Chapters 10. Not because of love

Farhan seemed to take a deep, deep breath. He doesn't know what to answer. Should it be honest?

Actually Farhan married Rachel only to forget the woman he loved so much. One year ago she married her parents' choice.

Andin is a pretty lady Farhan's college friend. Once the man took Andin to the village and introduced to his parents. However, they did not agree if his son married the woman. The first reason is because Andin is not wearing a hijab.

Both Farhan's parents also do not like the way Andin talks the way he is without distinguishing from who he is chatting with. They wanted a meek son-in-law who knew religion.

Farhan accidentally married Rachel not only to forget Andin who had been married but also as a rejection of the soul mate that his parents always gave him every time he came home.

Farhan and Andin break up after the woman learns that the two men's parents disapprove of their relationship. One year ago she married her parents' chosen man.

"Mas, why did you choose me as your life partner?" ask Rachel again.

At midnight, Rachel wakes up. He did not see Farhan beside him. The woman got up and went out of the room to look for her husband.

"Is Mas Farhan still disgusted at me? So I don't want to sleep with me. Never mind to be in touch, just close to me he does not want to," said Rachel in her heart.

Rachel did not see her husband in the living room. Then he looked into the kitchen, the man was nowhere to be found.

Rachel saw a room whose door was slightly open. As he was about to try to open the door wider, it coincided with Farhan coming out of the room.

"Rachel ...," said Farhan in surprise and shut the door tightly.

"Where do you think you are, Mum?" said Rachel.

He saw Farhan still wearing a sarong and holding the Qur'an. The woman could guess what her husband was doing.

"I was at night praying" Farhan replied.

"Why didn't you wake me up. We can do both."

"I saw your sleep well, so it wasn't until the heart interfered."

"It's okay, Mom. Next time wake me up. Oh yes, tomorrow morning let me clean this room, if it is here you often do prayer," said Rachel.

"No need, Rachel. Let me clean up. That's my work space. I hope you never get into that room!" said Farhan with a slightly high tone.
