Chapter 40 S2. Proposing

Gafi tonight plans to propose to her lover Dita, before returning to Jakarta. He rented a cafe to surprise her. The man made the cafe a very romantic place. There's only the two of them later.

"Sister, where are we going to dinner? Tumben used the secret of everything," said Dita gently.Not usually Gafi hide their dinner place.

"I want to surprise you. If I say now. It's not a surprise to his name" Gafi said.

"Later you will know too, dear," said Gafi again.

Gafi runs his car at a moderate speed. Along the way Dita's right hand is always in his grasp.

Arriving at one of the famous cafes in the city where they currently live, Gafi closed his lover's eyes. This made Dita more curious.

"Why do I have to close my eyes, brother?" ask Dita.

"Stop asking, Honey, just enjoy the surprise I'm going to give you" replied Gafi. .

The man got out of the car, opened the door for the lover. Gafi faithfully leads Dita into the cafe that has been decorated as beautifully and seromantically as possible.

He pulled a chair to sit on. "Don't open his eyes before there's an order from me" whispered Gafi slightly lowered his head.

"My heart is pounding, I don't know what you're going to do, sister," said Dita.

"It will make you and me happy" replied Gafi.

The man coded the waiter who had been trained this morning for the smooth running of the surprise event. Gafi wants everything to go smoothly because today is a special day for him as well Dita, if only the woman accepted his proposal.

"Sir Gafi?" call Dita to feel the hand of Gafi sitting in front of her.

Still with his eyes closed, Dita turned her head to and fro looking for where the music that was so romantic and pierced the niche of the heart.

"Sir Gafi ..," call Dita again.

Gafi did not reply, the man crouched down in front of his lover while holding a very beautiful ring box.

"Open your blindfold now, baby!" gafi's orders.

Just when Dita opened her blindfold, she was presented with a very beautiful view. Behind Gafi, a rose bouquet reads: ‘WILL YOU MARRY ME DITA?’. The candles are arranged in such a way as to add to the romantic atmosphere tonight.

Dita shut her mouth in disbelief seeing the surprise Gafi gave her. Especially when you hear the words that come out of the lover's mouth.

Dita grabs Gafi's hand to stand up. "I'm so happy with the surprise you gave me, I didn't expect you'd propose to me tonight, sister" Dita said softly.

Gafi looked at Dita's face without a blink waiting for the answer that would come out of the tiny mouth of the woman he loved.

He was still waiting for the woman to give an answer to his declaration of love. Looking at the girl who was just silent, she made a sound again.

"We, I've been waiting for this moment for a long time. To say this, I need a lot of time. Consider everything that might happen. Dealing with God to make the most appropriate choice. I asked many times in my own heart. Is it my choice? And many times my answer remains the same, it's you. Know ye? The only person who is qualified to be my wife is you. Because, the condition of marriage is to fall in love many times with the same person. Will you marry me, Dita?" ask Gafi again.

Gafi again questioned Dita's willingness to be his life companion. The man was afraid that the girl would change her mind again. Dita smiled and looked at her lover's face. He knew, surely Gafi could not wait for his answer.

"Sir Gafi, thank you for choosing me to be with you, I know I am very lucky to have you. You came into my life and I think that's the miracle that God sent me. You have made me go through a twinkling path with a smile and full of happiness, once again thank you, Brother. I am willing to marry you," Dita said slowly.

Even though the last sentence was said by Dita in a quiet voice, it still sounded in the man's ear. Unexpectedly, the man jumped in excitement.

"Yess, I can finally get married" cried Gafi.

Seen at Gafi's behavior with a smile. Fortunately, the cafe was rented specifically for the two of them.

"We, I seem to love you in countless forms, in life after life, in times to ages forever. When I look into your eyes, I don't see you, I see today, tomorrow, and my future for the rest of my life. You are always the first and last in my heart. Wherever I go, or what I do, I will always think of you."

"I don't need your word of dread and seduction, brother. I just need proof. A true man will never deny his words. From today on, prove all your words, sister," replied Dita.

"I'll prove it to the world, if you're the luckiest woman. I'm gonna make the women out there jealous to see you that I love so much. Again I ask, are you willing to be my companion and the mother of my children?" ask Gafi.

Dita did not answer Gafi's question, which I did not know how many times. Just a nod of the head as the answer. The man immediately hugged Dita tightly.

"People say that falling in love only happens once, but they're not right. Every time I see you, I fall in love, again and again. You are the one who shows up first when I start the day and you will always be there when I go to bed at night" Gafi said enthusiastically.

"I don't need a word of love and dread, but a real proof of all that you say, Brother."

"Alright, Honey. I'll prove it by marrying you soon. I'll have your mom propose officially to both of your parents" Gafi said.

Gafi invites Dita to sit back to her place. After that pin the ring on the girl's ring finger as a binding sign. Without a blink Dita looked at the ring pinned on her ring finger. Without being able to weatherable tears fall down her smooth cheeks. Happy and moved. She was ready to marry young.
