Chapter 30 S2. Gafi Graduation

"Are you sure you don't have to pick up tomorrow?" ask Gafi.

She planned to pick up the girl so she could go together to college, but Dita refused. He did not want to trouble Gafi. Is not he who will be graduated, and it is impossible to be bothered, thought Dita.

"You're not gonna change your mind, are you?" ask Gafi. He was worried, Dita's refusal only to disappear and not come.

Dita smiled and grabbed Gafi's hand, then grabbed him. He put it on the chest.

"Sister, I never reneged on my promise. If I say yes, I won't change. If I said I was going, I would come" Dita said.

"I'm happy to make Brother Gafi happy. Two years we were close, never did Sister Gafi do anything that made me angry and hurt. Gafi's sister is always there when I need something. What I did by attending Kak Gafi's graduation ceremony was not quite what with everything Brother did for me" said Dita.

Gafi replied to all of Dita's words by nodding his head in agreement. He then kissed Dita's hand.

"Thank you for coming to celebrate my special day and make me feel special. Thank you, that's all I can say to you, dear friend."

"Sister, don't say thank you. This is not how much my sister has done to me over the past two years" said Dita

Dita was very grateful to be reunited with Gafi. The man taught Dita many things . He gave the girl the freedom to do anything, and she always supported him.

"I should say thank you for wanting to be my best friend. Thank you for being part of my life. Thank you for keeping me company when I'm down to comfort me when I'm sad and hurt. Thank you, sister, how grateful I am to have a friend like Kak Gafi. Brother is the best friend I have ever known. Thank you for wanting to be my true friend regardless of my ugliness and accept myself for who I am" said Dita.

At nine o'clock in the evening, Gafi said goodbye. He's headed for the hotel where the whole big exit was staying.

Without answering the man's question, Dita immediately stepped back to leave the lovers.
