One Night's Mistakes (Love's Wrong)

One Night's Mistakes (Love's Wrong)
The No Foreign Figure

Jeany and Mita were in the kitchen. Four brownie dough pans have been put into the grill. Jeany's hands now do not stop washing dishes, spoons, bowls, measuring cups and various equipment that he used to make brownies. Mita the best friend helped clean the kitchen table from the traces of flour and butter scattered.

"Finally it's done too." While wiping the sweat on his face, Jeany laughed because it was funny to see his best friend's face now looks very oily. "My house is hot, huh, Mit? Your face shines like that?" he said while chuckling.

Mita immediately took a special facial oil paper from inside her bag and placed it slowly on her cheeks, nose, forehead and chin so that the oil on her face was absorbed into the paper. He was not satisfied with the result. "I've washed my face again, then" he said later.

Jeany then looked at the clock on the wall of her kitchen which showed at nine o'clock past ten in the evening. He went to his room to check on his sleeping son. Not long after that he came out with a maternal smile adorning his face.

"Pules are sleeping. Tumben today he slept spitty," he told the friend.

"Hehe must be because I took a walk all day. I'm so bored at home, Jean. Mas Pras has not allowed me to work. She's afraid I'm exhausted and influenced my pregnancy program."

"See what your husband says."

Mita's face turned sad. "Sometimes I feel God is unfair. I am Mas Pras is well established and very dear to children, but why has not been given the belief to have children? But out there a lot of ABG has not died, not responsible even with easily pregnant out of wedlock trus end-end of his son abandoned."

Mita realized that she was wrong to speak after seeing the change in the look on her best friend's face. "Sorry, Jean, I don't mean to offend you."

"Yes, I know. You are patient, hopefully your prayers and efforts have been heard by God."

"Yes." Yeah." Mita examined the face of her best friend who still seemed a little stiff due to her speech earlier. "Jean, I know this is a presumptuous question. But don't you want to find Kenny's new papa? You've been divorced a long time from Randy. He's married again, right?"

Jeany shakes. "I feel like life is enough, Mit. All that matters is that I'm healthy and our needs are met."

"Don't just think about your feelings, think about your child. He has entered SD, surely he will start to feel different from other children who have papa."

"Yes, I'll think. You don't want to go home yet? Don't let your husband come home, you're not home yet." Jeany reminded her best friend.

"Yes, it's already at this hour" complained Mita who still wants to chat long with her best friend. "I'm often afraid Mas Pras will turn away, Jean. If he wants to play futsal ama his friends right now I like parno he really plays futsal or somewhere else."

"Don't think about it. Your husband is very loyal, his face is calm so there are no flirtatious at all."

"You have a child still plain. Precisely the guy who looks calm is the most breezy if in bed." Mita said without embarrassment.

Jeany did not refute Mita's words. A man he had known in the past was like that as well.

"Yes, I've finished this coming home. How much longer are those brownies dead?" ask Mita while helping Jeany take the brownie dus from the closet. "There are ten of them, Jean! You have to retire again."

"Twenty minutes to go. Yes, I stopped at the printing press. I'll take work tomorrow."

"If you marry again, you don't have to be tired of looking for extra income like this."

"I'm glad it's a hobby."

Mita came home from Jeany's house with a sigh. He again failed to persuade his friend. Too bad, he thought, at a very young age Jeany prefers to live single and single-handedly raise her son for fear that his failure in the household will be repeated.

The next day, as usual, Jeany rode her motorcycle to the office. He had permission to enter the afternoon because he had to take his son to school on the first day of learning. Of course no one knows this except Prasetyo, his boss at the office and husband of his best friend.

Jeany walked quickly and entered her room in the finance division. Juli, her comrade there was already waiting, impatient to share the story.

"Lo tau no, Jean, our new dirut cakeeppp really deh. Still young again!"

"Hm." Jeany did not enthusiastically listen because her mind was focused on the pile of work that had to be completed immediately.

"Why do you also enter late? If you see Mr. Kevin lo will also be kayak kalepek me. All the girls in the office on a splash know no!"

Jeany looked at me. The movement of his hand that was compiling the sales note came to a halt. "What's? Mr Kevin?"

"Yes. Mr. Kevin's our new birth name. Wh why? Lo know? He said he graduated from Singapore and previously worked as a GM there. The ideal type of man anyway. I think it's still single. I guess he could fall in love with me, right?" July seemed to be starting to fantasize.

Jeany subconsciously shook her head. Impossible, he thought. The owner of Kevin's name isn't just that one guy. It is even more impossible if after a long time, they will be reunited as superiors and subordinates in the same company. Too coincidental. The woman then continued her work.

"There's more gossip!" Anet, another friend started telling stories. "Mom Lisa was just engaged! He said his fiancee is the same as the subsidiary owner of this company. He's just the same story as Vera, but he knows what Vera bucket is like?"

