This morning after breakfast Dita took Gafi to the park, enjoying the fresh air on a sunny morning. They walked slowly, holding hands. Gafi still felt a bit of pain after his eye surgery yesterday, but he was happy to see again.
"Thank you, dear," Gafi said in a soft voice.
"No need to thank you, brother. It is my duty as a wife to help you" Dita replied with a smile.
Gafi felt boundless happiness from being able to look back. He looked up at the sky with his eyes wide open.
"How are you feeling now, brother? Can you see back?" ask Dita in a soft voice.
"Of course I am very happy, I can see this expanse of blue sky, see the flowers in this garden. It feels so incredible. Thank you very much, dear."
Dita smiled happily. He was happy to help Gafi. As a wife, she felt the sadness of her husband when she could not see.
"That makes me even happier, because here, there is the seed of my love. I can see his face. Yesterday I was sad, afraid of not being able to see forever. Can't see the little angel that will be present in our little family" Gafi said in a carefree voice.
"I'm the happiest, brother. I can be spoiled again with Brother," replied Dita. She then held the husband's hand. As if afraid of losing.
They take a walk in the park, enjoy the view. The garden is filled with a variety of colorful flowers. Gafi felt a fresh scent from the flowers.
"It looks quite big, yes all the flowers in this garden," Gafi said as he continued to stare at the flowers.
"Yes, this is a city park. Local residents voluntarily take care of this park, Sis" Dita replied while pointing to a group of residents who were cleaning the park.
Gafi was moved to see the efforts of local residents to maintain the beauty of the park. He was stunned when he saw a mother and a small child planting flowers next to him.
"How can you two take care of this park, ma'am?" ask that mother.
"We feel the need to maintain the beauty of this park, so that other residents can also enjoy" replied the mother kindly.
"We have to learn from them, brother. How important it is to take care of nature and continue to take care of our environment" said Dita excitedly.
Gafi strongly agreed with his wife. He felt compelled to do the same.
"Yes, you're right. We have to take responsibility for our environment" Gafi said, turning his gaze around the park.
They continued their path, enjoying the natural beauty of the park. They keep talking about how they want to keep the environment, make a positive contribution to society.
"Not only keep the park, we also have to create cleanliness in the environment around us," said Dita with enthusiasm.
"Yes, and also separate organic and non-organic waste. That's one of the little things we can do to keep the environment" Gafi added.
They keep talking about the various things they can do for their environment, until finally realizing that time has passed. They return home, feeling happy and inspired to do good for their environment.
"Thank you for bringing me here, honey. This time I felt like I could not only see again, but also learn a lot about caring for the environment" Gafi said with a smile.
