NOT AS BEAUTIFUL AS HEAVEN S1/S2
Chapter 10 S2. Beware With Rachel

Dita opened her eyes lazily as the digital alarm jolted her consciousness. He closed his eyes with a pillow as sunlight entered through the gap of his window, making him feel a little glare.

He sighed deeply, already sensing that there was something he had to do at this moment. Clearly before she decided to go out of town, she felt she had to say goodbye at least to Rachel who was none other than Axel's mother.

"Can I do it this morning?" He wondered to himself. A little hesitant, he felt that he should do this. It's not good to just go away considering that the woman was very good to him so far and even expect that he and Axel can still continue the relationship well.

With very heavy steps she got out of her bed, went to the bathroom and stared at her reflection in the mirror. A very sad pale face. For the past few days, you could say he has been crying too often. It feels hard to accept the fact about Axel. He was trying to get on with his own life.

As usual he spent a lot of time in the bathroom, let alone in this lazy state. She came out of the bathroom after half an hour. Wearing makeshift clothes today and then going to Axel's house.

She was alone with her mother to go to Axel's house. His mother Yuni looked with a frown.

"Are you sure you're out there by yourself, you don't want me to be with you?" ask Yuni.

"I'm sure, Mother. Precisely if there is a mother I can be awkward," replied Dita.

"Alright, Honey. Say hello to Mama Rachel" said Yuni.

He was surprised by shaking hands and peeping both of his mother's cheeks.

We arrived at the house with hearts beating. Somehow he felt that this house was like hell to him. There is a fear when it comes to meeting Axel, but he also wants to say goodbye to Rachel.

Finally, with a little force, he pressed the doorbell of the house. Waiting for a moment until the woman he expected actually opened the door, feeling lucky when he realized that the one who opened the door was not Axel.

Rachel smiled very kindly to herself as usual. "Oh, I didn't expect you to come here. Mama misses you so much, baby. Come inside."

Dita smiled nervously then stepped into the living room. Sitting for a moment on one of his comfortable sofas. He bowed with a breath of terror.

His heart was pounding more and more, there was a desire to retreat but also had already come here. It was impossible for him to just leave without saying anything just from feeling nervous.

"So what made you come here? Ah, wait a minute! Let mama prepare a snack for you."

Dita could only bow and say nothing as Rachel went to the kitchen to give her a snack. He waited for a few minutes until the woman returned to the living room with a couple of jars of snacks that looked really good. There's a brownie cake there, the cake that Dita likes the most.

"Please, eat. You like brownies, don't you?" ask Rachel.

Dita can only smile when she realizes that Rachel even knows very well what she likes most. Rachel may have thought of herself as a child all along. So it is very easy to know whatever is liked or disliked by Dita.

We remain down in a few minutes. Then Rachel said something. "Do you need to call Axel? He is currently in his room. Maybe you want to talk to him? It's been a long time since you've been playing here, if it's not your mom who's coming home you don't want to come here!"

"Ah, no need, Ma. I'm not here to talk to him." He sighed again, feeling heavy to say that to Rachel.

"So what do you want to say, honey?" rachel asked again curiously, quite aware that Dita felt so heavy to say that from her expression. He was even more curious as to what this child would say.

"I just wanted to say goodbye because in a few days I have to get out of town. I will continue my studies out of town. Maybe it'll be back for a few more years, Ma." Dita felt her heart pounding violently when she said that, but there was also a sense of relief from successfully saying it.

While Rachel immediately fell silent, not expecting at all if this was what Dita would say. He had thought that Dita wanted to talk about the relationship with Axel and ask for advice from him, but it turned out that his mind was much different from what was happening now.

The living room was quiet. The wind came through the window. The two of them did not say anything within a few minutes, instead being caught in that cold and frozen situation. Tita for now can only wait for a response from Rachel. He knew he might have let the woman down. However, separation is still painful, regardless of the form.

"I didn't think at all that you would say that. So you've been planning this all day?" rachel asked at last.

Dita smiled bitterly, she nodded with a very heavy heart. "I didn't mean to hide this at all. It's just that it's very hard to say, I can only say it now, it's also with a very heavy heart."

Rachel took a breath. He understood the situation faced by Dita at the moment. He also supports whatever Dita chooses, perhaps even if this can distract him from his relationship with Axel, then it would be much better for Dita to go out of town to take her education.

"Mama understands. My mom doesn't blame you for this at all. You have the right to decide what you want to do. After all, no one said that education was unnecessary. You will have new friends and new experiences. At least you can move on with your life after what happened."

Dita smiled back. He knew what Rachel meant. "I can't force what he wants. We can't also arrange who he's supposed to like."

Rachel sighed, feeling like giving appreciation to Dita who was very big hearted. Although this was very difficult, he also admitted that the two of them could not force Axel to stay with Dita if indeed the man had liked another woman and wanted to be with her.

"of course. My mom understands that too. Do everything you want to do. May your studies run smoothly out of town."

Dita smiled and nodded. At least he was relieved to say goodbye to Rachel. He no longer needed to think of anything.

"I'm sorry, on behalf of Axel," said Rachel.

"Ma, nothing's wrong. So there is no need to apologize" said Dita.

Dita. Rachel tried to hold back her tears so that Dita did not feel heavy. Rachel wishes it was the best for the girl.

Tonight he did it all. He had managed to ask permission from his mother and had also managed to say goodbye to Rachel. Nothing else felt so heavy in his heart. All that burden just came off this morning. There was nothing else he thought of but his preparations.

Without Dita knowing, Axel peeked at her departure from the room. He wondered why the girl had come to the house, but only for a moment. Usually Dita played until the afternoon even stay overnight.
