Chapter 38 S2. I'm sorry, Dita!

That night, Gafi invited Dita to relax by the beach and watch the beautiful night sky full of stars. Dita who was initially reluctant, finally tempted by Gafi's invitation and agreed to go together.

Gafi did not take him home, he took the girl to the beach. Spend the night together.

Arriving at the beach, they turned off the car engine and guided their steps to the beach. Warm beach sand stuck to the skin of Dita's feet, making her feel comfortable and relaxed.

Dita sat near Gafi while looking at the night sky that was so charming. Then, Gafi started talking about stars and the space world is quite interesting. Dita who initially was not so interested, eventually became engrossed with Gafi's story.

Gafi tells the story of a wide variety of stars and planets, such as Ursa Major and Andromeda that can be seen clearly in the night sky. He also told me about the galaxies in the space world and their beautiful colors. Over time, they exchanged stories about their lives and dreams.

"We, what do you think of those who marry young?" ask Gafi.

"If both are ready, why not? It is better to marry young, let the child grow up, we are still healthy" replied Dita.

"Next month you're 20 years old and I'm 23, do you think we're young?" ask Gafi again.

"Mature is not just about age; it's about responsibility and experience. Your attitude determines how young or old you feel. So, maintain a positive mindset," replied Dita.

"This is what made me fall in love with you, your attitude that is so mature and can accept all exams patiently." Gafi carried Dita into his arms. They both sat in the sand.

"I can't promise to be the best. But I promise to always be with you. I want you to know that I always put hope into a thousand specks of rain in silence. I want my days ahead with you. I love you, and I will love you to death. If there's a life after that, I'll love you again."

Dita was surprised but smiled. He seemed very happy to hear Gafi's words. He felt like the night sky was filled with stars above their heads.

Gafi grabbed Dita's hand and they hugged each other. They saw the beautiful night sky together before finally returning home.

Arriving home, they hug each other and Gafi gives a warm kiss on the girl's forehead. Dita feels that she has found someone truly worthy of her love, someone who understands her and makes her feel special.

That night by the beach will always be remembered by Dita and Gafi throughout their lives. It was a night that opened the door to a new storyline in their lives. A night filled with beauty and hope for a better future.

Gafi will also be coming to Jakarta in one week. He will help the Papa lead the company. The man would learn before eventually the company would fall into his hands.

"Have you had breakfast?" asked Gafi, when they were in the car.

"Already, Brother!" answer Dita.

Gafi glanced towards the girl, while remaining focused on the road. Dita felt something strange about the man's gaze.

"Why is Big Brother glancing at me like that?"

"You didn't lie, did you? What was your breakfast?" ask Gafi.

Dita pinched her lover's arm. So the man thought if he was lying. He does often have breakfast with Gafi in the cafeteria, but he also does not lie if he has breakfast.

"Do what I lie. I had breakfast with a glass of milk, and a loaf of bread that you bought yesterday" replied Dita.

The contents of the refrigerator Dita are always filled with food, and it's all Gafi who buys. The man always bought snacks for Dita's snacks. He has often refused, but is still bought.

Gafi although still in college has income from his online sales. Money is not just from the parents.

Half an hour's drive, the two of them reached the hotel where the entire Gafi family was staying. All have gathered in the lobby including Axel and Lisa.

One by one Dita, until it was Axel's turn. The man clasped Dita's hand tightly. Seems reluctant to let go.

"I'm sorry for all the bad things that happened in the past. You are a very special person to me and I feel like I lost you. I'll get better from now on. I-i promise. I miss talking to you. Missing the moment like it used to be" Axel said.

All the family especially Lisa and Gafi could only be speechless looking at the two people. There was regret on Axel's face. He seems sincerely apologizing.
