Chapter 48 S2. I Want to End

Axel and Lisa take a walk in the middle of a crowded city. They walk together, but the atmosphere between them feels hollow and bland because Axel has known if his lover does not love him, just expecting his money. While Lisa was uncomfortable because Axel seemed much more speechless than usual.

Axel invites Lisa the real way to eliminate her sadness, because he saw for himself the happiness of Dita and Gafi. There is a sense of loss when they find out if they are going to get married in the near future, about one more month.

Axel was silent for a moment before finally deciding to open up with Lisa.

"How long have we been dating, Lisa?" ask Axel flat.

Lisa is familiar with Axel's tone of speech. He knew that if he answered jokingly, Axel would only get more tense.

"It's been almost three years, honey. How come you're being so serious all of a sudden?" Lisa tried to smile sweetly.

But that smile could not help the situation in the slightest. Axel felt very bored with the attitude of Lisa who likes to expect things.

"I just want to know, do you still feel there's love between us?" said Axel softly.

Lisa clenched her forehead. Axel's question was strange. From the beginning they had met earlier, it had seemed that the man's attitude was different.

"I still think there's love, honey. Don't you feel it?" ask Lisa slowly.

Axel nodded slowly. "I feel the love between us has disappeared. And I know it's probably because I have a problem myself."

Lisa felt her chest tight. He felt something was wrong, but did not know how to justify it. "This is because what? Did I hurt your heart?"

Axel replied firmly, "No, Lisa. You didn't do anything wrong. It's purely because of me. I feel tired of this kind of situation. I feel like our relationship hasn't progressed. I feel like you're just using me, not love. You just want something from me."

Lisa was stunned and was annoyed to hear it. "Do you want to say that all this time I was just asking? I've never done anything like that, Axel!"

"I know you never force it, Lisa. But I also know, you expect a lot from me. I'm tired of all that."

Lisa was very upset. He felt like he was being blamed for Axel's decision. "Then, what should I do?"

Axel took a long breath. "I think we should stop here. I don't want to prolong this matter."

"What are you going to do next, Axel?" lisa finally said.

"I haven't thought about it for sure. But for sure, I'll give myself time" Axel finally said.

Lisa was disappointed by Axel's response. "Do you want to break up?"

Axel felt increasingly desperate with Lisa's questions like that. But he can still control his emotions. "I don't know, maybe I do. But you should know, I just want to be honest with myself."

Lisa crying. He felt very sad to hear Axel's reply like that. He felt it was too late, and Axel was no longer in love with him.

"So you think I'm a matre girl who just wants something from you. For three years of our relationship, why are you feeling so much now? If you think so, don't buy me anything from today to believe that I love you!" said Lisa.

Lisa took a deep breath. He did not understand why Axel suddenly had such thoughts. He thought, who has influenced that man.

"Is this just your excuse? You want to go back after Dita, right? You changed after meeting Dita again. Just tell me, if this is your reason for breaking up. Did I ever ask for such a large sum of money that you said I matre?" Dita asked in a high voice.

Axel looked at Lisa's face. All this time, the girl had never asked for anything that was very expensive. However, the purpose of her dating only to be able to marry him and take over his property, it has made Axel angry and feel cheated.

"We'd better go home. I hope you can reflect on our relationship. I feel uncomfortable with our relationship. Not because of Dita. Don't take his name. She's Gafi's fiancee, and they're getting married, so none of this has anything to do with Dita" Axel said.

Lisa is shocked to hear that Dita and Gafi are getting married. He's not gonna let Axel go. She had to convince the man to stay with her, Lisa said in her heart.

"So they're getting married? Dita Awesome, can ensnare Gafi in a short time," said Lisa.

"What do you mean, snare? Dita a good girl, it's appropriate if Gafi wants to marry her quickly," Axel replied a little annoyed.

Lisa was silent, not wanting to argue any longer, afraid Axel would hate her even more. He needs to be better from today.

Axel makes the decision to drive Lisa home, before she is finally about to return home. On the other hand, Lisa doesn't want to seem to lose Axel. He was thinking about how the man would trust him again.
