Chapter 22. The Shackles of the Past

Rachel eventually breaks into the room, letting her husband and friend stay there. Farhan and the others decided to sit in the garden that was behind the villa.

"It's all because of you, Han. We didn't know you were coming with your wife. If we knew you were going on your honeymoon, where would you like to go" Yuni said.

Farhan scratched his non-itchy head. He was wrong not to say anything about his marriage and his wife.

"It's not just Farhan's fault. Supposedly once you know he's coming with his wife, you should be able to keep your distance and sayings. From the beginning you always talked about Andin. Try to be in the position of Rachel, would you not be angry and hurt if your husband and friends only discuss their past" Reno said.

After saying those words Reno said goodbye to go to the room and rest. She saw Rachel peeking out of the window. It was obvious that the woman was wiping her tears.

Rachel came out of her room. He's feeling thirsty. He didn't realize Reno was in the kitchen. As she poured her glassy water, Reno's greeting shocked Rachel. Almost the glass in his hand fell.

"Rachel, I know your silence at this time is disappointed with Farhan's attitude. I believe that being disappointed but not angry is great patience. I also understand, your silence right now is the deepest form of disappointment. But not forever SILENCE IS GOLD. Sometimes we have to talk to resuscitate someone whose heart has been blinded by love, and shackled by the past, unfinished by the old story" Reno said.
