Continue Andreas with his gaze turning towards the scenery below.

"But I never dared to give it to you because I was too late. Your status has changed to my sister-in-law." Andreas said, which made me even more silent. "When you turn 15, Great Lord Setyawan asked me to continue my education abroad. After I refused to take care of the company." It was seen from Andreas' eyes that he was so depressed.

"I never wanted to continue his company because it hurt too many others. Big Master Setyawan is a man who is willing to do anything for the sake of his company." Andreas again.
