The sound of the door opening hastily shocked the occupants of the financial division. Faces that were in focus staring at the computer screen suddenly lifted and looked towards the door. Everyone was shocked to see who was standing there.
Kevin's gaze swept across the entire room of the division. He watched one by one the table that was there. There was only one table that was uninhabited, a table that belonged to the woman he was looking for.
"Where is Jeany?" ask her in July who was sitting right next to the empty table.
"Je-Jeany is home, sir. He said again not feeling well," replied Juli stammered because suddenly asked by the cold director.
"Well, is he coming home?"
"Get Grab."
Kevin immediately stepped foot towards the door at the end of the room which was the access to the room Prasetyo and his assistant manager.
"Now also to my room" he told Prasetyo. Again without a smile.
"Does our division make mistakes, sir? How come Mr Kevin's mad at his face?" Febi asked worriedly at her superior.
"I don't know either, Feb."
Prasetyo walked up to Kevin who had already left the finance division room. He felt his staff watching him with a face of pity.
"Must be scolded. You see, Mr. Kevin, his face is very sleek," said Juli began to gossip.
"But if you want to get angry Mr. Pras why did Mr. Kevin start Jeany first?" sangkal Anett's.
"Hmm maybe it's just a prank because you don't see Jeany, they're old friends."
"I don't think Mr. Kevin is the kind of person who likes to take a prank."
The staff could only guess what was really going on. Meanwhile, inside the main director's room, Prasetyo was sitting opposite Kevin. Kevin's sharp gaze made him want to take his eyes off. But for the sake of decency held that desire.
"The kid you said looked like me, was he Jeany's kid?"
Prasetyo looked shocked. He even asked back. "So Mr Kevin already knows?"
"How old is he?"
"Six years more, sir."
Kevin's eyes seemed to be shaking. It was that big her son's age.
"Male or female?"
"Male."
"What's his name?"
"Kenny, sir."
"Kenny ...." Kevin could not help but smile.
Prasetyo until he did not think to see the person before him. What was the man's true nature, cold and haughty like an iceberg, or as warm and loving as he had shown when he was with Jeany?
"Why?" Kevin's jaw is hardened. His eyes were radiating anger.
"Why what, sir?"
"Why didn't Jeany tell me?"
"Oh that ...." Prasetyo smile. But his smile was immediately lost to see Kevin's increasingly darkened face.
"Ehem." Prasetyo pretended to clear his throat before replying. "Because Mr. Kevin is getting married. Jeany was afraid that Mr. Kevin would not accept Kenny. Or even take Kenny from him."
Prasetyo can see the change in Kevin's facial features. The cold face now showed what the owner was feeling. Sad, angry, disappointed .... Everything was clear in Prasetyo's eyes.

Jeany just got to Mita's house. He had to go home sooner than the office. Even though his body had recovered, his heart was not fine. It was probably the most painful experience for him. Because the pieces of hope that he managed to connect with difficulty had to be destroyed again, this time was not left alone.
"Mrs ...!" Kenny ran to greet his mother.
Jeany kissed the son's cheek. "His Brownies are being given to you, honey?"
"Udah, Mom. Oma says Mama's a hard worker!"
Jeany smiled in response. A forced state, he thought wryly.
"Jean, have you had lunch? Still kliyengan?" asked Mita who was worried to see the pale face of her best friend.
"Yet, Mit. It's all better."
"She ate here. You must not have cooked, right?"
"Yes this morning just fried eggs for breakfast."
"Yeah, Kenny, we'll get your mama to eat" Mita asked the foster child.
Mita and Kenny accompany Jeany in the dining room. Thankfully, the menu was koloke. Flour-coated chicken meat fried and served with a syrup of sweet-sour sauce is Jeany's favorite food from childhood. There is also a vegetable stir-fry commonly called capcay by people, but Jeany does not touch it. He never liked vegetables.
As Jeany was washing the dishes, Mita's bell rang. He leaves Jeany and Kenny in the kitchen to see who's coming.
