Chapter 39 S2. Forgive

Axel stood before Dita with his head bowed. He was very sorry for what he did. He knew he had made a big mistake, and apologizing wasn't enough to make things go back to how they were.

“I'm sorry, Dita,” he said slowly. “I know I made a big mistake. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings.”

Axel grabbed Dita's hand gently. “I understand if you're upset and angry with me. I just wish you could give me a chance to right my wrongs, Dita.”

Dita looked at Axel, and saw a sense of regret emanating in her eyes. He knew he still missed Axel, so he ended up giving Axel a second chance.

After that Dita shook hands with Papa Gafi, then everyone got into the car. Lisa one car with Axel. Both Gafi's parents and Aunt Rachel are also one different car.

Gafi and Dita stood glued to the spot, watching their departure. After all, the two of them left the hotel courtyard.

On the way, the two were silent. I don't know what's on each other's minds.
