Chapter 13 S2. The arrival of Lisa

Axel and Lisa sit together by the lake. The atmosphere of the night was so calm, only the sound of water ripples and the sound of the wind whispering among the trees accompanying them. Lisa felt her heart flutter when Axel suddenly spoke softly.

"Lisa," Axel said, his warm eyes focused on the woman sitting next to him. "There's something I want to tell you."

Lisa gulped her saliva, an inescapable nervousness began to permeate her. "What is that, Axel?"

Axel smiled, trying to reduce the tension Lisa felt. "You know that I love you so much, don't you?"

Lisa nodded. "I love you too, Axel."

Axel answered sincerely. "Well, I don't think I need to talk anymore, I want you to meet my family. I want to introduce you as my girlfriend to them."

Lisa felt her heart beat faster. The idea of meeting the Axel family was something he had been thinking about for a long time, but the reality made him feel nervous. "Are you sure, Axel? What if they don't like me?"

Axel gently rubbed the back of Lisa's hand. "You don't have to worry. I'm sure they'll like you as much as I do. My parents never forced their will on her son."

Lisa smiled, feeling a little calmer. Axel always knew how to make him feel comfortable.

That night after they spoke, Axel finally went home and told his mother without thinking about anything, without remembering at all that actually Rachel still can not forget Dita and can not accept a new person in Axel's life.

"Mama, I have something I want to say," Axel said, his voice trembling slightly.

Rachel looked at her son with great attention. "What is that, Axel?"

Axel swallowed his saliva for a moment before he said, "I'll bring Lisa to this house. I want you to meet him. I want you to like her like Mama likes Dita."

Rachel looked surprised, and her expression instantly changed. However, he remained calm and spoke softly. "I'm glad you feel comfortable introducing her. But Dita's position can't possibly be replaced."

Axel was relieved to hear the positive response of his mother, he did not realize that it was just a mock and did not know that there was a sense of disappointment in the mind of the woman who had given birth to him at this time. "Thank you, Mama. I really want you and Lisa to get to know each other. I'm sure you'll like him."

Rachel smiled. "I will be friendly, as I should be. We all want what's best for you, Axel."

That morning, the sun rose with a warmth that gently swept across the small town. Axel looked dazzling, feeling nervous yet full of enthusiasm. Today is an important day, when he will bring Lisa to be introduced to his family. Axel wants everything to go perfectly.

He planned everything carefully. Axel wore a very neat dark suit, matching a maroon tie that added an elegant touch. On the way to Lisa's house, Axel feels confident in her stylish appearance.

Meanwhile, at Lisa's house, the atmosphere was so feminine. The bedroom is filled with the fragrance of fresh floral perfumes. Lisa sat in front of the dresser in a soft pastel-colored dress, which exuded her charm this morning. The dress had a beautiful cut and perfected its elegant figure. Her long hair was neatly arranged, with a few strands gently sliding around her face.

Lisa chose a natural yet alluring makeup. The eyes are smeared with a little eyeliner and mascara, giving it a slight sparkle. Her lips are polished with a soft pink lipstick, giving an alluring feminine touch.

After Lisa finished preparing, she looked at herself in the mirror and smiled in satisfaction. He wanted to give the best impression to the Axel family, just like his feelings for the man.

"You look so pretty" Axel said in awe, making Lisa's heart flutter.

They are getting ready to embark on a journey to the Axel family home, hoping that this morning will be the beginning of a new chapter in their relationship.

The arrival of Axel and Lisa at the Axel family home presents a tense atmosphere. The house was a beautiful villa with a green garden, inviting peace, but in Lisa's heart, there was a deep unease.

The Axel family was already waiting for them in the living room. Axel introduces Lisa to his father. They greeted Lisa with a warm and friendly smile. However, Lisa's nervousness reaches its peak when she has to meet Axel's mother, Rachel.

He could feel that Rachel was just smiling falsely at him, even occasionally finding the woman even limping while looking at her face.

They sit in the lavish living room, the atmosphere becoming increasingly tense as Lisa tries to talk to Rachel. However, despite Lisa's efforts to appear polite and impressive, Rachel still looks cold and keeps her distance.

Axel could feel the discomfort Lisa felt and tried to calm her down by gently holding her hand under the table. It gave him a little bit of strength.

Lisa hopes that over time, Rachel will open her heart and accept Lisa as part of her family.

In the end Rachel did not feel resistant if she had to continue in the living room with Lisa. He chose to return to his room on the grounds that something had to be done.

Behind the tightly shut bedroom door, Rachel sat at the end of their bed, her eyes fixed on the window revealing a clear sky. The soft laughter from the living room pierced through the wall and into his ears. Rachel's heart rippled, and she knew it was time to talk.

"Mas Farhan," she called softly, calling her husband who was busy in their study.

Farhan turned his head behind the bedroom door. "Yes? What's up, honey?"

Rachel took a deep breath before revealing what was in her heart. "I have to confide in you about something, Mas. It's about Axel and Lisa."

Farhan nodded, his steps approaching his wife, and he sat down next to her. "What's going on?"

Rachel looked at her husband. "Mas Farhan, I don't like Lisa as Axel's girlfriend. I know we have to support Axel's decision, but my heart can't feel it. I still really hope that Axel can get back to Dita, I already love that boy so much."

Farhan grabbed his wife's hand gently. "Rachel, I understand how you feel. But we have to remember that Axel is an adult now, and he has every right to make a choice in his life. We have to support him."

Rachel shook her head. "I know, Mas, but I just want the best for Axel. Dita and Axel were so fit, they had already spent so much time together. Lisa, I don't know much about her."

Farhan tried to give his wife support. "Maybe we could try to get to know Lisa better, Rachel. Who knows, maybe he's a good guy for Axel."

Meanwhile, in the living room, Axel and Lisa were still there, watching television. They seem to be enjoying their time together. Rachel still feels anxious, but she knows that it's time to give Axel a chance to pursue his own happiness. They all wish him the best.