Jeany was in the kitchen for a long time. He all washed the cooking utensils that were still piled up in the kitchen sink Mita, counting as a thank you because his best friend always helped him take care of the son. Just halfway through, Mita's dish soap runs out.
Turns out Mita doesn't have a stockpile of dish soap in her closet. Feeling the responsibility, the perfectionist Jeany intends to go to a neighboring stall to buy soap and continue her dishwashing activities. He brought his son along.
While holding Kenny, Jeany walked towards the front door. The woman saw Mita in the living room with a man sitting behind her. He seemed familiar to him. I've seen it, Jeany thought.
"Mit, I'm taking Kenny next door. Mo bought soap," she told Mita.
Mita's face looked nervous. He looked at the male guest.
"Ehm, Jean, someone's gonna talk to you."
Jeany looked at Mita with a questioning look. Just then the male guest stood up and flipped his body. Jeany's eyes widened. Kevin was giving him a piercing glare. He and Kevin looked at each other for a long time.
Kevin then looked at the little boy beside Jeany, who was also looking at him. Kevin's eyes shook from the intense longing he felt. He desperately wanted to hug the boy, the flesh and blood that he had just learned of his presence. He was eager to introduce himself, hearing the boy call him papa.
But before that, he must clear up the misunderstanding between himself and the mother of the child. He looked back at Jeany. "Mit, can you just take Kenny for a second?" ask Mita while still looking at Jeany's face.
"L-yes can!"
Mita was very nervous. Watching the meeting between the father and son being separated for so long made him flutter. He took Kenny and took him out. "Kenny, a walk to the park would you like? I'll buy you ice cream there."
"She wants to, Mommy!" Kenny turned to his mother for permission. "Kenny can go to the park, right, Ma?"
Jeany nodded slowly. "So be careful playing."
The two remaining people in the room were still standing with their eyes fixed on each other. Jeany wanted to say something but her lips were locked. Kevin walked forward to close the distance between himself and Jeany.
"When do you want to hide my son?"
"Who told you?"
One blow by Jeany frees his arm from Kevin's check. The woman desperately held on so as not to cry. "What did I say?! Why do you know that you will soon marry another woman?!"
"I deserve to know, Jean! Whatever he is my son!" Kevin shouted furiously in front of Jeany. He was so angry that his body shook.
But Kevin's anger is nothing compared to Jeany's heartache. The woman beat Kevin in the chest, unable to hold back her tears. "You fucking man! Since I know you my life has been hard! You had fun with Lisa and forgot about me!"
With no less sadness, Kevin held Jeany's hand to stop beating her. He pulled her into his arms and let Jeany shed her tears there.
"Basic fool. I never forgot you."
Jeany again beat Kevin while sobbing. "Liar!"
"I'm not lying, Jean. Then and now the only person I love is you."
"Then why did you want to marry Lisa???"
"My mother is very sick and asked me to get married soon. I had to, Jean! I thought we couldn't be together anymore! I didn't know you were divorced with Randy!"
Jeany stopped beating Kevin and raised her head to look at the man. "Yet because of your mom?"
Jeany's question uttered with a face full of hatred raised Kevin's anger. "Whatchu mean? You still blame my mama?"
Anger also regained control of Jeany. He pushed Kevin's body as hard as he could. "Your mother forced us to break up! I asked to break up for fear that the bleeding in your head was getting worse, because you were always pushing yourself! But as soon as I found out I was pregnant, I went straight to your house!"
Jeany's chest was seen rising and falling as her breathing accelerated. The events that have been recalled are still painful for him. "Your mother took me to the abortion clinic and threatened to abort Kenny if I was still looking for you!"
Kevin's body seemed powerless after hearing Jeany's story. He did not want to believe his mother could be that cruel. But Jeany could not lie to him. He went forward and grabbed Jeany's hand. "Please forgive my mama, Jean," he said with teary eyes.
"I can't!" jeany immediately shook Kevin's hand.
Kevin closed his eyes for a moment and nodded in understanding. "I understand you still need time."
He invited Jeany to sit on the sofa and rested her head on his shoulder. "When did you know you were pregnant?" she asked while gently rubbing Jeany's hair.
