Chapter 31. Phone From Andin

It has been a week since they returned home for their honeymoon. Farhan and Rachel's domestic life is going on normally.

This morning the sun was so bright it shone on the earth. Rachel, who had just finished making breakfast, walked towards her husband's study.

Rachel knocked on the door slowly. A few times knocking then sound authentic from within.

"What's up, Chel?" ask Farhan.

"Breakfast is ready, my friend. Better eat first. If you want to continue work can be after breakfast," said Rachel.

"You go first, I'll be soon. I cleaned up the files first."

Rachel walks out of Farhan's study, waiting for her husband at the dinner table. While Farhan in the room cleaned up the files that he had been working on. He stared at the picture frame with a picture of him with Andin. Farhan.

"How are you, Andin? It felt like I wanted to see you at Mia's apartment, but I was afraid that you wouldn't want to see me anymore. The proof until this moment you do not want to contact me. Do you no longer want to be in contact with me? Should I start forgetting you forever?"

Farhan came out after all the files he had neatly arranged in the drawer. The man went straight to the kitchen. Smiled and kissed his wife.

"Such fragrance, it must be delicious" said Farhan. A bowl of Soto Padang is in front of him at this time.

While eating soto, his phone rang. Farhan looked at the screen. Shocked when you see the profile photo of the caller. He looked at his wife. The phone kept ringing.

"Why not get picked up, Mom? Who knows what's important?" ask Rachel.

Farhan smiled in response to his wife's words. He stood up from his seat. Rachel became suspicious. When Farhan wanted to leave, his wife said something.

"From Andin, Mommy?" ask Rachel.

Farhan stopped his intention of wanting to get away from his wife. He planned to receive her in the study.

"Mas, just pick up. If you lift her behind me, it's the same as if you've betrayed me and lied to me" Rachel said.

"I don't want you to misunderstand me if you hear me talking to Andin" Farhan said.

Rachel laughed at her husband's words. "I'd be more misunderstood if you picked her up secretly" Rachel said.

Farhan then called the number back. Just connected, he immediately lifted. Rachel asks Farhan to raise the volume of her voice and turn on her speakers.

"Farhan ...," said the voice of the woman across the street.

"Andin ...?" farhan asked with a slightly trembling voice.

"Yes, it's your Andin. How are you doing?" ask Andin.

"Well, how are you?" Farhan asked back.

"less good. Maybe it's karma for me that has abandoned you and prefers Alex, my husband. I'm sorry I hurt your heart. But you know why I accepted Alex because I didn't want you to be a bad boy. I don't want you to go against your mother for voting for me" Andin said in a hoarse voice.

"It's not all your fault. Maybe we are not a match," said Farhan. She looked at Rachel after saying that. His hands were trembling a little.

"Farhan, I want to talk to you" Andin said.

Farhan did not answer Andin's words. He looked back at Rachel's face. The woman smiled as she nodded her head in agreement.

"When and where?" ask Farhan again.

"This afternoon at cafe X. I'm waiting for your arrival" Andin said.

"Well, I'll come later."

"Thank you, Farhan. I thought you wouldn't see me again. I think you're still angry. Again, I'm sorry Farhan. I can't wait to see you again. I have so much to tell you! See you later in the afternoon!" say Andin and close the pencil connection.

Farhan took his breath back and looked at Rachel. The woman looked smiling. Farhan could not guess what his wife was thinking.
