Chapter 40. Husband's Obligations

Rachel tried to get up, but her body was still weak so it was unable to do so. Seeing that, mother approached Rachel and hugged her daughter-in-law's body. Rachel's pale face was visible with her in-laws' face.

"Mother ...." Only that word came out of the woman's lips. He felt again the warmth of a hug from a woman. Rachel felt a hug from her own mother. I look like Mother Nur is so pure.

"Why are you being dishonest when I call you. If we knew Farhan was going on his honeymoon with his friends, surely father and mother would follow and take you away from there" she said.

The Judge's father pulled Farhan's hand out of the room. He'll talk to his son four-eyes.

"What was on your mind when you married Rachel? Why did you get married just to get hurt?" said the Judge Father with great emphasis.

"I want to make him convert" Farhan replied slowly.

Farhan took his breath. Feels tight in the chest. Why can't his parents open his heart to Andin? Unlike Rachel, they could instantly accept it. What is the lack of Andin and what are the advantages of Rachel? Farhan asked in his heart.

"That's because mom and dad don't know her. Try to stay closer to him, definitely can accept Andin," said Farhan.

The Judge's father stood up from his seat. Look at his son with his eyes lit up.

"As a father I feel like I failed to educate you. Your heart has been broken. Can't hear anything from people around you. You are too selfish. Only one prayer, may you not regret loving the wrong woman. Let go of Rachel, and if it's for you that you're the best to marry her. Perhaps by marrying that woman, your heart will open!" said the Judge's Father.
