Chapter 23. Jealous

Rachel just kept quiet, not responding to Reno's words. He gulped down the drinking water until it ran aground.
"Rachel, did you forget me?" ask Reno.
Rachel stared at the man intensely. "What do you mean?" ask Rachel.
"I'm sure it's you!" say Reno again.
He stared at the face of his best friend Farhan for quite a while. But I also didn't get an answer.
"Have we met?" ask Rachel.
Reno just nodded her head. As he was about to answer, four of his friends, including Farhan, walked in to Reno and Rachel.
"The two of you seem to be very familiar" said Mia.
Farhan immediately hugged Rachel's shoulder. He stared at Reno as if asking for an answer. His gaze was so sharp that it was like the mrnghujam of a soul.
"What are you talking about with Reno, Chel?" ask Farhan.
Reno smiled obliquely at Farhan's question. Admittedly or not, Reno can read if her friend is jealous. Actually the man had fallen in love with his wife, only he was ashamed to admit. Maybe he wants to shake off his feelings by trying to remember Andin, when he loves his wife.
"I'm not talking about anything. Just saying hello. It just so happened that I was thirsty, and it turned out that there was Mas Reno here. I'm saying goodbye, Mas."
Rachel let go of Farhan's embrace, walking away from all her friends. Rachel's husband was still staring at Reno.
"Honestly Reno, do you know Rachel?" ask Farhan at last.

Dodi, Yuni and Mia were silent. From the time of college, Reno and Farhan always had different opinions. Reno always said what she was, which sometimes made Farhan uncomfortable.

"Already, Ren. We haven't been together for two years, don't be damaged by quarrels and arguments" Dodi said.
"Love and admire someone is not a sin because it comes from the heart, without our control" said Farhan.
"That means admiring and loving another woman is not a sin?" ask Reno to make sure.
"No, you can ask another Ustadz if you want to know. It becomes a sin if love is continued by works. For example going or dating and approaching the woman" said Farhan.
"If the love or admiration of another woman makes the wife's heart sick and wounded, is it also innocent?" reno asked with a still smiling smirk.
Dodi is back nearing Reno. Noticing the bad between the two. I don't want the events to happen again. Mia and Yuni approach Farhan and invite him to leave the kitchen.
"We should all rest. We must all be tired" Yuni said.
"Farhan, yuk rest. Your wife must have been waiting" said Mia.
Everyone finally walked away. But just a few steps, Reno's voice spoke quite loudly.
"I'm sure you know that everything you do to your wife is a sin. It is illegal for a husband to treat his wife arbitrarily, hurt her heart, let alone make her cry. Will be hated by God and get a big sin that makes his body rejected into heaven" Reno said in a loud voice.
"You taught me not to approach your wife, because it's not a mahram. While you were in contact with Mia and Yuni, you didn't realize that they weren't mahrams to you either, even if they were friends. Don't remind someone if you don't do it yourself!" say Reno again.
After that, he went into the room. No matter what the four friends think. She dislikes Farhan's treatment of Rachel, because she can see the wound in her eyes even though her lips are always smiling.
