"Ladyyyyy ...."
Kenny ran cheerfully welcoming the man who was standing at the mouth of the door. The man crouched down and spread out his arms to give a warm hug to the handsome boy whom he already considered to be like a child himself. Behind Kenny, the mother stood with a gentle smile on her face.
"Daddy thinks Kenny doesn't remember Daddy anymore" said Randy still while hugging Kenny.
"Mommy can't forget Daddy. Kan Daddy who takes care of Mama with Kenny when Papa is on medication. Daddy's Kenny's dad."
A feeling of happiness emanated from Randy's eyes. "Kenny loved Daddy?" tanyanya looked at the boy.
"Darling!" The boy answered steadily.
"Daddy loves Kenny too."
Randy kissed Kenny's head before standing up. He returned the smile of the woman who had stood up to notice him, the woman who had once held the status of his wife.
"Rubby, Ran?" Jeany advances her body to receive a kiss on the cheek from Randy.
"Engga, just bosen. Delay is long!" the man complained with a stale face. "This is me bringing disco beans and milk pies."
"Horeeeee ...! Thanks, Daddy!" Kenny screams excitedly to hear Randy bring his two favorite snacks. He immediately grabbed the bag that was being held by Randy.
"Kenny, who is polite, dear," Jeany scolds her son.
"Father, Jean. Same with me, not anyone else."
Jeany's face, which had been stern as she rebuked Kenny, turned softer, showing her smile to Randy. "What do you want to drink, Ran?"
"Obviously it is."
Jeany nodded and went to the kitchen. Two more years as Randy's wife made him know a lot about the man. She carried out all her duties as a wife, except for the bed.
"How's Papa Mama doing?" ask the woman when she returns from the kitchen.
Randy drank the sweet iced tea served by Jeany before replying. "good. Mama says she misses Kenny, you have to take Kenny home sometime."
Jeany glued for a moment. Guilt again hit him. He once lied to a husband and wife who missed the presence of a grandchild. Remembering clearly the disappointed face of Randy's parents knowing that Kenny is not their grandson, too disappointed to not want to hear any explanation.
But it turns out that the affection that has grown cannot be removed just like that. After all this time, there was still a desire to meet again.
"Yes, I'll say it to Kevin."
"Trus where is he now? I'm just like him." Randy said with a big grin.
"Still in the office."
"Would you still want to get married?"
"There's a lot he has to sign. There's a little trouble in the office."
Randy glanced at Kenny for a moment. The boy was busy eating milk pie while looking at the phone screen, seemingly not paying attention to his conversation with Jeany. But he kept his voice down when he spoke.
"Maybe you guys are a soul mate. You're married to me, end-to-end with her."
In Randy's heart there's always a love for Jeany. Although now he has remarried, does not reduce his desire to always take care of the woman.
"Yes, I was surprised when I found out we were in one office. Did you call him to meet with the two of you?"
Randy shakes. "I don't know the number."
"Later I'll send you the number. You should invite him to meet Trus clearly as clearly as possible."
There was a little laugh coming from Randy's mouth. "It's getting clear?" ask her with seductive eyes.
"Ehm don't have to be too clear either" Jeany said.
"Aren't you promising?"
"Eihh you! Don't let him misunderstand me ...."
"Yes yes. I want to see you happy too" Randy said, gently rubbing Jeany's head.
The woman let Randy pour out his affection. He himself loved that man. Randy's sincerity makes him have his own place in Jeany's heart.
"Where do you think, Ran?"
"At Johan's house" replied Randy. He looked at his watch, then looked at Jeany. "Still this afternoon, go for a walk with Kenny yuk? Tomorrow you can't go out. If I stay at home too long, you're not good either."
"Yes, but don't go home at night. Oh yeah, your medication hours are still the same?"
"still. I'm taking a taxi online now, okay?"
When it was time to go home, Randy went to Jeany's house to pick up the bag he had left there. After all, he did not calm down if he did not make sure himself the woman and her son arrived home safely. After picking up the bag, Randy immediately returned to the online taxi that was still waiting for him in front of the house.
"I'm going home first, Jean. Kenny, Daddy's coming home first."
"Drug, Daddy." Kenny waved his hand at Randy.
"Bye, Kenny."
Randy bent his body to kiss Kenny's head. The boy laughed, then ran into the house because he could not wait to open the toy that Randy had bought for him. Randy also kissed Jeany's cheeks briefly before leaving, as was his habit all along.
"Be careful, Ran. Say hello to Johan's house."
"Ready, My Ex-Wife."
"Friday!" Jeany grumbled at him while laughing.
After an online taxi takes Randy away, Jeany walks into the house. It was like experiencing deja vu when his body was overturned by a pull on the hand.
"Kevin?" said surprised. "When have you been here? How does your car look?"
"Why? So you can't get caught again being so friendly with Randy?" Kevin's answer was beyond belief. He looked at Jeany with an angry face.
"How's mesra?" Jeany's forehead seemed contorted hearing the accusations from Kevin.
"Why do you want him to kiss your cheek?"
"It's just a habit, Vin. No more meaning."
"Official since when?"
"Since we got married" Jeany replied in a soft voice.
"You're divorced! It's not worth it anymore! And you took my son out with another man until that night was inappropriate too!"
Anger immediately infiltrated Jeany's heart. He said he did nothing inappropriate.
"Then you want how? I'm going alone, don't you have to take Kenny?!"
"You shouldn't go with him!"
"Why are you being so selfish? Randy came all the way from Bali. There's no way I as the host wouldn't accompany him for a walk! And don't forget Randy took care of me and Kenny for as long as you weren't around!" Jeany was so emotional that she unconsciously stabbed Kevin in the chest while talking.
When he knew he should be quiet, Jeany even issued a word that hurt Kevin. The man was clearly hurt by the words he had just heard.
"Oh, maybe it's better that you get married again to her, not the same me that never looked after you and Kenny!"
This time Jeany managed to control her emotions. He did not reply to Kevin's scathing words. "Come in. Kenny misses you" he said before entering the house.
Kevin obeyed. He was angry at Jeany, but not at their son.
"Surma ...." Kenny who saw Kevin came immediately rushed into the arms of the man.
"Kenny again what?"
"Again the car. It was bought by Daddy."
Kevin clenched his hand to hear Kenny's name on Randy. Blind jealousy makes him forget that the son also called Prasetyo as Papi.
"You see Daddy a lot?"
"Rarely. Only if Daddy to Jakarta."
"Daddy often to Jakarta?"
"Rarely ...."
Jeany listens to Kevin's obvious question, suspecting his relationship with Randy. He chose to go to the kitchen which was also the dining room and sit there, enjoying Randy's milk pie.
Kevin himself chose to accompany Kenny to play regardless of Jeany in the least. When the driver had picked her up to go home, her anger had subsided. He was looking for the woman to say goodbye. Several times Kevin called Jeany's name but there was no answer. When Kevin arrived in the kitchen, he knew why. Apparently the woman was talking to someone through her cell phone.
"Yes, don't forget, Ran. Jakarta is an hour slower than Bali. Here at nine, in Bali it's ten."
Kevin immediately left Jeany's house without saying goodbye to the woman. In the car he took a long breath. After all these years, Randy's presence always made him feel insecure.
