Chapter 2 S2. Doesn't Like to be Followed
Currently Dita her children Reno and Yuni also attended school at Axel's place. Although they are one year adrift, but they go to school at the same rate because Dita is too fast to go to school. It's because of the kindergarten time she cried wanted to go to school at Axel's place.
Axel sat at his study table and tried to focus on his lessons, but his gaze kept on Dita who was sitting right behind him. The girl always follows Axel in school, even when the man tries to dodge.
Axel shook his head as Dita started whispering to him. "What did you learn?" ask her a little annoyed.
"Mathematics," Dita replied with a grin. "I don't like this lesson, so I'm just watching you."
Axel snarling. "Why don't you just study?" he shouted with fire.
"You're more interesting" replied Dita. "I love watching you when you work or study."
Axel looked at the girl impatiently. "I'm sorry, but I don't like it if you follow me at school" she said firmly. "I want to have time to focus on my lessons and not be distracted."
Dita nodded and pursed her lips slightly. "I'm sorry, Axel," he said sadly. "I just want to be friends with you."
Axel rolled his eyes and looked around. "You can find another friend." The answer. "I'm sure you have a lot of friends besides me."
Dita shook her head. "No, I don't have many friends other than you" he said honestly. "We've been together ever since I was a kid, so I feel good about you."
Axel felt a little moved to hear it, but he still disliked the fact that Dita kept following him at school. He was troubled by his existence that always followed him wherever he went.
As the lesson bell rang, Axel stood up and carried his books. As he walked away, Dita followed behind him.
Axel jumped up and looked at Dita. "That's enough, Dita!" he yelled in annoyance. "I don't want you to follow me at school or wherever I go. You make me uncomfortable."
"You're not a child anymore, try to get along with the others, Dita," Axel whispered sadly. "Come, wake up and find a new friend who will make you happy."
Dita nodded and then walked away with her head down.
At home, Axel's father asks him why he is upset and Axel tells him about Dita who always follows him in school.
His father understood and invited Axel to consider Dita's feelings. "He always admired you, Axel," he said gently. "Maybe you can figure out a way to help her find a new friend."
"He's not a kid anymore. You should be able to find your own friends!" axel replied still with his frustration.
Rachel, who had just finished cleaning the table for dinner, approached her son. Hugged the man's shoulder.
"You should understand if Dita was from childhood accustomed to you. What's wrong with him always following you?" rachel asked softly.
"I don't like it, Ma. My friends later thought he was my girlfriend. I want to be friends with others too. If he keeps following where I go, how can I play with the others. All this time I don't mind, but this time I want papa and mama to talk about this with Dita or Aunt Yuni" said Axel again.
"Are you bothered that there's another woman you like?" ask Rachel.
Axel just kept quiet. He wanted to get close to one of his classmates. It's all hard because Dita always follows where she goes.
