Chapters 74. Second Chance

Farhan seemed to be quietly bowed after everything was gone. I don't believe what he heard. Andin who he knew was no better than Rachel.

Sister Nazwa and Alya also seemed a little shocked to hear that fact. He couldn't believe Andin was like that.

"Now you can see for yourself why mom and dad didn't approve of your relationship. As parents, surely father and mother have had an ugly premonition regarding Andin. Lucky you did not marry Andin who turned out his body has been tasted and owned by many men" said Alya.

"I'm sorry, Chel. During our marriage I always hurt your heart. Just tell Chel what you hate most about my attitude, so I can change it" Farhan said.

"Mas, I love all your attitude. You are so gentle and pamper me. It's the only one I don't like about you, Mom," Rachel said.

"Say me, Chel. Let me change it" said Farhan.

Rachel took a breath, and looked at her husband's face. There were doubts he was looking for to be frank. However, if he did not dare to say so, Farhan would not change his nature of it.

"I don't like you compared to any woman, Mom. If she is the best woman in your opinion, why did you choose me? I hope you never compare me again, because I realize there is nothing to be proud of me. Each person is different, and has their own story, me with my strengths and him with his own strengths. Life is a journey not a comparison so do not compare the process with my process. Because even though we stand on the same earth, but have their own destiny" said Rachel.

Farhan immediately recalled the moment he was angry with Rachel, just because of a broken picture frame. Lucky when Rachel killed herself, her life was still helped.

Rachel's eyes glazed over, only the first time her husband said love. It might not hurt to give someone a second chance.

"In life, if you are able to learn to be more accepting than overly hopeful, you will have fewer disappointments. Never be afraid to start again because it means you get a second chance to make something better. The second chance is an apology, both for ourselves and for others so that we can both return to where everything began" Rachel muttered to herself.

When your love goes away from someone, there are certainly many reasons behind it. Either because of differences or different paths between you and him. But behind the breakup does not mean the end of everything. There is still a second chance that will knock someone's heart out. This can be a testament to the seriousness of the heart.

Sometimes forgiving and giving someone a second chance is not because we are stupid. However, it must be remembered, if we have been given a second chance, never repeat the same mistake. Only fools fall both times in the same place.

Meanwhile, Alex takes Andin to one of the nearby cafes from the hospital. Grecia has fallen asleep. It is currently in Alex's lap.

"I want you to stay away from Farhan and never bother Rachel. You'll be dealing with me if you hurt that woman!" said Alex.

"There's actually a connection between you and Rachel. He's not your foster brother, is he? She was your bedside?" ask Andin with a smile.

Alex instead of answering Andin's question, he even stared at the woman's face intensely.
