Chapter 46. Finally Gone

In the morning as usual, Rachel prepared breakfast for her husband Farhan. Without any suspicion, the man ate with his heart. After breakfast the man went to work.

"Be careful, Mom. Don't eat late. Take care of your health" said Rachel when releasing Farhan.

"You must not forget to eat either" Farhan said, shuffling his wife's hair.

Farhan kissed his wife's forehead before leaving. Rachel kissed the man's hand. He released Farhan's departure until it disappeared from his eyes.

After that Rachel went back home. Washing their breakfast dishes. Then go into the room. The woman arranged the clothes as necessary to get into the suitcase.

Rachel put the letter she wrote yesterday on the bedside nightstand. Then Rachel opened her wedding ring and put it on the paper that contained her heart.

With a slow step, Rachel dragged the suitcase filled with clothes to the outside of the apartment. In the lock, the woman went straight to the elevator.

Rachel picks up her phone and sends a message to Nando if she has been in the parking lot. The woman said if Reno did not enter the apartment, afraid to be seen on CCTV. He asked to wait across the street just a little away from the apartment and from the reach of CCTV cameras.

Rachel crossed the street with the suitcase she kept dragging. Reno, who saw it in the car, wanted to help. However, Reno did not want to take the risk by getting out of the car.

The car he was using was also the one he was not used to so Farhan or anyone else could not recognize him. Rachel smiled as she got closer. He opened the door behind the driver.

"Sorry Brother. Had to wait a long time" Rachel said after sitting in the backseat.

"It's okay, Chel," Reno said.

Reno drove out of his car before anyone could see and recognize them. Both of them were silent, not knowing what to say. Rachel took a deep breath repeatedly and finally after 15 minutes of travel, the woman opened her voice.

He only knows Alex as the boss of the nightclub where he used to work. However, the woman did not want to contact because she was afraid she would be tempted back there.

"I've already offered help if you need it, so rest assured this is not a hassle. I want you to stay in my villa for a while. There are two villas. One for you to get another one for me" Reno said.

Reno doesn't want to ask why Rachel decided to leave her husband's house. He sincerely helped without having to know the reason the woman left the apartment. Reno believes that one day she will say it herself.

After traveling for 6 hours, they finally reached their destination. Reno takes the woman into one of the villas.

"You can stay here as long as you want. I'm just one night away at the villa next door. If you are hungry, you can ask Bi Sum for help. Now rest. See you at dinner" Reno said.

"Thank you, Brother."

"I'll say goodbye first." Reno then stepped out of the villa that Rachel occupied towards the villa where she was staying.

After Reno leaves, Rachel enters the room and lays her body down. The journey he took was enough to make his body tired.

While looking at the sky of the room, he was pensive. I don't know what's on his mind right now.

"If anyone asks me how I feel right now? The answer is, now I'm trying and struggling to move on when I just tried to kill myself. I try to stay healthy and sane. I'm here at peace with all the injuries and traumas. I'm not doing well. My mind and situation are in chaos. A lot of things have hurt my heart lately. I was struck by the harshness of the world. I cried almost all night. For now let me pull over to recover from this wound my way. It may not be possible to recover soon, but I hope that time will heal all these wounds and traumas" Rachel muttered to herself.
