Chapter 47 S2. Official Proposal

Yuni's mother went into her daughter's room. Looking at Axel who had prepared to go outside the room, he then smiled.

"Sorry, Axel. Your whole family has come. Aunty wants to remind Dita to be faster grooming," said Yuni.

"I'm done talking too. Sorry about me, Dita was late for her grooming" Axel said.

"Yes, Mom. I just change my clothes" replied Dita.

"Mother go straight downstairs," said Mother.

"Yes, Mom." Dita answered briefly.

Axel and Yuni descended the stairs simultaneously. Axel's heavy footsteps and gloomy look on his face, made Yuni ask what happened to him. His eyes also seemed red withstanding the tears. Arriving at the family room, the two join other families.

Dita's house is filled with frenzy of proposal preparation. Gafi and his family have arrived and are waiting for Dita . They chatted and enjoyed a cup of coffee, although Gafi looked very nervous, he tried to hide his feelings.

"Are you ready?" mama Alya asked in a whisper.

"It was, but I was very nervous, Ma," replied Gafi.

"Calm down" said Mama Gafi, who gave her support. "Mom is sure everything will go well."

Meanwhile, Dita was getting ready in her room. She checked her makeup and dress. He was very happy because today would be a special day in his life. He loves Gafi very much, and he believes Gafi is his soul mate.

Dita went down from the second floor to the family room. All eyes stared at Dita without a blink, The girl was very pretty in her white dress.

I greet one by one the guests present. While greeting Mama Rachel, the woman seemed to hold back tears. Dita knows, Rachel must be disappointed with her. After all being saluted including Axel, Dita sits between her parents.

Axel glanced straight at Dita. That girl looks different. She's very pretty.

"Not yet, but I will do that in a moment" replied Gafi.

Gafi looked nervous, his legs trembling as one of Dita's family said the event would start. Dita smiled, because she knew that was when the proposal began. Everyone present started to take their positions, waiting for the long-awaited moment to happen.

Gafi got up from his chair and asked everyone to stand up. Dita also saw Gafi who had grasped a small box in his hand. He knew, in that box, there was something that would change his life forever.

"Dita," said Gafi, hiding his nervousness, "I have long wanted to tell you this. Ever since we first met, I knew that you were a special person. I'm grateful to be here right now, and I want to ask you something very important."

When Gafi opened the box, there was a shining ring inside. Everyone present saw him happily and cheerfully. Deeply moved, her tears trickled when she saw Gafi put the ring on her finger.

"Dita" continued Gafi, "I want you to be my wife. I know there's still a lot we have to go through together, but I want us to do it together."

Dita looked sincerely at Gafi, "Of course I am willing to be your wife, Gafi. I now look happier than the words I can say."

Everyone in the room was dumbfounded and smiling with happiness. The Gafi family was very happy and embraced Dita. They plan a fun party and reception later.

Dita and Gafi looked at each other and smiled at each other. They feel like the only couple in the world..

"We're doing this for good" Gafi said.

"Yes, forever," Dita replied.

Everyone cheered and celebrated Gafi and Dita's proposal. There is nothing happier than this, and they wait patiently to start a new chapter in their lives as husband and wife.

Only Axel and Rachel did not smile. Both seem a little sad.