"A really good one?! It was lucky that Miss Lisa. I'm beautiful, pinter, a lot of money, dapet mate same boss son again!" Juli said envy.

Jeany is losing her patience. The two friends never change, always gossip. Although they are both also the ones who make his days in the office so not boring.

"Yes, Miss SPV ..," said July and Anet together.

They're just joking. Jeany's position in the office is the same as theirs, equally financial staff. But because Jeany is always serious about work and often reminds those who sometimes do stray from work like that, they so nicknamed him Bu Supervisor.

"Amiyi." Jeany said to her friends.

"What's wrong?" Kevin raised his head to look at Lisa who had just entered the man's room.

"I want to invite you to choose an invitation to go home from work later. It's time to take it."

"Next time don't see me in the office too often if only for personal matters like this."

"Can't I see my own fiancee?"

"We have to be professional, Lis. Don't give bad examples to employees."

"Nobody knows we're engaged. They must think I'm in your room for work."

Kevin did forbid Lisa from announcing their relationship at the office. The woman obeyed him with a heavy heart, because actually she really wanted to show off Kevin as her future husband to her office friends and make them feel jealous of his luck.

"So what, Vin?" urged Lisa again for not getting an answer from Kevin.

"Let's go back to our office to the printing house, Hansen's brother."

"Okay ntar car I was left in the office aja yes, you anterin I came home gapapa right?" Lisa asked with a happy face.

Kevin just gave a nod in response.

That afternoon Henny felt his body condition was very good. The feeling of happiness because his second son will soon be married also helped improve his health condition. He also joined the driver who every day is in charge of delivering and picking up his only grandson at school. Sisters who help monitor their health at home are prohibited from attending.

"I'm just for a minute, no need for company."

The old woman got out of her car when she heard the school bell ringing, a sign that the class hour was over. He walked towards the school gate. Not long after, the children ran out. Some of the children went home with their parents, some walked to the school shuttle car. The children who had not been picked up were waiting inside the gate. The school security guards watched the children.

Henny's still waiting for Enzo to come out. At that time two boys quarreled not far from where he stood. They hit each other and kicked with cries of anger. Henny was unable to dodge when the two children hit her. He lost his balance and his head slightly hit the fence before he fell.

The woman screamed in surprise. The fake hair she was wearing was detached from its original place. Some of the children who saw him spontaneously laughed. But not a few who actually screamed in fear and ran away from him. Henny sat down. He felt very ashamed. Chemotherapy for the treatment of cancer he did make his hair suffered severe loss. In a short time he suffered from baldness. He realized that his wrinkled skin and bald head might look very scary to the children.

The school security guard and some of the students' parents went to help him stand up. At that moment a small hand was outstretched at him, while holding onto his fake hair.

"Here's the hair, ma'am," said the little boy with an innocent smile.

Henny was stunned to see the little boy. Not only was the child not afraid of him, but also because the boy's face was very similar to his second son's.

Jeany researched the printings of the brownie box she ordered at a printing press. It says Kenny's Cake there. Yes, he made his son's name a trade name for the brownies he sold. This gave him his own spirit when he felt tired and wanted to stop selling.

Ever since Kenny could eat, Jeany knew her son was very fond of sweets. He learned to make various kinds of cakes to give to his son. Mita and many people praised the taste of the cake, encouraging him to dare to sell the cake. But the woman only had the confidence to market brownies, which she felt were the most delicious of all the cakes she had ever tried to make.

Meanwhile, Kevin and Lisa have just arrived at Hansen's printing press.

"You go in, Lis, just choose the design first. I'm gonna buy you a drink there. You want to not?" kevin said he pointed to a minimalist design kiosk that sells contemporary coffee drinks.

"Don't you know I don't like coffee. Yes, I entered first, you do not long after."

Lisa then entered the printing house. Kevin looked at it and walked away. Not to the coffee kiosk he had pointed at, but to a small park not far from there. The man sat there quietly and pondered.

Kevin actually doesn't care about his wedding invitation. Any design chosen by Lisa would definitely agree to it right away. Therefore he chose to delay the time, hoping when he entered later Lisa had found a design that he liked so that he no longer needed to linger there.

After being felt long enough and Lisa must have got the desired invitation design, Kevin walked back to the printing press. His steps which were originally in ordinary speed, slowed down when he saw a female figure that looked familiar to him. He watches more closely. His feet stopped stepping. He couldn't believe what he saw.

She is the same as she was seven years ago. His body remains small and slim. Her once long hair is now cut to a shoulder, with a cut model that fits perfectly with her face, making her still look like a college girl. The much-missed Paras slowly turned his gaze to her. When their eyes met, the woman dropped the object she was holding.