"One month after we broke up. I just realized it's been two months."
Kevin cringing. "But it's not time in my house that you get?" ask him confusedly.
"The doctor said it was probably implantation bleeding. Because it's just a little while and it's a little bit."
The man wrapped his hands around Jeany's shoulders and hugged her tightly "I wish I had been more sensitive. I should have known when I saw you vomiting. I'm such a fool!" he said full of regret.
Jeany smiled bitterly in Kevin's arms. "Yes .. we are both stupid ...."
"Is that why you married Randy?"
"Yes" replied Jeany. "I don't know what else to do. When he called, I told him everything. He came back to Jakarta and took me to Bali. We got married there."
"Did he treat you well?"
"Very good. Even though we were only married for status, he really treated me like his wife."
Jealous. That's what Kevin feels right now. He became jealous when it came to that woman. But now is not the time to show that childish side of him.
"Why are you getting divorced?"
"His parents were very disappointed to learn that Kenny was not their granddaughter. They forced Randy to divorce me."
Kevin felt guilty again. "Sorry, Jean. Sorry you had to go through all this ...."
Jeany raised her head until she no longer leaned on Kevin's shoulder. "Are you going to marry Lisa?"
Kevin shakes. "I've broken off my engagement to Lisa so I know you're not Randy's wife anymore."
Kevin's reply surprised Jeany. He made sure one more time. "So you guys aren't officially engaged?"
"I just talked to Lisa. Tomorrow I'll see his family."
"What about your family?"
The man hugged Jeany. "Don't be afraid, Jean. I won't let you suffer anymore" she whispered softly but sounded reassuring. "You want to take me back?"
Jeany looked at Kevin. Where could he not want to? For seven years the man had never left his heart. He gave a nod in response.
"Thank you .. Thank you, Jean ...." Kevin hugged Jeany. "Now please introduce me to my son."
Kevin and Jeany walk towards the residential park. There Kenny is playing ball with the neighborhood children, while being watched by Mita. Jeany called out to the son who ran over to her. Mita went away to give them privacy.
"Kenny ...." Jeany knelt down to keep her face level with Kenny's. "Papa's home, son." He pointed at Kevin who was standing not far from them.
Kenny looked in the direction Jeany pointed. "Papa? That om?"
Kevin approached the mother and child and squatted down in front of Kenny. "Yes this is papa. Sorry, papa just came in now?"
Kevin's heart was beating because a face very similar to him was just staring at him. He was afraid that the son would not accept it. But not long after, Kenny's cute voice asked, "Papa's healed? Papa won't go for treatment again?"
Kevin hugged his son full of. "Engga, Honey. Papa won't leave you again."
Kenny jumps happily in Kevin's arms. "Horeee .... Papa is healed! Papa's home! Kenny loves Papa!" The boy hugged his father.
Kevin's tears can no longer be contained. "Papa loves Kenny too. I love Mom and Kenny."
***
Kevin really proved his promise to Jeany. After dinner with his family, he invited his mother to meet his future wife.
"When have you been so romantic, son?" Henny laughed thinking Kevin meant Lisa.
"Since I fell in love with him."
Henny complied with her son's request. He was glad that the son who had turned into a cold man seven years ago was now responding to every word with a smile. He hasn't had a warm conversation with Kevin in a long time.
But an unrelenting pain appeared on his forehead when the son turned his car into a housing complex that should not have been their destination.
"Lisa's house mama's not here, Vin."
"We're not going to Lisa's house."
Henny is confused. "Say you want to go to your future wife's house? Who else if not Lisa?"
"She's the mother of my son, Ma."
"What do you mean?" The furrow on Henny's forehead deepened.
"Later Mama knew too" replied Kevin. Not long after that he smiled. "We have arrived."
Kevin takes Henny out of the car, to a house that looks very simple. He knocked on the door of the house. Henny could not hide her curiosity. Many times he asked Kevin but his son just smiled.
The door opened, revealing the face of a woman whom Henny hated most.
"You?!"
