Chapter 42. Unwanted Guests

After a week in the hospital, Rachel is finally allowed to return home. Since she asked to separate, her husband did not say much. Just as necessary.

On the way to the apartment, Rachel finally opened her voice again. They should talk, the woman thought.

"Mas, shouldn't I look for a contract. No need to go back to the apartment again" said Rachel.

His words made Farhan surprised, until he stepped on the brake. Luckily there were no opponents and the car was running slowly.

"What do you mean, Chel?" ask Farhan.

"Aren't we going to split up, we better not stay one more roof" said Rachel, and it made Farhan even more shocked.

"Who will separate. Have I ever said talaq? Never has it?" ask Farhan again.

"But I want us to separate," said Rachel softly.

"Don't start another fight, Chel. No one should be separated" Farhan said.

He drove his car back to the apartment. Arriving at the parking lot, Farhan opened the door for his wife. Carrying all the luggage.

Rachel walked in lethargy. She reluctantly steps into the apartment, due to too many bitter memories there. His chest was tight when he remembered that day.

Rachel went straight into the room. It felt like he was shouting to release all the burdens in his heart. Farhan put the bag in the room. He approached his wife who was sitting by the window.

"Rest. Let me cook dinner for us." The man then kissed his wife on the forehead before stepping out of the room. His attitude remains sweet and gentle. But for Rachel, it means nothing anymore.

Half an hour passed, Rachel heard a bell ringing. He wanted to open the door, but it seemed that Farhan had done it first.

Rachel peeked out from behind the bedroom door, wondering who was visiting. Since they got married, no one has come to visit.

Seeing the noise, Rachel grew curious. Get out of the room. How surprised the woman saw the guest who came turned out all Farhan's friends including Andin. Rachel simply gave a smile to Reno.

"Sorry, maybe our arrival is very disturbing. I was forced to join because I didn't want to happen at the villa when the honeymoon happened. Where they ignore your presence. What else is there Andin. I know you must be very uncomfortable with our arrival." That's the message Rachel got. After reading it Rachel just gave a smile even though it might not look because she was wearing a veil.

Reno and Rachel have previously chatted, only to exchange mobile numbers. So they have kept each other's numbers.

After Farhan invited everyone to sit down, Rachel sat down with them. Her husband still stands.

"You guys sit down first. I made you some drinking water. What do you want to drink?" ask Farhan.

Yuni, Mia and Andin looked at each other. Andin who was carrying his son then stood up.

"Mia, please carry my son. You just sit down. Let me make the water drink. There are girls here, but guys who go to the kitchen" he said, looking at Rachel.

"Don't say that, Andin. Don't equate your husband with Farhan. He may have always united his wife. Everything was done by himself because he did not want his wife tired. Is that right, Rachel?" ask Mia.

"It's lucky Rachel got a husband like Farhan. But Rachel must still remind nature as a wife?" yuni asked with lips pout.

Reno knows for sure at this time, Rachel is starting to get uncomfortable with her best friend's mouth. He deliberately joined when Dodi asked because he knew how presumptuous his friends, what else is there now Andin. In the car, Andin also told me that he and Rachel had met and said that the woman was very arrogant and jealous of him.

"Sorry, no offense to Rachel. He just got back from the hospital. You sit down first, I help Rachel make water first" Farhan said. The man then headed for the kitchen following Rachel.
